  1. mastering/embodying truth requires a complete shift on one's behavior towards virtues, altruism and purity. intellectual gibberish or truth experiences alone won't lead to true happiness.
  2. @aniss well, if you manage to quit masturbation and porn without yoga/meditation then you're a spiritual genius. also, what you ingest is directly related to your capacity to attain true peace of mind. alcohol and industrialized food are real toxins.
  3. i know two brazilian companies: hinode lola cosmetics
  4. @aniss as i thought, you're wasting your sexual energy. this leads to demotivation and stress. if you want to heal yourself, you need to learn how to channel your sexual energy through your spine. i have nothing else better to recommend other than the practice of the 8 limbs of yoga. it's a millenarian method and it works.
  5. @aniss this requires DEEP analysis. how are your relationships with people from the opposite sex? how sedentary are you? how dependent on your parents are you when it comes down to experiencing things that you judge as essential? and what do you think of that dependency (it's ok / it sucks)? how hard is it for you to handle your sexuality? have you ever tried meditation/yoga before?
  6. yes, this is a claim to enlightenment. but be careful: most people think that enlightenment makes them special. i am saying that i am completely healed and that i'm grateful for the life that i have right now. the guy wants to know what enlightenment entails. and i'm saying that enlightenment entails true happiness.
  7. mastering nonduality leaded me to true peace of mind. everything i do in my life comes from that state. every thought, word and action. every decision, including not to think. my mind is steady and everything in my life have flourished. i'm WAY more tender. all my relationships have improved. my sexual life has tremendous quality and i'm being able to heal my parents (slowly). i can focus on my professional tasks (mathematics) and inspiration comes naturally and with ease. nobody can be led to enlightenment. one has to follow his very own intuition by using his suffering as his fuel. there's no other way.
  8. @JKG i am a computer scientist too. take a look at this: Philosophy_of_Mind_s_New_Lease_on_Life_A.pdf
  9. @Revolutionary Think just find a zen sangha. they know what they've been doing for almost 800 years. zazen all the way through your suffering.
  10. yes. it is THAT good. but you cannot just read it. you have to practice what he says with all your spiritual effort.
  11. @Ryan_047 you need to find grace inside of you. apply for yoga classes. try biodance. do something to teach you ways to love yourself. dive into your body and let yourself cry until all the pain have been dried out.
  12. @Ry4n try yogic pranayamas. search for "kapalabhati" and "sat kriya".
  13. @SaynotoKlaus playing journey on a PS3 zazen and hatha yoga (yes, they are hobbies to me) contemplating stillness contemplating sea waves walking and breathing organizing the place where i live tantric sex watching series like The OA and Westworld poetry and music attaining a compassionate perspective about people
  14. no, i mean white sugar. i don't know how popular it is where you live but it's extremely popular in brazil.
  15. it has been said.
  16. @Beau you will suffer greatly if you keep on craving for a lover. spiritual liberation comes from realizing your own completeness by stopping seeing people as means to satisfy your needs. from this place of contentment with a steady mind, it's easier to find a healthy partner, since you yourself are healthier.
  17. @Noah hello! i've been there. this was my solution: i started practicing yoga with good teachers that taught asanas and pranayamas i started meditating every monday in a zen sangha and i implemented the meditative mental attitude throughout the day these practices filled me with contentment and wisdom.
  18. @ElenaO try removing lactose and sugar from your diet for 2 weeks and see what happens. those 2 are inflammatory substances for our body.
  19. @Dan Arnautu mastering profession is just one area of domain. does he eat healthy? exercise properly? feel connected to people around him? feel true peace of heart?
  20. @barry what will your parents be able to do when you're about to die? have you ever thought about it? have you REALLY thought about it? someday you'll get really SICK and all this bullshit will make no sense. stop finding excuses and live your life. OR DIE FULL OF REGRET.
  21. @jse don't be late
