  1. Here Adya talks about the 3 stages of awakening
  2. Agreed, wrote an article on this the other day http://davidkloos.weebly.com/main/the-shift-of-the-internet-drugs-honesty-and-love Also, recently 300k (+100k on a dutch vid site) people saw Nellie peaking through another dimension Stuff like this is creating a huuuge shift, the funny thing is is that's it's creeping slowly, but the newer generation are way way different, muuch more openminded and deconditioned (though still largely los, but you sort of need to let everything go before the truth can be revealed).
  3. He knows his ego is a phony show but still can't accept the whole deal (including the fact that he has suppressed emotions) and is in a state of make belief that he's further than he actually is. I've been there.
  4. Yes because presence and truth is contagious and very confronting for darkness. I think a snowball effect is in place.
  5. Singing is an utterly amazing tool for expansion by the way
  6. It can be challenging to release all the trauma and attachment, just be patient.
  7. Bashar mentioned this too.
  8. How much have you done?
  9. Thanks bro, 'Looking back, the thoughts and fears around this substance that I had was way worse than it was to actually take it.' Nice. "He who accounts all things easy will have many difficulties" - Lao Zi' Maybe this quote is kind of ironic in hindsight now
  10. Of course, all tools are symbols that you belief works, and thus they work, some just have a collective consciousness reality to it, but you can create everything out of the Self with enough realization. But paradoxically the Self already also creates the world as it is, and you come full circle again.
  11. Everyone will die, or change. Why would that be something you don't want to accept?
  12. Why not just be honest about your beliefs? Jeez
  13. In a sense there is no physical addiction ever because physical reality exists in the mind, all addictions are psychological but the body can go into withdrawal.
  14. I think it's great every 1-2 weeks, that's how I like it now. Great tool. I think twice a week should be the maximum for pretty much everyone, because you can also integrate the states into your life and experience it naturally, that's where you want to go.
  15. I also think the misconception that some 'big deep transcendence of entire ego system and the release of all conditioning' that should come after some simple understanding that you should get after a few hours of self-inquiry and listening to a few satsangs is a perverted misunderstanding, created by immature lazy unconscious teachers still mesmerized by money and validation, slobbered down by impatient westerners that think their spiritual transcendence should come as quickly as they can swallow down a big mac.
  16. I don't there is too much of a narrow minded view of enlightened/not enlightened. I.e. I watched maybe a 100 + videos of Buddha at the Gas pump, many of the guests had decades of experience, and they all tend to say the deepening and enlightening just doesn't really end, and paradoxically you are already enlightened also. So I think monks with decades of experience really all have a pretty high degree of freedom and realization to them. Just look at them, monks with even a few years of experience already tend to have an amazing presence.
  17. Yeah, happens all the time to me as well. It's great. Once I observed how it's literally tension leaving the body.
  18. I find labeling very effective to break stubborn ego cycles. Just sit as awareness, and every time a thought comes up label it as 'thought' and continue sitting, set a timer and go. Because 'I am stuck in the story' is just the story, not some inherent truth.
  19. Can interpret this as 'crying wolf' in the way that any 'cry', as in complaining, is a crying wolf because it's the ego keeping on insisting it's thought stream, and therefor no one (literally, also the One), can't save you because you are too busy with yourself. At the same time, paradoxically it is very important to accept your pains as real instead of suppressing them as unimportant or not real of course, so they can actually be released.
  20. They are purged automatically as you come closer to the true free self with your regular meditation/mf practice. But it's good to work at it from both ways (reiki, massage, working with the voice, love making, therapy and of course psychedelics).
  21. " They can bring a lot of good things to your life but they can also harm you forever." Eh no.
