I wouldn't push anything, and I can't really comment because I don't know enlightenment... But I think it would be a good idea just to gently 'teach' or correct or remind them to the interconnectivity/unity of things, why not? this isn't about dogma, it's just the truth. And society will also feed them with information that may not be so truthful Or if there is really pain/suffering or fear, maybe just ask, 'are you the pain? or the body? if you are watching the body?' -

The problem is, you don't actually know if any of that is true, just because it feels that way, 'I leak energy', doesn't mean that's actually what's going, though if you start believing that, you might create that effect, the opposite of placebo, the negative expectations of nocebo. (and in truth, no energy really ever goes anywhere, as it's all created from nothing right now). Oke, delusional people, ye, that can happen, like you were, and we all can be to some degree, that's why 'not knowing' is highly talked about in legit spiritual info, in my own experience from back in the days from being delusional after psy's, it was for me having to do with wanting to be special, or wanting to experience 'special things', but it was still created by my own choice/mind. Experiencing the psychic realities of others, yeah that is also real in some cases, I think that mostly happens only when you actively put your attention into or onto them, but if that happens that's something that you can just let it flow through you and just watch and don't be attached, you'll be fine, but again, you have to be honest if you're not making shit up to hide your own anxiety and act like you are being given it, and are bound to it. - So that's the gist of it I think, you may experience strange things and you can go into panic mode, think 'you have messed up' and are a victim of the imagination of a 'thought body', or you just remain calm, Trust God, don't make assumptions and be honest with yourself. - If notice yourself to be involved in psychic phenomena, then I would just recommend you learn to know God because of it, because the collective 'higher' light that is called that, or is Godly to us, is surely there to help us and that should solve all this 'energy' problems just through honest prayer. I think you can actually notice that people that experience this energetic stuff negatively tend to be people who don't want so much to do with God or self-realization/surrender so much, but are more interested in being a 'cool shaman warrior' or a 'mystical healer' or something like that. -

Yeah nah, sure conscious experience can deepen, and maybe you can see things in people that can help them, but people's beliefs are not real, just like 'insights', By the way, I was just writing this, speaking of a trip, and to hugely contradict myself:) Shunyamurti's blurt on psychedelics seems so false I do agree that often people who use psychedelics can get hung up on false views, they have a (forced) glimpse and think they've seen it all, understandably so given a (first) glimpse can be so huge, I was one of them And that psychedelics can cause some extra turbulence, as the spiritual path it self just also can often do; feeling emotional and apparent mental disturbance.. But 'frying the system', if he said that at all, I think I remember he said in the BATGP interview 'a destroyed subtle body', or some crap like that.. that I find just weird and wrong. The subtle body is just like thought, if it can even be said it exists at all.. a dream body, tied to thoughts-feelings, and ultimately the 'physical body' as well, though there may be some difference in regards to collective reality or something, making the apparent physical body a bit more sturdy or something But the dream body can't really be hurt, (again if it even can be said to exist at all), it can be anxious or disturbed, and cause physical chaos or disturbance in the body, (so in that sense, yes, it may have been '''damaged'', but not really at all, to think of that body it self as 'broken' just sounds like spooky bs) Oh well, as Shunyamurti does rightly say: 'Silence, the path and the goal'. -

?? What insights could there be gained after 'hitting nonduality', there are no insights regarding 'the truth' afaik, except maybe to say that all is a perception Insights to me sound more like only being relevant to our personal life, like i.e. : 'oh shit, all this heroin I'm shooting is really messing up my life and that of my mom's, oh that's really not what I want' -

I've heard before and you also said, enlightenment is the end of the glimpses, but you must also still experience them? I would imagine, as dream/sleep cycles continue and are still different states of consciousness? Because to me, these glimpses at night seem like their own domain of reality, just different from my waking life. If so, is there a difference between as to how you first experience them? Do yo - Also how do you relate to happiness now? Is your care for it less, as is the deep peace it's own sort of happiness? And were you able to expect the reality of that peace(/happiness) before hand, was it an experience of a new discovery? -

Practice honesty, meditate sober, and see how much you can stay awake during sleep. -

Except by far most people can take it without negative energetic side effects afaik, or negative effects in general. But it does remain a forced opening, you can say, so integrate well. -
The idea that there is 'no right or wrong' is often said as a revelation in this sort of study. But is that really true? It's easy to say and easy to grasp: 'yeah, it's just mental labeling!'.. But is it? If you see someone being obviously very mean, that also has some sort of instant (gut or heart) pain reaction to it I think you can say there also is an energetic knowing to our thoughts-actions, that may be subtle often and requires honest and conscious self-awareness to know as to whether what we do is harmonious or not, right or wrong, though including gray areas (Thought of it because of this video, pretty interesting)

Yeah, there's a lot in there Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. Corinthians 12:12-13 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:3 https://www.biblestudytools.com/topical-verses/unity-bible-verses/ -

Always nice to see the Christmas spirit in action, tbh meditating in the cold is a pretty cool idea no pun intended -

Maybe seek some solitude or monastery time for a while, such a shift might not be the easiest to integrate in our society, as is shown. It's just that your inner 'WOW' is very visible, you won't look like a freak forever, at least not as obviously as now I think Or get some sunglasses ^^ -

Maybe suffering doesn't end, though it may do when identification ends (idk, not enlightened), even if it's only through empathy with other beings or w/e. It still doesn't mean life is bad overall, even though some moments may really suck (apparently) (which also bring release, growth eventually), though I know it's crazy how life can seem bad overall when the minds is fighting, but you have had really good moments (and this may be always one of course), one thing I found useful to acknowledge, when such a suffering episode is going on, is that the mind is constantly TALKING -

Yeah, the meaninglessness or no rules can be quite a hit on the mind, and I don't feel/know I am enlightened, so I can't speak on that, but as for relative happiness, I find these guidelines to be useful. In short you can say, respect and build your house on God, your love, your awakenings. 1. I chose to value and respect this body-life I've been given. //Use it for the highest values, to Love, play, discover, experience the path of awakening. 2. I chose not to murder my life or sentient (human) beings: //To not cause unnecessary pain, to respect other people's will and life, and because I don't know what happens after death (as no one knows). 3.I choose not to worry about things beyond my responsibility. //Giving my worries or pains, to God/Silence, which always works. -

Yeah I also got into this through drugs and Terrence McKenna 7 years ago, held the 'machine elves' up to a high standard and still do but not as an authority, I've also had sober times of awakening with them. Never the less, my life is not about them, I don't tend to really think of 'them' anymore, it's one aspect of manifest reality, they are not really a separate domain of intelligence, it's all part of the one life flow, coming from (deep)Self. - And to me, it's not really practical to think of them in my daily life, it's the same as playing in real life but more with imagination/prayer, I have not much interest in it, doesn't tend to help my mental health, and it's happens (best) on it's own anyways. Learning to be in silence is actually more fulfilling and peaceful, and useful for me. And coming into 'empty' universal consciousness creates deeper awakenings than previously seemed possible, albeit there might be apparently less magic and stuff, which might actually be really nice and useful as well. (but people that go through that are still also people and also still no authority:) -

I think just share what works for you, and to the degree that you can live that, that's the degree to which they can see proof. But if you try to preach more than you can live, it's perhaps just one frustration telling another frustration to be less frustrated which just creates more frustration ^ ^ But there are many things in live that can be relatively helpful that are not Silence, like positive thinking, exercise etc. -
AlwaysBeNice replied to ZZZZ's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I would say, after a significant opening, take a (long) break or stop, see how the experience will come back into your life naturally in time (it will), and then you can through just stillness go even deeper sober and know u don't need anything anymore. I think if you do use more, you unnecessarily risk more imbalance in your daily life, people often already have a challenging time on the path of intensity without using anything, not that that is very different per se, but a mind that experiences it after 'drugs' can be more scared, and same for our culture, and arguably it is a 'forced opening', but it's special in and of it self, just don't rush things you know, just take it slow. -
AlwaysBeNice replied to Aaron p's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It doesn't really matter because it will depend on how ready you are. So you can't really waste time meditating for that matter because it always helps, and coming deeper into silence is always peaceful in and of itself, probably easier seen without a goal seeking mind. -

I think, along with practice of just being still, is seeing how you don't have to think (most of the time) and that thoughts are (semi-)baseless (sound) or bodily reactions, not you. -

To each their own, I've had some experience with therapy but found it to be not really useful, it wasn't in depth at all, of course this can differ, though self-inquiry/meditation/advaita study helped immensely and immediately with both psychosis and depression. Not against therapy, emotional healing etc. not all. By the way, you can also use dream therapy, ask God before you go to sleep that you want some.
