  1. It was interesting today to watch the teacher training of the week. I left home so early this morning, so I meditated in the dance studio that I'm working in. Every Wednesday morning all teachers get together for physical and administrative training. It ended up all talks and different physical exercise trials about meditation, and what possible good effects of it can take place, in the personal life and the business life we share for now. This group has nothing to do with meditations or even the topic of it. And the training evolved into this subject right of the bat and out of nowhere. It's very interesting. I got naturally so surprised, it was very blissful, so to speak, to watch it happening.
  2. That was really nice:) thank you for doing that:) a very nice gesture..
  3. Whoever answers it right gets a free coaching from @Leo Gura !
  4. There are some really nice answers over here, so maybe a committee would be nice to choose the best answer.. Since it's the concept of enlightenment, @Emerald, @Azrael, @Nahm , @Arman, and @Joseph Maynor would make a decent committee for that For the sake of pandas
  5. AHAAHAHAHHAH!! @Akim actually he might be demonstrating what happens after nirvi kalpha stage
  6. @Vipassana seems like you're the closest one so far.. Well your name also tells a lot
  7. Mmahhh.. well so then you say transcending the thinking process would be enough for enlightenment? @SFRL
  8. Very well said @Nahm And I agree with @herghly , psychedelics are the half way. In Rumi's book there is a short story about a donkey which goes to travel around the world and sees it all.. when he comes back, his friends ask: what did you see?!! What did you see?!! And he goes 'oh! Nothing! Just watermelon rinds everywhere!' So, even if you get the chance to see it all, when you are not ready to receive the meaning or the essence, whatever you experience is not more than a watermelon rind.
  9. A very beautiful and nice speaker. I really liked her contribution to society, thanks for the share @Nahm ahah, I meant @kieranperez * Nahm I also liked what you said too tho
  10. @thehero ?? * how come my name became sevi_smag? interesting.
  11. @thehero I would definitely feel the same way, but are you sure that if it's not a misunderstanding? Because if there is a deep connection and fulfilment with the share of common values, it defines something special and rare, I don't think your friend can 'develop' such a thing (with whoever else); since such a thing requires a lot more than 'developing a friendship' Are you taking responsibility on your end to let your friend know what you need and how you feel? He might perfectly assume that you needed space, where -for example- you need more intimacy? Because sometimes when we need our close relationships be there for us, we withdraw ourselves with the idea of not to be needy or dependent upon someone.. which can be easily interpreted as you want your space and to be on your own for some time, then an intimate friend will gonna try to give you that space to make you happy.
  12. Exactly my sentiments. This is really really brave of him, I'm almost worried about him, because it is the whole your reputation on the line especially when you touch those points where the society is way too conditioned. That's why most of the enlightened people keep their mouth shut: their words or wisdom won't penetrate through people's ears; will just evoke more defense.. it's really brave. On the other hand, if someone doesn't bring the truth on the table, how come the purification of the society will be possible? Yet it is already way too toxic.. I don't know, it takes huge amount of guts. That's a proper question. The answer is, those ones are really rare. The majority is not really having the need to question cultural social conditionings and the core essence behind what is said thus the real meaning is somewhat lost. One of his videos, Leo mentions that we better question our medium/media no matter what; otherwise the default settings will take control over us though osmosis.. that is such a serious warning to take into account; but.. without having the need, seeing its importance.. it is nearly impossible. Even if we agree so; we are so sedated to take any action on that. But unfortunately there are consequences on that. As though @MarkusSweden is extreme about his approach, but still there is a point in there. On macro political field, there are active intentions which is what it is, but us being so unconscious, is not the way to go.. even if the intentions were all positive, every one can easily fall asleep and get into the ego traps.. How interesting that is; it is very difficult to differ such matters of spiritualism and existence from culture and politics. So, if I answer the question of the thread, his stance is right on. Especially when you approach it from the enlightenment point of view -which is the primary reason of any religion or spiritual teaching- I am so impressed that he could get through the core of it without being affected by the most of the dogma around it. Wish we all could have his radical open mindedness and this healthy and correct way of scepticism.. to have this very open and curious mind to understand and embrace existence at its highest octave would be one of the greatest gifts that we could give each other and ourselves.. Thank you @Leo Gura for setting such nice examples and models to look up to. It's a real gift of yours to our era and society at large.
  13. I absolutely join what @prem brian says, thank you very much @Leo Gura What you are bringing into enlightenment is absolutely so unique. A very refined core from all the teachings, peeled from all types of conditionings of culture, society, or the human mind itself. Thank you.
  14. It was the Easter Goat, right?!
  15. Oh my god❤ one of the best videos I've watched! Thank you!@WildeChilde And here is my smiley one:we wish a good night to everyone?
  16. That was very inspiring in the first half for me, then when he started to get into nothingness.. I got lost and very drained honestly. I will not be involved in discussions about it, but as someone who came from middle east to America, I can easily see why the western world won't get it.
  17. By the way, the last video is one of the most inspiring things I have ever came across with in my life... I couldn't wait to write this as a comment under the vid.
  18. Very well said @Leo Gura But interestingly, even in his close consciousness it's easy to see that there is that deep desire within him that makes the guy willing to go beyond those limits; but:) who's gonna take those existential risks? Then of course you get uncomfortable with the ones who do. It really makes me curious: what exactly makes a human brave enough to go beyond that line? Sure, there is good amount of people who's willing; but what exactly the thing makes them take the actual action/actual path? Actually I think quite opposite. With deep videos yes people might feel very scared, or might have difficulty to understand or relate to them, but it's ever depressive or dark. They surely might not get it, but human nature is inherently on the look for finding and deeply (re)-connecting with what really it is.. it just is.. the magnificent design orders it, there is no other way around actually:D so that whatever they might experience at the surface layer of their consciousness, deep down they are the most motivated ones: I know this in my bones, more than than I know my existential reality:D Actually I was about to write just the opposite in the comments of the vid. I haven't watched the second one yet, but: in the first video, the content is presented in such a very well organized and so easy to understand manner, even for someone who's quite unrelated to such topics. I really did think this way, right in the first quarter of it while watching.
  19. 3h 40mins?? What have you done @Leo Gura? I'm really curious right now. Ahhahahah sit and contemplate on your sins tonight then what did you do wrong and god gave you this punishment AND LET US KNOW
