  1. @Ibn Sina Yeah typical family cult mentality, and you're the 'black sheep'. Google SpartanLifeCoach Richard Grannon YT video 'Why My Family Hates Me' and his other vids on being a 'black sheep' in the family. He's one of the best expert on narcissism and PTSD. Will give you a better understanding of the dynamics in your family.
  2. @Ibn Sina Your parents see your paying attention to someone else as a threat. It's a control thing. You should be able to talk to whoever you want without parental interference. If you still live under their roof and are supported by them, then they might feel entitled to you, which makes it more difficult for you to assert yourself/stand up to them. Typical Stage Blue family dynamic.
  3. @winterknight I watched it last night on YT (new subscriber :-) Have you considered giving an interviewed on Buddha At The Gas Pump? It's a podcast where the host Rick Archer talks to enlightened folk about their journey, insights, and books they wrote. Rick is not awake himself, but he is a serious seeker and his list of guests is quite impressive. Would love to see you on there too
  4. @AlldayLoop Yeah sounds like he was a seeker who was aware what was coming when the mind-body construct is no more - he would be enlightened, and his last words are evident of that.
  5. @Western Buddha Live plants are much better, they purify the air and are pleasant to look at. You can google which indoor plants are best for that.
  6. You start by developing a millionaire mindset first - abundance mentality, positive thinking, goal setting and reaching, pushing through fear, not giving up at failure, visualizations, self-motivation and self-discipline, strong work ethic, etc. And 10,000+ hrs of mastering your trade... and the millions are yours
  7. @AlldayLoop Yeah the pressure was too much. He also had a family and 6 kids to take care of. Gone too soon, My Mom was in the movies as a child/teen and after her first major breakthrough, my grandmother pulled her out of the acting business. She was concerned my Mom wouldn't have normal life if she becomes a professional actress. I think it was a good decision on my Grandma's part. Here's a movie that won a major prize of its time, my Mom plays the main character's little sister. Her part is from 39:55 min - 41:30 min We're originally from Ukraine, so the movie is in Russian language
  8. I agree. The pressure of being in the demanding entertainment business and expectations of the idealizing fans must be enormous. Stars never have it easy, and Aurora is not an exception.
  9. @Marinus Thank you for sharing your inner work findings. So you developed Anxious-Preoccupied attachment to female figures in your life (charts below). You want to work towards the Secure attachment style now. Check out Briana MacWilliams YT vids, she's my favorite coach on attachment styles and how to become more Secure attached
  10. @Western Buddha Diet is very important for one's mental wellbeing. They say that your gut is your second brain. There are foods that you want to avoid that cause inflammation and are toxic to your brain and body in general, and other foods that you want to make part of your daily diet - the ones rich in antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, good fats, etc. Search other threads/posts on here that will give you more feedback. Here is one that I found that might be of help
  11. @Finland3286 He spoke this of himself too?
  12. If you don't do extensive inner work on yourself, you'll keep attracting/being attracted to the same kind of person. After this girl there will be another one with same underlying issues, and on and on. Spare yourself frustration and do some serious shadow work first. When you become healthier and happier yourself, you'll attract same.
  13. @nistake I grew up in a very nurturing and supportive family, so I always have that point of reference whenever times get challenging . They say one's formative years are the most crucial in brain development. However, I found that de-conditioning myself was still necessary, the layers were deep and stuff that was coming up as I was doing shadow work was surprising, to say the least. This is a life-long endeavor, even after awakening you'll have shadow work to do to become more uninhibited, free-spirited, joyful, and unafraid.
  14. @inFlow Trying to please your partner and watch them get off regardless of how you're feeling at the moment might bring that zing back. Stay in flow (haha) during the action, focus on her, and see how it goes
  15. @inFlow Been there, it's a phase. Once you go full circle, the desire for sex will come back, even stronger than ever. All those raw sensations, etc. will emerge as part/manifestations of the Absolute. Embody it.

  17. @Marinus I would say listen to your gut. If it doesn't feel right, then that should be a clue. Love should be easy and if you feel struggle with figuring this out this early already, perhaps that's a sign you two are not a good match, something is not clicking and the energy is not flowing. Also, watch out for a push/pull dynamic and mixed signals - not a good sign and you would only be wasting your time if you let it keep going like this. Excuses are just that. If she doesn't accept your invitation for the next date, I'd say move on.
  18. These 2 songs, The Seed and I Went Too Far, are actually the songs that launched her career and made her famous
  19. @RickyBalboa You're welcome
  20. @RickyBalboa I read a book awhile ago called 'If Men Could Talk' by Alon Gratch. One of the study cases he discusses in the book is about a man who was obsessed with woman's breasts. He traced this tendency all the way back to his childhood. Perhaps this would be a helpful read for you. If you live in the States, they should have it available at a public library. https://www.amazon.com/If-Men-Could-Talk-Heres/dp/0316178616/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1DUCMA2Z9FLUJ&keywords=if+men+could+talk&qid=1565053026&s=gateway&sprefix=If+
  21. You're welcome, knowledge is power
