  1. @Azrael I was wondering about you haven't been posting for sometime. And you also changed your screen name. Always thought your posts were quite insighful, you came across as a serious seeker. Thank you for sharing and congratulations !
  2. That's what Leo was also telling in today's video describing his death experience... when the body-mind melts away, all there's left in eternity is 'I Am'.
  3. Yes, I drink and cook in alkaline water only.
  4. Yes, but not as main source (organ meat is). My dog is very selective as far as veggies and roots go, so experiment with yours. Mine would eat cooked carrots, spinach, sweet potato (but not white/yellow potato), onion, peas, cabbage, and he loves turmeric root. When he was a puppy, he ate fresh fruit like apples too, but not anymore. They do need heart healthy diet at any age, though, because dogs in general are prone to heart desease as they age. I also give him alkaline water only - it nutrilizes acidity and flushes out toxins while hyderates body.
  5. I know an awakened guy who shared with me he also got sore balls , so go figure.
  6. I like a no-bs pragmatic cut' dry kind of approach to teaching. Flowery words with poetic undertone have never resonated with me. Language doesn't have complete ability to express/describe one's knowing. So people do what they can to communicate it, including the use of metaphors, adjectives, etc. Teachers who use straightforward method of communication are often misunderstood, but they are the ones who will help you cut through all the flowery stuff and right to the core of the matter. You just have to be open to it.
  7. Hi @Abi I've been moving in that direction recently and my levels of peace and happiness have been steadily increasing. No TV, no phone, no radio, lots of solitude with meditation and contemplation, wholesome diet, excercise, time in nature, no emotionally charged relationships. Got off Facebook last year, then was pulled back in...it's a distraction, so it will have to go too. As far as YT, I only watch stuff on self-actualization and what would help me grow spiritually. I also switched jobs last year and am doing now what brings me fulfilment. I love being alone, there is no lack in just being. Sounds like you have a good plan. Keep us posted on your progress
  8. Cult leaders start out mildly, testing waters, so to speak, and slowly and grooming following. At the beginning some of John's posts seemed ok, but as time went on, they became more weird. That's how mind control works - subtly yet methodically and persistently. Part of self-actualization is about being able to see through others' bs.
  9. This raises a question about selfies. Here's my most recent one - a magnolia bloom out in the yard:
  10. Belief is a construct of thoughts -> thoughts are energy forms with illusiory content -> so beliefs are basically a lie -> lie is opposite of truth
  11. @Lou7 When you're self-actualized, you don't mind what other people think of you and are free from opinions of others. You are here to live your life, not seek approval of anyone
  12. @The Universe "If you wish to find the Truth, 'you' must vanish... It's only a matter of time" - Mooji
  13. @The Universe It's like for a sand castle to seek sand. You are a sand castle in a land of sand... looking for sand
  14. @Sri McDonald Trump Maharaj Psychpaths live in great illusion, enlightened live in great reality. Enlightened psychopath sounds more like an oxymoron, though would not be completely impossible
  15. I think you're confusing me with one of the girls in the Arj Barker's Sickest Buddhist video
  16. This is deep stuff. You have to be either a psychopath or enlightened to accept it
  17. I'm from Europe originally. Speak the same first language as Leo
  18. @Paintballer Yes, they like to quote scriptures and Bible-thumb a lot. And they don't recognize Christian mystics as authority. Last night we were talking about open-mindedness. I send them this quote
  19. Good morning and happy Saturday, everyone! What would you say to a friend who is relentlessly trying to convert you back to Christianity? I was in Protestant church for over 2 decades before I got awakened about a year and a half ago. We have had discussions about what true spirituality is, God, ego, consciousness, belief systems, etc. I know they are coming from a place of concern and care thinking one's eternal salvation is at stake without believing in Jesus. In my turn, I wish them to see through the illusion of 'self' to be truly liberated. I intend to let them read this thread, so if you'd like to contribute with your insights, please post your comments below. Thank you
  20. @Martin123 I'll have to try that, thank you
  21. Her name is Shannon. I'll get the number if you're into full-figured ladies (pun not intended, we work at a financial institution)
  22. @username It's not an experience, it's a shift in perspective. You are beyond the limits of the physical body, infinitely. You are the container of all that exists, boundless. You are no-thing-ness in which every-thing appears and disappears. You are IT right this very moment manifesting yourself as 'username'.
  23. @username Have you tried Leo's guided self-inquiry in his Enlightenment part 3 video? I got awakened while doing it.
  24. @electroBeam To me it means 'having physical eyes opened doesn't guarantee that one sees. The path is to develop spiritual seeing'.
