In the end looks like a promotion for christianity, he was pretty anti eastern at the end. I think his reasoning is bad, if you want to be confused listen to this guy. He's like a kid looking for who was the best person to follow using LOGIC. He's letting stories and concepts like "jesus came from heaven to expereince death" become crucial in his reasoning and judgement lmao he doesnt know if thats just a story, that called "blind belief", not faith. FAITH = being ok with not knowing. Belief = Saying something is true just so your ego feels grounded in something. -
I just look at the psychadelic crowd and then the non psychedelic spiritual crowd who don't take it, and to me one crowd stands out more. Judging from Leo's last comment here and the fact he said he will do 30 day meditation with lots of 5-meo it seems the results were weak at best. Psychedelic as I understand it, is only useful for someone who is completely and utterly locked in the science or materialistic world, who denies anything beyond such things then yes, i agree such a person probably needs 5-meo shoved up their ass, but beyond that not really useful. See this is the whole problem, "The ego mind returns" is actually the ego saying that, the ego is taking away the enlightened experience away from you, that's the whole f**king problem "no this can't be enligthenement" it has to be like this or like that, it has to be giving me insights like 5-meo or I must be high to be enlightened, "enlightenement seems to be elusive". No enlightenment is here right now, it's been here the whole time, when you was 5 years old you was in the now, 30 years old you're still in the now, everything has changed except the "now". Enlighenment is everything that you know right now in this moment, its existence, It's just not good enough for you, it's so f**king simple that the ego throws it away and says "nah that ain't it" it's too bland, mundane, regular. You never lost it, you were always it, but the ego keeps convincing you otherwise. And this why enlightenment can be seen as an on/off thing, because you can always convince yourself otherwise with the mind, the mind is the obstacle, you're in your own way. When you self reflect you realise you were always in the now, there wasn't a time where you were not in the now, the now is the only permanent thing that never changes. Am I here: yes. Do I exist: yes. Am I Aware: yes, Where am I located? Here, How far? here no distance. Is the experence known? yes. Where is the experience? here. Does the experience change? yes. Do I change? no. I am present, always, in the now, forever. You can enter samahdi in deep meditation but you're not suppose to cling even onto that, both the emptiness and all the changing phenomena is one and the same, and the mundane boring and so normal experience is also truth, don't deny the truth. Actually the truth cannot be denied, only the ego can convince you that it is not so.

Everyone's Ego whilst pursuing enlightenment: No Ego, no person falling over, no doubt, no falling over, no "that's not it". -
It's not only sadhguru but most of the popular gurus, eckhart Tolle http://arsspiritus.com/spiritual-master-eckhart-tolles-lsd-experience/ So you're basically saying you enjoy it and its recreational. Saying doing Lsd is better than watching TV is just an opinion or preference. In one of your videos you said if you want pure joy we could just hook you up to meth on an iv, but that wouldn't be life.

It makes no difference he's still stuck in a game and there's nothing for him to do then to be the game, the limitation of the game is his whole reality. He can't point outside the screen where ever his hand goes will just be pixels. For him to point at the screen he will literally need to come out into our world. Its like if I said experience/imagine a 4D, 5D or 6D dimensional world, see its impossible. -
I really thought that might be the case, just judging by what the best mystics and gurus have been saying about it pretty much exactly what you said "temporary" and the it could lead to desiring mystical experiences which is more movement. Sadhguru calls it "chemical chaos in the body and mind" if I remember correctly. Will you be using that stuff forever even if you conclude it won't help attain enlightenment?

Control someone's attention, perception and beliefs and you can obliterate them. Watch this video with no slow motion, rewinds or stops. This is why I don't take any "Spiritual powers" on heresay alone seriously, it needs to be tested on confine strict grounds, and can't be just some belief you have.

Are you talking about the infinite intelligence that works in the background like sub consciousness and how like nature does everything automatically and intelligently so much better than what we create, all without a brain or ego @fireworld law of attraction is simple, what you put your attention on will yield to you. If you put your attention on a subject you will learn a lot about it, etc. You need to see things in your minds eye before you can take action towards it. -
The forum is mostly garbage dude, if you're lucky you might be able to ask Leo a question and get his opinion on it. Or you might get insight from him replying to someone else. Occasionally you might find insight from another person, or a good video / link shared, but for the most part its 95% bullshit, it just too hard to go through all the bad information, imagine wikipedia thats even more open to public abuse. Try to ween yourself off the forum you don't want to get addicted to another social media (the forum) a place for mental masturbation whilst thinking they're progressing because its an "actualize/spiritual" forum. Leo's videos + the work he recommends (choose the ones you need, not all of it, no one has the time to do everything he says) + your life purpose/career/business and you will make big gains, and leave the forum to eat your dust.

2 cells out of the blue got bored in infinite time and decided to merge together, creating complicated cells and bacteria which created evolution, this all came from a giant rock (earth) which came form the big bang which came from nothingness/consciousness, existence itself, everything is one thing. Thats why they say "given enough time anything is possible". -
blazed replied to MM1988's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Prabhaker If you don't believe in big bang, evolution and cells forming than that's fine by me. Not interested in arguing with you, seeing as I usually disagree with everything you have to say on the forums. Science does a good job tracking the physical evidences, most of that stuff is in the museums. The only way to solve a crime scene is through evidence, not using "spiritual beliefs", And if you don't believe in the power of science then get off the computer and don't use science or technology. Edit: ops that came out harsher than I expected, sorry about that, wrote too passionately. -

The only way a robot or AI intelligence won't gain consciousness is humans are unable to build such a complex mind, but seeing as reality is infinite it is possible at least for reality itself. How can you say its NOT possible? Big bang > Sun > earth. Earth was a big giant lifeless rock. Lifeless, no different than a stone you pick up and look at today. Then water came, then cells formed and merged together and multiplied. Then this started bacteria, nature, and evolution, fish creatures > land creature, etc. Humans came out of this. The Inca's called human's "animated earth". So big bang, sun, earth, nature, animals, humans. Basically humans formed out of a giant rock, spinning in empty space. So whats the difference between a rock and all the materials that the robot is made out of? Leo is totally correct in his video, it is definately possible as far as reality is concerned, but we humans may never see it. “Where there are rocks, watch out! Watch out, because the rocks are going to eventually come alive and they are going to have people crawling over them. It is only matter of time, just in the same way the acorn is eventually going to turn into the oak because it has the potentiality of that within it. Rocks are not dead. You see, it depends on what kind of attitude you want to take to the world… You cannot get an intelligent organism such as a human being out of an unintelligent universe. So in any lump of rock floating about in space, there is implicit human intelligence. Don’t differentiate yourself and standoff against this and say ‘I am a living organism in a world made of a lot of dead junk, rocks and stuff.’ It all goes together, those rocks are just as much you as your finger nails.” ~ Alan Watts Robots will be the next evolutionary step if possible, this video game has already done a very good job in telling this story (watch it from where I linked it: minute 32:00 and onwards), It's awesome btw, you can get different endings like taking the ego (devil) with you downloaded or not, depending on the choices you make. Last of all guys you cannot believe in INFINITY if you believe in "not possible", because at that point, it's not infinite anymore. It just might not be possible in your direct experience, in the here and now. -
This was originally a video clip I took off the web but I editted the original footage because there was too many nude guy's flexing muscles and I wanted more inspirational footages to go with the audio. I did this 3 years ago and kept the video on my hdd as a personal inspiration, I just found it again and I thougth I'd share with you guys. We're ALIVE BABY! Remember the Human experience can be amazing in of itself, watch the video

TL:DR version: Focus/awareness/Consciousness is the only thing "known" to you in your present moment. And pure consciousness is emptiness/nothingness/Absence/Brahman, everything else is consciousnesse's illusion, the game of lila. This thing is literally a fucking super power this is what Sadhguru means when he says "Focus in one direction" and "pay attention and anything will yield to you", this is what "law of attraction is" all problems arise because our attention is always being stolen by useless unconscious stuff. No wonder people meditate 24/7, they're training their awareness to stay in blissfulness, no wonder the buddha did that, mastering the skill of focus. This is not about popping psychedelics and going on fun mystical trips, spirituality is self mastery, psychedelics might be useful to someone who's stuck on common ego, but all these psychedelics user seem to want to trip the rest of their entire lives, that's bullshit, sounds like another addiction. Like Eckhart Tolle said "maple syrup for the mind". -
You only know very little, and what you know is what is in your direct experience right now in the moment, and you may only understand attributes to what is in your direct experience, the more you pay attention to it the more attributes you will come to know about it. "Faith = being in a place of not knowing, accepting what arises, Belief = the ego's way of labelling or controlling experience". Focus on the left hand you become the left hand, Focus on right the hand you become the right hand. Focus on the breath you become the breath. Focus on thoughts you become the thoughts. Focus on emotions you become the emotions. Focus on the pain you become the pain. Focus on another you become the other. Focus on existence you become existent (more alive/awake/present/in the moment). "The thing you are looking for is the thing that is looking" Unfocused with great intensity you become the nothingness/emptiness/silence/pure consciousness/ Samadhi, whatever. "You are looking through a small lens" To quieten down the mind they tell you to do the focus on breath meditation, actually they say you can't quieten the mind, you can only remove awareness from it. So basically you're just training where you place your awareness. To truly be one with the object/subject in your awareness the concept of "you" has to disappear, there must be no illusion of the self, there must be no self. "No one can pass the gateless gate, no one's mind has ever figured out how, and no one ever will, no one can pass the gateless gate... So. Be. No One." "There is no self that awakens, there is no you that awakens, what you are awakening from is the illusion of the separate self. From the dream of the limited you, to talk about it is meaningless there must be an actual cessation of the self to realize directly what it is, and once it is realized there is nothing that can be said about it, as soon as you say something you are back in the mind 'I've already said too much'." "Not that which the eye can see, but that whereby the eye can see: know that to be Brahman the eternal, and not what people here adore; Not that which the ear can hear, but that whereby the ear can hear: know that to be Brahman the eternal, and not what people here adore; Not that which speech can illuminate, but that by which speech can be illuminated: know that to be Brahman the eternal, and not what people here adore; Not that which the mind can think, but that whereby the mind can think: know that to be Brahman the eternal, and not what people here adore. The One Power that illumines everything and everyone is indivisible. It is the Ear behind the ears, Mind behind the mind, Speech behind speech, Vital Life behind life. The ears cannot hear it; it is what makes the ears hear. The eyes cannot see it; it is what makes the eyes see. You cannot speak about it; it is what makes you speak. The mind cannot imagine it; it is what makes the mind think. It is different from what all we know; yet it is not known either. Those who feel they know Him know Him not. Those who know that anything amenable to the senses is not Brahman, they know it best. When it is known as the innermost witness of all cognitions, whether sensation, perception or thought, then it is known. One who knows thus reaches immortality." Notice where you put focus/awareness is where things unravel? how you learn, how you get things done, notice how all unconscious activity is basically activity that robs your focus when you know it should be used elsewhere? "The degree to which a person has evolved or become enlightened is the degree to which one has gained the ability to adapt to each moment or to transmute the constantly changing human stream of circumstances, pain and pleasure into bliss."

Evil exists and is part of reality, deal with it. Anything that exists is God's will, or creation itself, how can god be wrong? Evil is a human concept, mind made, no other animal sits around debating whether something was an evil act, there is only pain and loss, but no mental debating/arguing, whats interesting and disturbing is when one lion kills another or animals that cannibalize each other, "we" humans see it as normal or dismiss it as nature, but when one person kills another OMFG apeshit crazy talk no wai. Pain is a survival tool of the brain, if you are born with pain disorder you won't feel any pain at all, and then death wouldn't actually be as scary anymore, a lot of these people die very early because they can't judge that there is something wrong with the body. Karma is action, Negative actions have consquences, punch someone, they will punch you back, kill someone and go to prison, do drugs, risk getting stabbed or shot, Sure sometimes Bad things happen for no reason, and good things happen for no reason. But your entire life is a result of all your accumulated actions. Ultimately you do positive things because you want your life to be better. -

Also its good to remember you haven't actually lost anything its just that you went from thinking something is important to thinking it's not important, time to start brain washing yourself with life goals and motivational videos! -

Hmmm, intentional clickbait and marketing, is that enlightened activity or not? lol -
blazed replied to Maycol's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
"There are, strictly speaking, no enlightened people, there is only enlightened activity." If they become unconscious that means at that time moment they were not enlightened. Sadhguru would probably beat you with it yes, but he'd probably be in joy whilst he does it -
blazed replied to Maycol's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
If its intentional anger like how a parent shouts at a child to strike fear and get them to do something quickly then I'd call that enligthened rage. If it's other people causing you to get angry and lose self control you ain't enligthened, enligthened must be some weak ass sauce if other people can intend to troll you and make you angry and you can't even sustain high consciousness / self control. Inner game is 100% you, outer game not so much. For example when jesus got angry and kicked people out of the church for gambling I'm pretty sure that was very intentional anger. Asking people nicely probably wasn't going to work. -

Leo is the zen devil, he invented it, if you google "zen devil" all that comes up is mostly Leo's stuff. lol "zen devil" sounds awesome tho, would like to make a comic about it. -

Seriously you guy's ever since I posted my rumi quotes which were on topic you guy's derailed this shit. No wonder the mantaray's developed sting rays to kill shit lol, why do i ever bother coming back here from time to time. -
blazed replied to MarkusSweden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
No i am understanding it, you are saying the blind man only understands the picture doesn't exist because someone tells him about the picture and he has a concept of him not being able to see it (existing). Or if someone loses all their senses except for the mind then they will only know that something doesn't exist because they have a memory or concept of having these senses before they had lost it, right? Why does nothingness = existence When non-existence = a concept. when nothingness and non-existence are practically the same thing in dictionary terms. Doesn't nothingness basically mean there's nothing there! it doesn't exist?! Why isn't it a paradox in both cases? -
blazed replied to MarkusSweden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Oh I don't know, you might be, you should put a lot of enquiry and awareness on it, you did say Rumi's words were "choking" you. You might be afraid of non-existence which is the same as death. This is the very thing that leo means when you need to commit suicide. @Etagnwo @Anna1 Anna I think this guy likes you with the amount of white knighting, you guys should take this business to PMs, There is nothing great or good about using the excuse "I am real and not fake" and proceeding to be obnoxious , rude, violent, etc. That's the excuse most shitty celebs are using these days to get away with all bad behavior. -
blazed replied to MarkusSweden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
No it's fine, just thought it was kind of unecessary and rude to point out what you did, it's kind of like when you get unconstructive criticism like "your art is shit". Its cool.
