@BreadbuterknifeNinja Sorry, but considering your words I don't think you're ready to become aware of God's Love. It's absolutely unco ditional. As for now, you better question your stories about talking to God, since you're imagining God as something separate from you who can love or hate you. What if it's just been you talking to yourself all this time?

Be that person.

@DecemberFlower Short answer: go for it. Be open to error. Just stay away from obviously stupid mistakes, such as having a child prematurely, using cocaine, heroine etc. The road to success is paved with failures.

@Neorez It's a dream and the dream is all you got. The matrix is the ultimate miracle. You are the ultimate miracle. -
@PretentiousHuman Ask them why they do that.

@themovement You're severely stuck. Might also buy the entire drugstore... Just drop your fetish for pills and grow up. I think you're close to getting banned due to your insistence and attachment to shallow ways of thinking. -
@BreadbuterknifeNinja You're unconsciously linking your barrage or negative emotions to useless beliefs. Let go of the grandiousnes of your suffering. Deal with your emotions and stop adding useless layers of big plots between angels and demons. Have you been lying too much? Too much envy? Unhealthy use of your sexuality? What's happening with you?

The word "labour" comes from Latin "laborare", which means "to transform". A reasonable work should offer value to society so before you think about quitting you better have a good plan on how you will truly serve the world. Working is not just about doing what you want to do. The perfect job should bring massive value to society and be performed with a healthy thirst for perfection. Be smart. Use your 3 hours per day to plan your next steps. Also, stop thinking that the orange aspects of your current work is bad for you. That's just victim mentality. Use your time at work to grow and sharpen yourself, as you said. If coleegues are disrespecting you, that's something else. But it doesn't seem to be the case. And you don't have to sit from 9 to 5. Stand up, do some stretching, breathe, be yourself. Go for 5 minutes walks after lunch. Be creative. It's almost always possible to find room for spontaneity and moments of relaxation.

@kieranperez I don't have much to say. When immersed in the pursuit of Truth, there's no authority other than direct experience. I've said it dozens of times on this forum. It can be a scary and liberating realization at the same time. 100% self responsibility is a HUUUUGE step. Go ahead.

It's still just a tool. The more complex the tool is, the more harm it can cause and the more benefit it can do. It depends on the wisdom of it's user.

An online forum addiction, bad eating habits, vicious gaming, consumerism etc. You name it. It's your responsibility, always. You can use a hammer to help you build a house or to destroy your own kitchen. Make your choice.

This is not a place for babysitting. Self-responsibility is something everyone should aim for. Read the forum guidelines for more info.

Science models reality as an attempt to describe it's "hows". To understand what reality is, you cannot rely on science. You need to understand that the search for Truth does not discredit science. Science has its place. You just need to be aware of the limits and the goals of science. -
@Nivsch Do you want to dive deeper into Yellow? Then you gotta go meta. What's the grounding truth of any ideology? Is it possible to hold an absolutely true point of view?
-
Because the goal of the spiral dynamics model is to make people interested in integrating yellow and beyond. Keep in mind that the spiral dynamics framework itself is from the yellow stage. People from green and below will just adhere to their same sets of ideologies because they feel threatened by models that place them as "not the truth keepers".

Yes, a virtuous man can have those for a greater good (without harming anyone). I didn't say that spiritual purification excludes material success. I said that those are not the goal of spiritual purification. You can achieve material success due to other forms of seeking.

Should also create an account on a random MMORPG and play 24/7 to move up stages. See, you should not try to tell people what they should be interested in. Thirst for personal development is something that comes from within or from "accidental" events in Life. You can't just tell someone that likes football that football is bad. For the same reason, you can't just tell someone that doesn't like football that football is good. Well, technically you can tell them. It just won't work.

You can simply leave that group. Also, how can't you be interested in <insert random subject>?! You should be interested in <insert random subject>!

@theking00 What would you expect to be a trustworthy answer? In the end, it doesn't matter if I tell you "yes" or "no". -
Focus on dropping your old mental patterns and changing yourself for the better. Pick some practical path like the yogic yamas and niyamas or the buddhist eightfold path. You don't need to reinvent the wheel. The wheel will reinvent you. Ask yourself "Why is this item important?", "Why shouldn't I lie?", "What is wisdom?" etc. Go beyond the mainstream ways of thinking.

Most people live in lower levels of consciousness. Learn to think by yourself. Don't be a believer. Be a challenger.
-
Short answer: yes. Somewhat longer answer: repressed emotions do cause diseases.

@sakevx Start by taking lonely walks.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Spiritual work will never satisfy the ego. It's quite the opposite! The undisciplined mind will find all sorts of reasons to protect itself and attach to any amount of beliefs. Honestly, I feel quite sad for you if you think that what happens to that guy is unfair. As if it were desirable! Pfff The path of spiritual purification is though. It won't give you pussy, fame, money or power. It's the path to become a virtuous human being. If you're not willing to forget who you think you are, this is the best moment to run.

You can't become what you already are. You can only experience and realize True Nature.
