Agree. I prefer to use 'what is' for that reason, because it doesn't assume a pull for a location. -

'What is' is all there is and you are it. What more fulfilment is needed? Yes, being aware of your existential nature helps 'see' this, but even without this understanding, you're still existentially complete and 'fulfilled', because Being is infinite and self- contained and you embody it. -

Saw this on the sidewalk the other day. Fits beautifully with this discussion -

@kapi88 I agree, NLP can be a powerful tool in helping rewire the subconscious mind. Interestingly, though it's called neuro-linguistic, it also implements action as a technique. Here's a simple little chart I came across recently that can be of great benefit' if used mindfully and consistently -

@mandyjw Yes. It's also interesting how Paul Mccartney's relationship with wife Linda was so different from Lennon's, almost the opposite. -

This song could also be a reflection of his inner subconscious struggle with his feminine side. -

@iceprincess We see John's view on women in this song. A mind saturated on weed and childhood traumas. The line "Do something about it" sounds encouraging, though -

Well, studies show the centennials around the world all consume animal protein a couple times a week in moderation. So as long as the meat comes from a healthy animal and is minimally processed, it should be ok to eat. Besides our bodies need certain vitamins and amino acids that we can only get from meat. Just learning from the longest living people in the world

@Vipassana About once a month I do a saline water cleanse/flush that yields same results (poopwise) in less amount of time. I usually do it as preparation for my solid food/juice fasting. Haven't done it in awhile, this is a good reminder/motivator to do one soon before the holidays hit Great journal, keep up the good work!

@Someone here Great thread and a good example of how Awareness has become aware of itself, and also how it takes an illusion to fight an illusion -
@Carl-Richard Yes, the Beatles were way ahead of their time

Not if both reality and love = what is, then it's not made up at all

Life is a joke in a sense that it inherently lacks seriousness. The seriousness was created by the mind as a mechanism of survival. When you transcend the ego, the seriousness goes out of the window. So I would say life is more of an intelligent design at play that most beings still don't understand. A joke implies a mischievous or sarcastic aspects to existence and those would still be largely attributes of the ego -
Natasha replied to Harmony342's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Harmony342 By shifting perspectives from mind to no-mind, from conceptual to Being. The shift occurs when the area of your brain responsible for the sense of self gets deactivated. There are different ways to deactivate that part of your brain intentionally - psychedelics, meditation, self-inqiry, etc. Those who had the shift unintentionally usually have had an event/events (likely traumatic in nature), a substance, mental condition, etc that triggered that deactivation. And it also could be a combination of things mentioned above. Can you look at this picture and NOT see a pipe as a conceptual construct? "This is not a pipe" - Rene Magritte -
I have a gym routine 3 times a week after my work in the office. I also get up about every couple hours to stretch and walk - down and up the hallway, restroom, upstairs-downstairs, lunchroom, other departments to say a quick hello to someone, and take a 20 min walk outside during my lunch break. We also have a small gym in the building, but I prefer to go to my LA Fitness one, because I like to see more ppl around exercising, larger variety of equipment, the atmosphere, and the music. Yes, I wear glasses that are screened for blue light. Big difference from when I didn't wear them. My eyes don't get sore and strained anymore like they used to. For those who live in the States, Walmart carries them in their Pharmacy section, but I'm sure you can find them also online and other local stores. I wear them even when I use my cell phone too. Massages - I have regular massages (full body or just neck-shoulder-back) to help break tension from office job. They do help a lot, actually, and I love how my body feels afterwards. I drink lots of clean water and don't consume anything heavy for lunch, mostly fruit/nuts, or green smoothies. I also try not to engage in too much small talk that is common for office folk. Those tend to drain me. I don't take part in any office drama and don't take anything others do/say petsonally. That lowers the stress levels to a minimum. So overall I have to say my office job experience has been fairly good considering all the things I do mentioned above.

Does anyone know what foods would be considered/qualify as high vibrational? I'm guessing any plant-based food with high live enzyme content, fresh, organic, raw, fermented, algae (as in Chlorella and Spirulina), etc. What about organic grains, nuts, meat, quality dairy, eggs, or high in glucose like sugar cane or honey? Or cooked foods like baked potato, steamed rice? I noticed how different foods I consume resonate with me differently. I'm generally a healthy eater and am currently exploring how my relationship with food contributes to my sense of happiness and well-Being, and in particular raising vibrational frequencies. Thanks for the info

@DrewNows I agree. It's a two-way thing, give and take in equal doses in order for it to work
-
@DrewNows People want to give you what you want/need, but they have to know what those things are first. Others can't read your mind , you would just kind of have to put it out there for them Make a list of your wants/needs and we'll go over it here or in PM

Natasha replied to Leilani's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Leilani Yes, peace that transcends ALL understanding/the mind. But you're not giving anything up, you're transcending the conceptual reality, shifting perspective from limited to limitless. -
@Rilles That's fine. Just be aware of the energy dynamics between the two of you and work on your self-love and boundaries. Staying in a state of cognitive dissonance can really play trick on your psyche in in the long run. Also, read on trauma bonding that you might be taking as love towards your friend. Co-dependent love is more about control and is rooted in trauma. Very sneaky stuff indeed. So stay informed and psychologically equipped. Knowledge is power.
