@Aakash Ready to throw all of that in the trash can yet? -
@Viking Short answer: learn to enjoy what you do or do what you enjoy.

@Meditationdude There are two major aspects of spiritual purification: consistency and efficiency. Throw your 4 years away and face your difficulties now, just like on day one. Have you examined your anxiety rush before taking shrooms? Let me picture it like this: imagine a guy who lives peacefully in the woods and takes shrooms as if it weren't that big of a deal. What is it that the tree guy has that you are you lacking? Why are you so tense? -

Sure, the winning me. As long as the me thrives, the rest of the world can explode. Can't you smell your own arrogance? This is why Adyashanti says that the path to enlightenment is the path of failure. -

@Meditationdude I recommend that you do some inner work before trying psychedelics. You need to learn how to live in a tranquil state of mind. -

Life is already God. You don't need to die. Suicide is an act against the work of God, so to speak. Imagine the complexity and the energy required to come to be as a human. Being a human is a rare event in the Universe. And then all of a sudden you destroy it by killing yourself. Such a waste! It's usually easy for us to see that we shouldn't destroy forests and oceans. Why destroy a human life? God is HERE. Enlightenment is NOW. -
Some things are too nuanced be clearly explained by language. Just to give you a clue: what if it wasn't really "Leo" alterating the consciousness of fetuses (which, btw, it wasn't "Leo") but he became aware of Reality doing it? It's totally possible, since Reality is our own very mature. I have watched the birth of galaxies and the death of stars. I have seen atoms pop up out of nothing. "I feel every mountain. I hear every tree. I know every ocean. I taste every sea. I've seen every spring arrive. I've seen every summer thrive. I've seen every autumn keep. I've seen every winter sleep." If you've had at least one experience beyond the feeling of being human, wiring the brain of fetuses is not that strange. Existence is creepingly absurd and radically mystical. There is still a long way to go. And no need to worry. You're not the guardian of the Universe . Existence is prior to the avatar you're experiencing. We've been here for the eternal past and we'll be here for the eternal future to come. Have some fun. Let the trippers trip. Let the criticizers criticize. No harm is being done.

@Kushu2000 Stick to what makes sense to you and follow your heart. This is not a game of beliefs. Let the trippers trip. Let the criticizers criticize. Do your best to improve the quality of your life and that's it.

We feel bad when we do harm. Don't do harm and live with a lightweight heart. It's easy to fall into the mental trap of thinking that this is a egotistical goal, though. But that only happens in the perspective of the separated self. In the end, there's simply the minimization of suffering... "yours" and "theirs". -

How can an infinite being be outside the Universe? It's INFINITE after all. -
@Nivsch Great realization. What would happen if you let go of your points of view? It's a fantastic experiment.
-
@assx95 It's easy to sense neediness, even unconsciously. Are you talking to girls expecting them to behave in a certain way? Double check your attitude.

@Wekz Good move. Stress kills.

ajasatya replied to kieranperez's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@kieranperez Truth cannot be appreciated by an agitated mind. You need to take care of the earthly matters first. This is why it works for monks... they hack themselves into contentment by letting go of material success. Only a detached mind can be the soil for proper spiritual inquiry. -
ajasatya replied to Paul92's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Paul92 So be it. Close your browser and go out for a walk. Meet and talk to new people. Make new friends. Truth is not something that you are not. Just accept your desire for once. -
ajasatya replied to Paul92's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Paul92 Unfortunately, nobody else can give you the answers you need at this point. Fortunately, you don't need anyone else to get the answers you need at this point. This is where the actual spiritual inquiry starts. You need to develop full authenticity and 100% self-responsibility. You've been playing with words in the mind until now. What's beyond "we are robots" and "we are not robots"? What's beyond "yes" and "no"? What's beyond questioning? Can you notice the trickery behind my words? The mind is a vulnerable thing, prone to deceivance. -
ajasatya replied to Paul92's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Paul92 You can just drop the confusion and move on. You're drowning in concepts and beliefs. Have you ever been to a zen retreat? -
ajasatya replied to Paul92's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Paul92 Lots of confusion indeed. -
ajasatya replied to shahryar's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@shahryar Discover your path. Be free of attachments. You don't need to force yourself to watch every video from Leo. Take what serves you. I think you already know what you need to embody. -
@Elisabeth It's very easy to smell a heavy load of self-limiting beliefs in your words. The simple fact that you're not really open to becoming better at the numerical aspect of physics is a big one. You think of yourself as "done", like "this is it, I suck at math". What a burden! Human beings are never "done".

ajasatya replied to kieranperez's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
We are already "collective consciousness". You can't tap into it because a knife can't cut itself and a tooth can't bite itself. You can just become aware of what you already are. -
@Mind of a beast Try both and see how each feel. You don't have to commit for the rest of your life. This is your adventure.

@Elisabeth Oh well, it's C++. Did you download their 40 pages manual? Have you tried contacting them to explain your problems? They published the following e-mail on the lib webpage: nrgljubljana@ijs.si. And here's the personal webpage of the creator of the lib: http://auger.ijs.si/nano/ I'm quite hardcore, so I'd just make my own way through the hard times. You may even contribute to the lib by reporting bugs and you may also increase your network by becoming a friend of the lib maintainer. If you watch closely, the last patch is very recent so the lib is still being developed. What if you end up being part of something greater than your own PhD thesis? You never know! Major mental attitude: where there's difficulty, there's opportunity for expansion, improvement and uniqueness.

"Giving up" only happens on a superficial level. But fundamentally speaking, it is impossible to give up. Existential suffering will drag you in again over and over until you've "done it". At least, that's how it happened to me.
