  1. @onacloudynight Meditation will help to calm the monkey-mind. To self-realize, I'm not sure. The Absolute can only be realized from the point of no-self.
  2. @onacloudynight One of the words for enlightenment is self-realization. It's only through realizing your true nature as no-self (self-inquiry is designed to help with that) that would lead to realizing the Absolute.
  3. Not sure which one is more hilarious here - JP or Matt Kahn XD
  4. @Scarecrow I prefer reading only paper books. Kindle never really worked for me. Keep penning
  5. As someone who doesn't use psychedelics myself, but read about them, with proper use (meaning done for consciousness work in a safe environment), rather than causing 'damage', they're supposed to help slowly de-activate the 'monkey mind'. And that would be impossible without altering brain chemistry to some extend. If one decides to take them, do it mindfully, gradually, and along with developing good lifestyle habits like healthy diet, regular excercise, meditation, etc. In other words, consider the whole body-mind connection approach.
  6. My newest and first singed piece of artwork
  7. @Sri McDonald Trump Maharaj LOL That coffin at the end of day for him is right
  8. @egoless The concept of evil/hell assumes duality. And since the Absolute (non-duality) is free of paradigms/concepts, thus just what is.
  9. @Nahm Thank you for the kind words, means a lot
  10. I arrange real flowers for folks for different occasions, and just recently got into learning the art of paper crafting. Here's my latest creation - Lilies and Roses
  11. @Charlotte You're welcome We've all been and are still there. Use it as a tool, not a distraction, to build your consciousness.
  12. Sounds like what Eckhart Tolle also had which led him to enlightenment. Because they listen to the conventional system that tells them this state needs to be deemed bad (when in fact it's threatening to the system), And then start loading you with prescription psych drugs that brings them tons of profit. If people live in constant state of bliss, peace, and love, how would the Big Psych/Pharma be makng their billions? Thus brainwashing propaganda. Nothing new.
  13. By realizing you're on the hero's journey and that there will be times when you feel lonely and misunderstood. That's all part of growing your cnsciousness in a deeply unconscious scociety. Don't expect most people agree with and support you, just do your work silently and those who're attuned to the Truth, will respond.
  14. @The Monk I quit diary a few years ago, the only thing I would still occsionaly enjoy is good aged cheese and some quality butter. I love different kinds of nut milk and make my own coconut milk. Coconuts are plenty and inexpensive here. I also use nut milk in my rice, buckwheat, quinoa cereals, smoothies, and in baking. They work as good or bettre than animal milk and cause no harm to your health.
  15. @Cudin In one of his recent videos Leo suggested a term 'actualized nihilism', so what you're talking about in OP would be a self-realized properly integrated being. There are ways to properly integrate the ego, so it's more of a tool and less of a burden/distraction. Ken Wilber's work in particular comes to mind on the subject, but many other teachers talk about it in different ways too.
  16. You can and you will <3
  17. You're on the right track You might want to read this
  18. I would say they can, if their ego isn't properly integrated.
  19. No one is going to ban you for saying this The whole purpose of meditation is to help tame the 'monkey mind' and raise your awareness. More active the 'monkey mind', more still time it might require to calm it. Everyone is different.
  20. @Pelin Salt retains water, so it's quite normal not to have to pee right away. The salt water you consumed should have come out of your butt instead (called butt pee), while cleansing the gut debris out. If you didn't butt pee after drinking all this salt water, you might have stopped up digestion. Repeat weekly. You'll see what I'm talking about after 2-3 sessions. And feel free to PM me anytime if you have any questions
  21. Being content with 'what is' is an art in itself. Few people have truly mastered it. I read the book a while ago and it has really good points and insights. Glad you mentioned it
  22. Dalai stayed at home, but this is my llama
