I have to agree with Bill in some way. I wouldn't call getting laid primitive but in life you've to make a few decisions which shape your life drastically. Instead of what self-help and society are telling us you can't have it all. And that is a good thing, because in the end so much things are meaningless for oneself on a relative level. But if that need for many girls is authentic to you, go for it. I guess teaching about programming, working on social apps/projects, creating a link between the club scene and your profession may be possibilities.

@Ibn Sina For me your comment is so far off, I'm kind of curious if you ever befriended a girl or even talked to girl. You adress so much resentment that I also don't know where to start. Maybe let's start here: E.g. Did you hear about the kurdish peshmerga women brigade? They fought ISIS in Syria and Iraq... -
We should integrate BI before a lot of people loose their robotic jobs due to the rise of new technolgies. If not we'll run into a worldwide crisis, because so many people will loose their jobs. IMO the encouragement of human creativity in general, espacially established in education is mandatory to avoid this crisis. People have to start going new ways in order to have jobs in the future. A monthly payment of 1000$/€ could be a savety net for people to start educating themselves. In e.g. Germany this payment could be easily funded by higher financial transaction taxes. Proportionate taxes for millionaires, billionaires and big companies are also good ways. Yeah, 0.00001% of the people.

@RendHeaven I don't want to paint with a too broad brush here. I neither think the Peterson equals alt-right narrative is right nor that Peterson is used by right-wing propaganda channels. He says the things he says and he knows how the masses will interpret them. I won't criticise his metaphysics or his lectures about symbols or jungian psychology because I'm not familiar with his views on these topics. But IMO he is popular for his political views and his individualism-based self-help. I criticise his followers who follow him blindly on those topics. -

Just looked on the comments of Petersons latest uploaded video: Top comment from a guy with a rainbow-hair-pepe profil picture and a playlist of culture war and mgtow videos. Second top comment: Pinker is a Harvard prof who doesn't have his head "...in the postmodern arse". 3rd: Thank you JP you helped me get my life together. They don't seem that open-minded or loving to me. I'm sure they love Peterson though and he helped some to build structure or find a christian community. -

@RendHeaven Despite your points on postmodernism the biggest red-flag about Peterson are his followers. Just look all the hate and demonization in the comments. You won't see this stuff on videos of Leo or Sadhguru. And this is no accident. He reflects his own issues, his own incapacities on his followers and vice-versa. He may does some good work in his field of study and on integration of blue and orange but this comes with the costs of unhealthy belives about other areas. -
I feel like I've lost some brain cells watching this video. IMO it's right that the sports industry is really a huge deception, this is utterly obvious. But the conclusion that this is because of an elite conspiracy is really fucking dumb. The sports industry is just a result of what we value as capitalists societies. Football players work hard, often times look good, drive big cars and have hot girlfriends. They are stage orange rolemodels. You can watch these rolemodels via television for pleasure if you want. Side note: Beware of William Cooper bs.

@themovement We talk past one another. I won't debate about marriage. But let me ask you: What does hypergamy mean for your life? What is the conclusion you draw out of this concept for your life?
-
@themovement I didn't deny anything. And I don't have to proof you anything. If you want to live this way, do it. I just want to point out to you that your biological determinism is just one relative perspective you constantly choose to live.
-
@themovement You incel/red-whatever-pill guys are just on the lowest point of a materialistic paradigm. So left-brained that your stuck in a pseudo-biological trap. Co-dependend to a toxic consumer society that tells you what happiness is: possessing, fucking, winning and buying. Even if you guys would be 'genetically superior' it wouldn't change anything. Even the winners of society suffer from severe emptiness which comes with the meaninglessness of its values. But go on, live your life based on the concept of hypergamy so you don't have to take responsibility for yourself (poor victim). Base your life on research of tinder statistics instead of expierience. It might be necessary to live this way in order to expierience its groundlessness.

Odysseus replied to Anton_Pierre's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Anton_Pierre Everything you write is about you. I don't understand this sub-forum anymore. Almost every thread is about 1. I am god, 2. I'll meet god if..., or 3. spiritual theory/leo should. Self-talk. No questions asked. Hopefully the communication-skills of everybody will improve. -
@apparentlynoself Ok, now I understand. Next time try to push through the resistance. I've done two 7-day solo-retreats and both times I had one day were I couldn't meditate longer than 1 hour in total because my monkey-mind didn't turn silent. But I had the place booked so leaving wasn't an option Next time it will work for you, just try to stay relaxed even if your schedule doesn't work as you planned. It is not about the time you spend meditating but about the depth you surrender to conscious expierience. Much love
-
@apparentlynoself How is thinking about random stuff an epic fail? I don't get it. You're monkey-mind is almost always active during meditation isn't it? As long as you don't leave your cushion and your house to finally go to your dentist, you don't fail. Don't be too hard to yourself. Also don't demonize the ego it's 'part' of the absolute. Try to accept it all the best on your path

Your post inspired me to write this poem: Illusion, Truffles, Meeting. Hero, Glory, Destiny. Attention. Pokemon. God. Dammit. -
@Apparation of Jack Additionally to Leo's post: Maybe you can join a small spiritual-community where the participants want to connect on the same level as you. After you found independence/freedom from the energy-levels of materialistic people you can come back and help those who are stuck in the materialistic paradigm.
-
Whoa, I love that. Priceless wisdom. Thank you

Leo actually gives detailed tips on pick-up topics. IMO actualized.org should take position against toxic ideologies. If someone asks: 'I feel stuck being a single male for x years now, how can I find a girlfriend?' Everybody will try to help him. But if someone opens a thread: 'Feminism is destroying men's ability to be happy', he's obviously in the wrong place to post that. We argued about topic like this for ages on this forum and it's time to step up from quality like this. It's sad that some people are stuck in certain thinking patterns but this place is about personal-development and spirituality and not a big echo-chamber for victims. This isn't about morals but about evolving the quality of discussion, therefore distractions should be removed.
-
Yeah but IMO it fucking sucks to read this topics about mgtow, incel, conspiracy theories or aliens etc over and over again. These topics have been answered several times with great empathy but they pop up almost every day. These 'Leo how was your breakfast'-topics are annoying too. This forum isn't about Leo but about spirituality. Leo and his Mods are positioning themselves against this low-quality stuff and I think thats necessary.
-
Yeah this is unfortunate because Leo wants to help people to discover (universal) Truth. Therefore he points in a certain direction where we can start searching (inside). Most of us wouldn't know about the so-called spiritual path if he wouldn't make videos about some topics. But many people are just consumers of the information he offers. Consumerism is a epidemic of our time. Consumers are only absorbing his energy and information, probably they would even start worshiping him just because the possibilities of the concept enlightenment (here used as a form of escapism) sound great to some ears. That's why I would recommend to stop consuming spiritual-teachings unless you can embody them. If you don't do the work yourself you can't grasp what he is talking about. If he tells you that you can experience Oneness yourself by awakening this doesn't mean you can. Maybe he can but this doesn't matter. You have to go on the path yourself to try it. Most of us were trained to trust our minds, to trust expertise, to trust results or trust science. But this path requires the ability to trust in your inner fire, infinite love and finally in nothingness. These words don't have any meaning unless you can feel them and fill them with meaning. Therefore this path isn't easy. You think I'm just words on the screen because some teachers who seem competent told you? I think there is much more nuance to your personal situation than that?
-
Is this a new emotional state for you (lack of ability to connect to anything)? Or did this get triggered by 'what leo told you'? If so: Stop being a spiritual elitist. You're just 1 of 7.6 billion people on earth. Just because you think you have some expert knowledge about reality or being doesn't mean that you're different. It is easy to dismiss/avoid/escape your reality by THINKING that everybody else is an illusion. But your illusion is just a concept based on your new knowledge. It is terrible to see how many people confuse knowledge with wisdom. Wisdom is expierience and knowledge. I'm writing this so harsh because I often step in the same trap. And I also hope that you find your way back on track by reconnecting and accepting your relative reality.
-
@Aeris here is an in-depth lecture by this beautiful doctor who also has adhd. Just in case you like long videos.
-
@EvilAngel Take responsibility for your situation and start working on your relative vision. Also start reducing your information intake/intellectualization (limit videos, articles, books). It's time to take action (gain expierience). You only know oneness as a concept. Connect with oneness for yourself. Don't be a sheep.
-
You can quote Stirner, Nietzsche or other intellectuals as much as you want. Their words don't hold any inherent truths unless you're able to understand and apply them. And let's be true by this point you're unable to do so because of your festering ideological bubble. If you're willing to confront your shadow drop your misinterpreted 'education' and just try to feel into the void.
-
There is a premise you're to radicalized to see: the human being needs society.
-
IMO exesses of extreme capitalist individualism are the root problems we face at the moment. People feel disconnected from each other. So society as whole must become more collectivistic (SD stage green), include rather than exclude. But yeah, you can also preach ur utopia of anarcho-individualism where you can harvest your own crops of victimhood and fear of responsibility. I'm interested in Leo's video :-)
