  1. It's not so much about me or them, looking at their faces opens my heart, and it's a very easy exercise as apposed to meditation sometimes, I find it incredibly useful, also the light of the universe (of your computer screen, pictures) also is God/intelligence, it's also not an accident that I think all religions have meditation practice along with worship in them. Love you Leo
  2. It's just spirituality on steroids so you need the same basic info, which in short is, just be and see that everything you can observe is not you and does not touch your being, so be open and let go of it all (or embracing all, same thing) by doing nothing.
  3. He's great to watch, made many appearances on talk shows lately. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=russell+brand&sp=EgIIBFAU Great eccentric and confident, pretty wise and he's staying honest and humble enough about his own sort of flaws, really cool
  4. I don't know, I haven't drank in years, and I must say I was never impressed, but I wouldn't be sure about it having pd value, given some people can be more easily emotional while on it, though I don't have any experience with it.
  5. From the girl from NeuroSoup on youtube
  6. Emotional suppression are stored in contracted muscles
  7. I did inappropiate stuff on mushrooms when I was younger, like pissing on a festival hang out are but contrary to doing it because I thought it was so fun (well maybe there was some part of that, definitely some curiosity), I actually was still mostly acting from a subconscious fear to prove myself being a bad ass to the machine elves or God. But you're always lucid enough to think just fine in my experience, but just don't underestimate your subconscious bullshit attachments and ego you've build up which may sprout a lot of weird thinking/impulses (which of course, you can decide to follow or not), therefor I would say really stick to low doses if you want to go public.
  8. The intellectual layer, probably especially for us westerners, is probably the stickiest ego layer to let go off, from a young age we were taught it's all about getting it. But this process will show you all of your thoughts are sort futile, and not yours, and especially regarding the ultimate nature of reality they are really futile, the quicker you can accept this the better. And it didn't do any good or fun to begin with, you'll be much happier without it, really.
  9. Who needs friends when you can fall in love with your computer screenMooji, Ramana Maharshi, Ad Oostendorp, Naropa, Martin W. Ball, Rupert Spira Papaji, David Spero, Adyashanti, Chris Celine, Nirgun John, Shinzen Young
  10. The science is not clear, it comes from a gross misinterpretation of the Libet experiment, which just shows that: When you are asked to press a button at X moment, a part of the brain goes into readiness potential before that moment.. So you get ready - the brain gets ready, nothing new here. In fact, of course, they could also chose not to press the button still. Aside from that, yeah, no separate you exists as a separate intelligence that has it's own separate course (or is there also? Who knows?) Because there is intelligence and creativity of the Self, what you are. - Anyways the real solution is to abandon this egoic mind field full of self deluded importance that brings nothing but misery and to enjoy the Self and love this joyful play for what it is, a gift to enjoy. Not some place where you gotta get trophies and struggle and fight for love and happiness.
  11. Practice self-inquiry/do nothing. It will stir up fear/thoughts, see it, observe it (and thus know that you are not it, you are beyond it), and just be as you are. And remember, as long as something is only true as long as you think it, it's not really true.
  12. Maybe 10 if you want to be sure it's pretty light, but 15 should be fine. Also ultimately there are no bad vibes though, it's all one energy, only contraction (fear) creates disharmony and suffering (but not even for the real self). But paradoxically there are more harmonious vibes yeah, but it's got to know ultimately you are good what ever occurs.
  13. Makes no difference, 15 gram truffles are about 3 grams dried mushrooms, it's about the psilocybin. It depends on how much stability and wisdom you have about your mind, your emotions and consciousness on how much you can take. Given most people do sort of fine on these things even when they are unspiritual, having some understanding of this ordeal and some meditative experience should make it fine, but do not underestimate. - The most important thing is the wisdom/stability, aside from that a good guide(+friend) can be really helpful of course, but they maybe rare to find. After that I would say, just make sure you are in a place where you feel comfortable, in the sense that you probably won't be bothered and can feel free to be emotional and make sound. But you've got nothing to lose and nothing that can hurt you ultimately. Remember also you can only really think craziness, see 'craziness' but your being always remains balanced no matter what.
  14. I was always pretty big on the we have a free will thing, and got annoyed by claims saying things are predetermined or whatever. And while I still belief in choice, free will: I mean after all there's creativity and intelligence from source, are you are that (and not that). I can say I'm beginning to enjoy the fact that I have absolutely no control over this shit. Keep the credits, I don't want em anymore, it was empty anyways, being more of a nothing is much more nice
  15. Sounds like a successful trip to me. You see what your problem was right? Thoughts, thoughts, thoughts and believing in them. You were shown your mind, the deeper part of it, related to death. If you want to be free from it you have to learn to let go of these thoughts and this identity that was build around it, just like everyone else, which happens through learning to love, be emotionally open, studying wisdom, introspection(self-inquiry), meditation, mindfulness, being with a good teacher. You can try and do it without standing still, being passionate in life and in love, but if that would be done be done (for a large part) to avoid yourself, life will do what it takes to get you to pay attention, out of love, for your own sake.
  16. How many masters have you met? Some may be weird and be provocative though, and some assholes may claim they are masters while they are just assholes, but all masters will be extraordinary loving and you will see that, hopefully.
  17. Why would death be a negative thing, especially in this context it could mean you're getting close to having (a part of) your negative ego die. There are certainly no coincidences, but there's also no meaning to any of it ultimately, it's all fun and games. - But our dreams I think generally represent our mind structures, and can thus be a good discovery tool about ourselves, and negative dreams are super great to let go off our fears. By the way I find that generally the universe is very responsive to requests of wanting to face your shit in your dreams that night ^^
  18. Getting a teacher can be quite important for this reason, someone whose gone through to the end and whom can comfort you and show you things are just very fine. And stop believing these pesky thoughts, I really like thinking: 'thoughts thoughts thoughts' at times to remind myself of the stupidity and unreality of thinking.
  19. 'An enlightened person can do everything an unenlightened person can do. In fact, there is zero difference between them. ' There also is a difference. Words are inadequate here but I still like to say that yes, there may be a part of enlightenment which is realizing no-self which has nothing to do with behavior but you cannot ignore that there is an aspect to this process which is the embodiment of unconditional love which comes from feeling so intimately connected with other beings that you wouldn't dream of doing something that probably wasn't in their best interest and within the realms of their conscious wishes that you can serve. But 'probably' is key here and just as tricky to talk about, you never know why things happen and they might serve someone more than you can think, but I think you can say the probability for less suffering and a quicker awakening comes through being as compassionate and loving for all as you can be, surely I prefer a world like that. - But at the end of the day, don't worry about this and go within, remember your own innate goodness and that will help you remember life's innate goodness.
  20. At some point, perhaps, if you want to. But Look at near death experiences and how people experience the bliss of subtle realms. Look at ego death. Look at natural life. Only emotionally suppressed humans experience the greatest deal of suffering. AND STILL life is generally experienced as beautiful here for a large part. And this is just one phase in our evolution as a species. And awakened beings speak about how much better life is, so much grander than the best unawake moments. So trust yourself, trust life, you know you are good at heart. And can you honestly say life hasn't been beautiful for you too? I hope you may find this as useful as I find it, it's epic
