I don't think what you suggests is politically viable or even practical. Another solution here could be to change social norms, or be patient and watch them adapt. Women and men will have to change how they pick their partners, as the world is changing. And I don't see how this problem is unique to Black People, is that not happening in pretty much all demographics?

My disagreement is not that you do not make relative distinctions, but rather that you have unconscious biases that undermine your goal of harmony and unity. You have a spiritual bias, you undermine the idea of bias, as if you wanted to achieve full unbiasedness. But reality is fundamentally biased. Every single atom in this universe has bias, without that bias, nothing could even exist, because there could not possibly be something rather than nothing. You would argue that humanity should go beyond morality, and simply act consciously and lovingly. That to me fundamentally misunderstands what Love does. Love simply amplifies and creates bias. Love does not prefer anything over anything else. If you were perfectly Loving and had no bias, you would simply be God. You would not be a human who acts in a compassionate manner. Acting in a compassionate manner, after enlightenment, is only so because of your human bias. Whatever your bias will be, will be how you will act. Some people who have a certain bias will rape people when they get enlightened, because that is what Love will amplify. Raping and torturing another is Pure Love, and only bias could make you prefer to rape someone or to prefer not to rape someone. The construction, your humanity, is the only thing that allows for action, for preference. And that is bias. Evolution will always select for certain biases, and that is why humanity is the way it is, and why it has the biases it does, and why it will evolve the biases it will evolve. What allows you to say debates about morality are stupid, is morality. Morality is preference, nothing more, nothing less. In that way, even the atoms of this universe have a particular moral code. Yes, it is an illusion, but everything is. If you disintegrate this Preference Making Process, you will simply dissolve into Nothingness. That is not what Evolution is here for. Evolution does precisely the opposite. Everything that has bias continues, and everything that has not returns to no thingness. That is precisely the wisdom of this reality. You cannot use Love to decide anything, you can only use it to energize that which is. And more fundamentally even, all of these biases are Love, so there is nothing to even distinguish here. What this teaches us is that spirituality is like anything else, a bias. A bias that to be uphold, must survive. For that bias to exist, you have to participate in survival. And that makes you no different from anything else in this existence. And furthermore, you only care about it because you are human. An ant does not care. This is a good metaphor for what Love does: -

I think this is Naive, the construction and evolution of morality is part of the Highest Consciousness. WIthout it, you wouldn't be here talking about how morality is irrelevant, you would be hunted by a lion and crying about how much it hurts to get eaten alive. It is precisely because badness does not exist, that it must be constructed. If everyone became Ultimate Consciousness, without any constructed morality, they would rape, murder and enslave each other for fun, because none of that actually is devilry. The only reason why it is devilry to you is because you are a human, and you have been born in this culture, in this time, with a brain that has encoded with the illusion of goodness and badness. You cannot help but undermine different aspects of Isness, that is part of Ultimate Wisdom and Ultimate Good. Debates about morality are infinite Wisdom, and the construction of badness is Infinitely Wise and Necessary and Good. Survival Biases are Good, they are Divine, they are Perfection. People who debate morality understand exactly what they need to understand, they are in Perfect Harmony, in Perfect Union. As are you, as you perpetuate the same thing you critize your brothers and sisters for. You cannot help it, you are the best evidence for how Ignorance is WIsdom. You have your own little biases, that you wouldn't have if you wouldn't be Leo, or Human, or born today and in this time. And you pretend as if they were somehow different from debating morality, or that it was not in the same way stupid. Badness exist as much as anything in existence exists. -
I don't dislike humanity, did you read my initial post?

I don't agree with this, humanity never really lived in harmony with nature, we have caused extinctions and destruction for tens of thousands of years, aswell as killing each other in tribalistic manners. Identity has expanded over time, and it is now more expansive than it has ever been before. It is precisely because of nature that we behave this way. Our fear, our selfishness, is informed by our legacy. Nature does not mind rape, murder, torture, selfishness, sexism, racism, speciesism. Nature thrives in suffering and ignorance. Nature's wisdom is of a different kind, the kind that made us what we are today.

And that you do by making humans care about animals, by extending their identity.

That is precisely the trap of biased empathy. In a world in which white people prioritize compassion for white people, white people do not actually prosper the most, and harmony does optimally flourish. It is precisely the extention of compassion and identity that allows for completely new solutions to arise that were previously not accessible. Due to our lack of compassion for all individuals, we create harm in the world that directly effects us, as it has to be in a world that is interconnected. This is the counter intuitive nature of progress. When there is a school shooting, ironically to create more harmony and unity, we need to extend our compassion to the one who has committed the school shooting, and individuals who have the potential to do so in the future. It is precisely our lack of compassion here that perpetuates this problem, because our lack of compassion, our bias, is blinding us to the solution. A tremendous amount of suffering in the world, especially in the third world, is caused by our inability to extend our identity towards animals. If we did respect animals, we would have to respect nature. The current way we seek to motivate action towards sustainability and against the destruction of nature, is by self-interested fear. You will not solve these issues by that kind of means, as global failure to tackle and resolve existential threats has proven to us. However, by extending identity, we actually teach people to be less selfish, or in other words to have a more universal sense of self. We do not simply tell them to care about the environment because they might in the future potentially suffer from it if they live long enough, rather it can only happen if they recognize the immediate suffering that presents itself before them. You will never have people care about school shooters out of fear that more school shootings will happen, there has to be genuine compassion for that. Animals are humans, the only difference is morphology and slightly altered minds. Because of this, if you can show no compassion towards an animal, it is inevitable that this blindness will affect humans. The reason for this is that, that which you truly should care about, which is the experiencer, is equal in all individuals. Only once this is recognized will humanity be able to overcome the current issues it is facing. If it will not, it will perish sooner or later, inevitably, and so it should be. The issue is, to truly care about humans, you have to care about animals, because they are the same. If you do not care about animals, you do not truly care about humans. You do not care about the experiencer. And as long as that is the case, your society will be blind to it's own ignorance, to it the unnecessary suffering it is manifesting and perpetuating. If someone you love were to be turned into a pig, you would still care about them, every bit of suffering that pig would feel would be as bad to you as it would if they were a human. And once you realize that, you will realize why you need to care about everyone, no matter the shape of their body or state of their mind. To the degree to which you care less about animals, will be the degree to which you lack compassion towards humans. This is by the way why identity keeps extending. We see no difference between races, because there is no difference that is relevant. And so it is true for species. If you recognize that which is Truth, you will have complete compassion, not partial, biased compassion. And your idea that you could have ever achieved unity without first realizing this will seem silly to you. Here is a good way to showcase how distorted your viewpoint is: not prioritizing white people compassion is slower progress for black people, white people are the priority now, here

One of the most fundamental things you can be grateful for is the fact that you can make the Choice of being Grateful. Trillions of your brothers and sisters will never be able to decide to be Grateful, and those who are human, most will never reach the consciousness to consider to take this choice. Notice the power that was given to you, the miracle of choice, to determine your own perception. Truly, this is one of the things you can be most grateful for. Look at yourself, and the miracle you are. You have the potential to create Love and Harmony in this world and yourself, just by the power of choosing what you pay attention to. On the other hand you could create Hell, for yourself and others. Notice how many in this world do so. You have the capacity to think of only the negative things for every hour of every day of he year that you are awake. To contemplate all the negativity in this world, what is wrong with the world, with yourself with others. That infact is a very easy choice to make, to give in to your fear, to be defined by your fear, to let fear guide your thoughts and actions. What makes humanity special is not our intelligence, but our capacity to make a conscious choice between Love and Fear. And notice that this choice is your Freedom. That it would not be worth anything, it would not be a choice, if you were not given the opportunity to choose Fear over Love. The fact that Love has to be your free, conscious choice, is what renders it Love in the first place. If it was forced upon you, if it was not a result of Wisdom, if, well, it was not out of Love, it would not be Love. So, what you can be most grateful for is the fact that you can choose between Love and Fear. Between Gratefulness and Dissatisfaction. Get in touch with this gift you were given brothers and sisters. Connect yourself to it, realize how special it is, how it is not at all a given in this world, a given even in your own life. This Free Choice is a direct connection to True Free Will. Because whatever you will choose, that is actually you, God, making a choice out of pure Love. If you choose fear, it will be because you wanted it.

The concept of duality is used to serve a function. Dualities conceptually are extremely useful for humans, and most practical too. In most instances, fear and love will be in opposition. To deem a non-dual perspective to be more truthful or valid than that is itself a duality, and part of the same process of conceptualization. It is indeed very helpful to look at the world this way sometimes. You are still too focused on deconstruction. -

You have no insight into what Will is and what Free Will is. You are confusing some fundamental aspects of reality. Your question is basically why Objects do not have Free Will, why Manifestations, why Creation, has no Free Will. This is the issue. Free Will is that which gives rise to all things, to all Creation, to all Manifestation. Free Will is the First Cause, the Groundless Ground. Your Humanity, your limitation, that is the Expression of your Free Will. You have all the Power, you have All Wisdom, you have All Love. And what you did with all this wisdom, with all this power, with all this love, is to create this. This very Moment, your state, your suffering, your joy, whatever it is that Is. That is what you are creating out of pure Free Will, out of Infinite Wisdom and Love, including the very issue you are struggling with. You are the Creative Process of God, you are Free Will. This is God proper. This is it. There is no more. That is what you can realize. You cannot look for it anywhere, because this is it. The tail you are chasing is attached to you, all you must realize is that it is already a part of you, that there is no point in chasing it. The Hiddenness you describe, that is it. You are looking at this all wrong. You think there is something special that is underneath all of this, that is behind all of this. That somehow, there is a hidden substance that you must discover. That beyond all of this mundane stuff, there is a core more Truthful, more Pure, more Real. It is precisely the opposite. That which you confuse for the most mundane, that which you call "being a human with 0 free will", that is the Godhead. That is Pure Freedom. That is the Ultimate, the Absolute, Truth, Pure Divinity, Pure Love. See, you look at the color red, and you go "Argh damnit, this boring color Red, I have seen enough of it. I want to get to the juicy stuff, I want to get to God, to Love! I want the special sauce! I want Strangeloops and Explosions of Infinity and Multidimensional Fractals!". But Redness is the Special Sauce. That is what you are blind to. You just have to realize that what you have is already all there is. -

Destiny stands out because he is a very quick and thorough thinker, and he definitely has a lot of yellow, integral and systems thinking. He is very careful about his own biases and is good at identifying and pointing out the biases of others. He is a good example of the push-back much of stage green needs at this moment. -

It is interesting how human centric these perspectives are. In the eyes of the native animals outside of africa, all humans were invaders, including those we call native to the land. And unlike humans, we do not respect the true natives whatsoever. We do not give them rights to their lands, let alone rights to their lifes, because we do not care about them. We are selfish even in our compassion. -

Spirituality is basically just impatience. If you want to be selfless, there are much faster ways to get to it than any practice or any tripping. So, basically, what you actually want to do when you do spirituality is just appreciate life, before it is replaced by the Ultimate. You will get the Ultimate anyways, there is no avoiding it, even if you tried! That's the funny thing about this. You couldn't avoid the highest stage of consciousness even if you tried your hardest at it, for your entire life. It will come, it is inevitable. Infact, all of you are actively avoiding it! So what are you actually doing here? You are playing a game, or a drama, or a horroshow, and that's what it is about. And Leo, you are playing a particular game, much like many others, feeling it to be more special than the other games that are being played. And even better, you already are the Ultimate. And you did this, from that position. You are literally chasing the tail you are have created for yourself so you can end up creating it again. -
Scholar replied to sir meowski's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes, and conversly, that awakening is nothing compared to actual death. Ultimate Understanding awaits us all, and no 5-MeO will get close to it. You wouldn't be here talking to us if you reached the "highest levels of consciousness". And don't be arrogant, there a trillions of beings who reach the highest states of consciousness every single moment of existence, while you are here playing with 5-MeO pretending it's the shit because you can't let go fully. You are playing the same game as everyone else, desperately holding onto survival. I mean look at the comedy of this. You are going to death, and then you come back with it so you can tell everyone about how cool death is so you can avoid it and talk about how you reached the highest levels humanely possible. Well, good for you Leo, but it's not special. It never was, it never will be, you only imagine it to be. The ant across the street will go beyond all of that when someone steps on it. Fundamentally, you do not pursuit understanding. You pursuit talking about understanding. You know this yourself. I am not judgmental about this, but let us be clear that it is the same game as everyone else is playing. Delaying it just as much as those who meditate. You are exactly the same. You are so human, you just do this out of enjoyment basically. That's it. The same as the meditators do when they avoid psychedelics. You enjoy it this way, and that's why you do it. Nothing more to it. Again, you are no better than the ant, and the ant will get to the Ultimate much faster than you are. I would say their methodology is more effective than yours, and man, the depths, you have no idea! That level of consciousness you will not reach until you do the same as the ant does. -
If you want a solid stage yellow perspective on this follow Destiny's commentary, he does a good job revealing stage green biases and bringing it to systems thinking.

That which resists the ego, is the ego. That which condemns, is the condemner. This is why Love is so effective as a practice. Because, the ego is that which is in control. If it fears itself, then that will simply create more ego. If it loves itself, the ego must let go of itself, to love. The issue here is, you have only one vehicle as an ego, and that is the ego. You can use it to drive towards Love or Fear. So, the practise doesn't have to be anything but love. -

But this is what we do as a society. We test it on others, those who fear, those who cannot make the choice consciously. We ought to make the choice ourselves, it will cause less suffering, and it will cause growth. -

Be careful that you do not fall into the trap of wanting to make your fear of fear go away. "I do not want to be so afraid of the miseries of life! I want it to go away!". See, that very fear, that very suffering created by the attempt to run away, that is what can be accepted. You accept your vulnerability completely, that misery might come to you, and that it is okay to fear it, that it is okay to feel terror in the face of your Creation. That when you are tortured, it is okay to lose your mind, to be in agony, to be not okay with it. However, you have already accepted it. That is fundamental. You have already accepted all of this suffering fully, and your current experience is evidence of that. Your acceptence was so great and ultimate, that you would forget your own acceptance of it, so that the acceptance could be complete. Your shock, your fear, your suffering, that is your acceptance. See, it is both counter intuitive. Because to escape suffering, you must accept it. But when you accept suffering completely, you will completely surrender to it, as you already have. There is no beginning, there is no end. -
