@Dsteller I'd say it's fine to offer guidance, just make it clear to your ex you wish not to get involved romantically again if that's what your intentions are. Damsels in distress are usually bad news and relationships with them get toxic pretty quick. High amounts of dopamine and other 'feel good' chemicals get released. Then those crush into postpartum. High quality consciousness doesn't fluctuate at the whim of brain chemicals like that.
