The more I made meditation anal and effortful the less I was motivated to do it. So now i see it as something fun, i do the "do nothing" meditation and do whatever meditation I want within that, so somethimes I drift to focusing on my breathe and sometimes I do self enquiry. I let my subconscious mind do what it feels like, in return meditation feels effortless and more pleasurable. If it is a good session my f**king body literally dissolves to the point i can't feel anything but I'm pure awareness, at which point no words can describe it. It's the greatest feeling I felt, but I can't call it enlightenment because I can't function as a human being in that mode, because there is no ego. I call it tripping on blissfulness lol. I still have no idea what true enlightenment because all these guru's do is contradict each other and saying opposite things, so words are pointless. -

Nonsense, whilst these cooperations are unhealthy and unproductive they exist due to demand, all business is about supply and demand. Without demand businesses die out. Be thankful that you have the option to use McDonald's whenever you please rather than being forced to eat salads by the government and law. Like how psychadelics and drugs are banned because the goverment thinks its helping society by doing so, because if they don't they get backlash from society when things go wrong on drugs, such as stupid teens overdosing and jumping off buildings, etc. Just the same way people where screaming down the goverment's neck when Osho's spiritual community came to take over Oregon in the US. Remember there are more balanced peoples using these services for example when I see fast food joints in the UK, 80% or more of the people aren't actually overweight, but regular to skinny. For example there are more people who watch movies or play games for a couple hours a night as opposed to complete addicts who spends 8+ hours. You have more freedom now than any of our ancestors. Everyone likes to blame anything else besides themselves, the only one in their way is themselves. If you're fat and unhealthy it's not McDonald's fault it's your own fault for the lack of discipline and self control. And if you investigate it further it's no one's fault, just reality happening, experiencing another scenario in Infinity. Can't have Infinity without all sorts of people in all sorts of situations. Remember you didn't stumble onto spirituality, reality bought spirituality into your experience. The same way If a meteor decided to hit the planet and wipe us out that would just be reality happening without our consent. Or lets just say the sun exploding or a black hole absorbing us, because people will start to make concepts about how humans can destroy a meteor from hitting the planet and therefore have control lol. -

Been meditating for about 4 years, never had such thing, even use ear buds and blindfolds sometimes. Its probably nothing but if you keep getting pains and bleeding see a doctor. Ego might distract you with subtle trickery but it's not going to make stab wounds or bullet holes appear out of thin air, it's mind trickery, your ear bleeding means there was a physical damage. -

Practical knowledge, lays it down as it is, as far as my opinion goes. I think they do a good job in sincerity. Of course you could still get a scientist blow it out of the water and ask evidence for everything, which would be missing the point. -

ITSSSSSSSSSSSSS OUT Yay! been waiting a while for this one. Thanks for the heads up! (PS anyone who hasnt seen the documentaries from these guy's should watch it, they do a great job in all areas and make spirituality look awesome/entertaining which is rare). -
Yup pretty much what I said, just be present and enjoy the experience. Even if you do shift into self observing (to be fair I think you're just getting stuck / stuttering because of fear and being outside your comfort zone) that's ok, just try to bring your awareness back to what the interviewer is saying and try to answer their questions. Remember it's about what you pay attention to, where you're putting your awareness, if you're focusing on your breathing and doing self observation you're basically meditating in an interview which isn't what you are there to do It's ok to take a deep breathe and think before you speak, just don't get stuck there.

I guess you could also eat your faeces, that would clear up your ego and the parasites up real good. I mean why draw the line at that? Drinking urine is not practiced by any other animal on a regular basis, but drinking fresh water is, nature knows best. (and yes I know there is always the odd animal, dog, ape, etc that eats and drinks it's own waste, they are the exception). This is the human intellect gone wrong, the EVERYHTING IS A CONSPIRACY TOWARDS MY ENLIGHTENMENT is in my opinion a severe mental problem. I don't think anyone is out to stop people from developing, it's more of case of demand and supply and people really do cater towards the things that the biological body responds to (craves) such as sugar, fat, salt, laziness, entertainment, etc. So if anything your own body is a conspiracy to development. Notice how tribes in healthy environments and animals also do the bare minimum to survive, if they stomach is full, and they're healthy and good you'll find them chilling/resting. Also someone in india probably had the bright idea to sell their urine and their cow's urine for $$$. Urine is good for survival reasons when you don't have access to fresh water, but each cycle increases toxicity levels so eventually you will poison yourself from the toxins if your keep recycling the same urine. -
This is kind of a naive way to put it but imagine consciousness being this invisible barrier of "nothingness" spread infinitely wide across all directions and dimensions, where ever there is interaction that "nothingness" is the witness. The brain/mind is where separation happens because the mind is the thing that keeps account of memory and uses logic such as "past, present and future". So in theory you can say that the human body is a biological robot and consciousness is stealing all the witnessed perceptions, IT is the interaction of the two objects. Awareness is aware in of itself, just like how the sun emits light by itself. The body will die but consciousness won't, it's there forever stealing interactions from all forms. But you need to be careful with interpreting Leo's words because him saying "no brain, nothing exists" can come across as extremely nihilistic. Nothing is real, but everything is real at the same time, define real? what is real? Sciences already says that the foundation of everything is nothingness, the more you zoom into a particle or atom the more its "nothingness" there isn't anything there! And Yet here we are.... experiencing a human experience, so again, define what is real? We are in a dream, as a dream character we pointing at the sun and saying the sun is real because its there, forgetting it’s all a dream, and yet there is such a thing as the dream taking place in the first place. So when this body dies and consciousness re-joins itself there is no "this world", "this time", "this history" or "these people". To consider this reality as "real" is to consider all other possible realities as "real", it's only real because you're experiencing it right now... for now... As for saying there is no brain it doesn't make much sense to me, the brain is the receptor to consciousness, once the brain shuts down during sleep you lose all conscious experience of this body even tho the body is doing it's own thing, such as breathing, healing, disgesting etc. If you cut a receptor in the brain such as a pain nervous system then neither the body or consciousness can experience pain and therefore you can cut your limbs off and dissect your own body without a care in the world, and as Sadhguru if people didn't have pain in the body they would start to pull out their intestines and swing it around for fun

Focusing on the breathe in an interview is not going to work unless you want to talk slowly like eckhart Tolle which they going to find awkward and annoying as they are business men they don't have time to sit and meditate in an interview, they want the best person for the cheapest price that can get the results they desire the fastest. I'd say to completely detach yourself from the outcome, don't care about the result but think of it as practice, just another opportunity/stage to increase your game and give it your best. See it as there is no actual job offer to lose. Also see it for what it purely is without mental mind stories about the future, see it as you just taking this day to go spend time having an interview with a bunch of new people, just to do something different than the usual day, appreciate the experience/moment as it is. You can focus on your breathe before going in just to calm your heart rate and relax but don't go into meditation when it's time to speak, thinking about breathe is just more (focused) thinking which will block the thinking you need to talk. In an interview you need let your logical mind flow. That's the whole point of the breathe meditation is to block thinking by focusing on a specific thing, which is not what you want to do at an interview. The trick is to be genuinely detached from outcome, not to just pretend.

I don't know.... most online games yeah... but witcher 3 left me very satisified, it's like one of those all time best movies you just had to experience I think the artform really shined through in that game for many people. -

Gurus are bound by earth and sun, so worship the earth and sun, the earth and sun exists thanks to consciousness and existence itself, worship those. Worship the foundation of all things. -

Problem with video games is its extremely addictive, they are based around getting people to play as much as they can because fun = (translates to) addiction. So its a slippery slope... its very hard to maintain a healthy relationship with games, I think the only ones who can maintain a healthy relationship are people who have other obligations. But for example if someone got fired from work and live with their parents they can easily end up playing video games 8+ hours a day. -

It’s not like there wasn't any illusionist and magicians back in the old days. many of whom got accused of witchcraft and black sorcery and killed in the dark ages because they thought it was "real" magic. It seems like the only difference between a magic trick and magic power is whether the person doing the trickery fools an idiot with a belief. (e.g. admits it’s a magic trick and reveals the trick or outright denies it and says it's real and that it comes from a higher power). I'm not saying there isn't life energy/force/electricity within our bodies but I am saying a person who says from the constructs of his ego that they can use such powers in a bodily form, such as creating force fields, sending people flying and using it as a fighting ability is out right lying to you and full of bullshit. As the video I linked previously showed such masters getting punched in the face, even the teacher who Pluto thinks is real (The disciples have such bad acting skills I can't fathom the idea that anyone with a little bit of a sense could find it real) would also get their face crushed if they did step up to an MMA fighter, the only difference is he didn't because the scam must go on. Even Bruce Lee called out such arts as very bad for self-defence, and he created his own martial art of "Jeet Kune Do" a collection of styles, moves, and skills that he considered worthy and powerful. I remember reading some where that Bruce Lee actually said something about how running and cardio is one of the best things in a combat sports such as what the western boxers do whilst the eastern martial artist teachers get fat with beer bellies and do little tricks/techniques and fail miserable in any real combat. 1. Here’s a couple of guys who actually show some neat magic tricks that would leave the audience questioning "how did he do that" only to reveal the secrets directly. Of course once the trick is reveal you would say "of course, I get it, it's so easy" yeah of course after the trick is revealed by an honest man you’ll take it for granted! If it was more like mysterious guru who swore it to be real you be much more susceptible. 2. Here’s a much more convincing act. The ability to use life force around you and manipulate the wind, unfortunately he's moving to the wind and not the other way round. Basically what the Chi teachers were doing when they were throwing those acting disciples around. Creating a fake show of willing actors. Did you see the video I linked previously where one of the teacher who got his faced smashed in by an MMA fighter also had students flying around ridiculously to feed his spiritual ego and theatrical acts? 3. This here is an example why you shouldn't trust videos for confirming any source of magic powers. The fact is the cast, crew and people are in on it, for whatever reason, to hype their documentary or get more eye views. David Blaine also makes insane street magic on the streets however their show and crew don't admit the editing of video footage during some of these insane tricks that were pre-recorded and make it seem like it was “as seen”: 4. You might think old movies and clips didn't have such trickery, you would be surprised. Old movies and old clips had no problems with creating their own effects, and so if a documentary was dishonest they could make such video clips, just because something looks old doesn't make it legit. So the moral of the story: DO NOT BE GULLIBLE, USE YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE AND EXPERIMENT what is real in your direct experience is a very small number of things, what is unknown is everything else. Worry only about what is known because that's your interaction limit. So if you think you’re a Chi master and can use Chi to help you block a punch? Then experiment, get someone to punch you hard in the face and use chi to block it, I guarantee you that you will get knocked out. If you think you can bounce people off with a chi barrier field then experiment and go into crowded places and use your powers to throw people around, highly doubt anything will happen. It's time to stop lying. There has been a scientific study to show that most people who are convinced to have special powers genuinely believe to do so, they are not aware that they are pretending. It is only in strict experiments and testing’s that they come to realise they been bullshitting to themselves by constantly feeding loops of self-chatter about what they can do and how much special powers they have, especially if it's the psychic sort of powers. And that’s the problem here, I don't know why I even bother explaining because if you’re just adamantly going to believe bullshit then you're not open minded, you just have a belief, it's just an opposite or unpopular belief to the usual. Which doesn't make you special in any way except inflate your "I'm special, I can see thinks better than the average person" spiritual ego shit. And worse of all you won’t be able to demonstrate it. For example, constantly telling yourself you have a 15-inch penis when in reality it's 3 inches won’t make other's direct experience of 3 inches change. Denying reality’s rules and laws, denying direct experience of what works and what does not work is being delusional and insanity. Nobody likes a person who is full of confidence but also mentally unstable and ill: For example, Charlie Zelenoff is a amateur boxer who thinks he has like 160-0 KOs, he thinks he's the best boxer in the world, he tries to punch people off guard, he lies and deceives his opponents and when the going gets tough he runs away and hides. only to come back and sucker punch people like Floyd mayweather Sr in the back. Research him, it seems Law of attraction hasn't worked for this guy. Just because you say it's so and you believe it so doesn't make it so. -

I've seen a documentary about solitrary confinement for 48 hours as an experiment the guy came out and all his perceptions was like a miracle he realized how much he'd been taking it for granted after losing it for 48 hours. But yeah, I wonder why 6 month of solitary confinement makes prisoners crazy and insane instead of enlightened???? -

I've been contempating about going all out an doing a none stop meditation until the self breaks, just like the Buddha for a while now, but to be honest my finances ain't in the best position so I always feel guilty to try something like that. But I'm excited that Leo is doing what I wanted to try. It is possible the best thing you can do spiritually, but God damn, the ego will go on a rampage, if you never did 3-4 hours of meditation go try it and you will see just how much the ego screams and yells at you about how this is boring, and your wasting your time, and your a dumb ass, or it will make you extremely hungry, or sleepy etc. Ego don't want to collapse -

You may have avoided video games today but the same impulse that lead you to buying the graphics card will come up again and again over the years. It's lifelong battle unless you remove yourself from a environment that's prone to video gaming, "out of sight out of mind". Also the heart is a funny thing, a lot people are actually passionate through addiction. For example a lot of gamers will say they are "passionate" about gaming and would love to be Pro gamers or twitch streamers making a living off playing video games. If they sit quietly and meditate they will have the desire to play games which will happen subconscious without them even thinking about gaming, and they might confuse this as a calling or intuition. So what separates addiction from passion? A passionate person just looks like an addict from the outside perspective. And in our Western culture money means everything for example: A gamer who play 12 hours a day who makes no money = a waste of space, unproductive, useless, leech, parents basement. A gamer who plays 12 hours and makes millions on twitch = so amazing! He's an idol! So successful! We are proud of him, etc. Society is funny, we value and put so much emphasis on money. -

It's not a magical power if you can't demonstrate and can't seperate between mere daydreaming and actual proof of effecting reality. All of these maritial artist had magical powers unfortunately REALITY hit their ego's in the face. POW straight in the face! It's funny because the gullible disiciples have lost all sense of self and are playing along with the bullshit the master says, until someone who is way more grounded in how reality works destroys the master in the most effortlessly way. -
It's both. There is an element of talent, and that's how your entire body is wired. Nature has effects as well as nuture. Some people have photographic memory (these people usually have other problems like autism, etc) and if you look at a city scape and try to compete in drawing from memory you will lose, not because of the hard work they put in but mainly because they're better wired for it. These days in olympic sports people get scouted on their genetics and ability to do something well. Just look at the fastest sprinters in the world. However, here's the thing, you can't do anything about your talent so theres no point on focusing on it, you can only focus on learning and practicing, and maintaining a optimal body and schedule, that's all, so put all your attention on that. Being able to work hard is also a talent, you can have some really talented people who failed because they had no talent in the ability to get things done. Having the talent to grind out results is one of the best talents in the world, these people usually can brute force their way to results. Now if someone is talented + hard working, then they're usually the very top people in their profession, the best of the best.

I thought it was funny when Deepak Chopra came on and he's like NOPE you're not enligthened instantly. What a load of nonsense, the entire thing. But I do agree with one thing, an Enlightened person shouldn't go around saying "i'm enlightened" it the same as a humble man walking around constantly saying "I'm humble". Or a person who donates to charity and goes around saying "look at how great and good I am, I give money away!!!, i'm the best". -

This is a bad way to understand spirituality, only in death you will find permanent silent mind. You're experiencing a human dream right now. Everything is me, what I know is soooo little what I dont know is everything else. What I dont know is also endless potential, If only more people admitted this. I enter blissfulness silent peace in meditation, but I don't want to stay there, that is a resting place for the mind. @Outer What im trying to say is you wouldn't pick up an object in your room and say "this is IT, this is the thing I've been looking for, I will worship it as the ultimate truth". You wouldn't look at the animal kingdom and say: find a lion, and say this one is it! this is the best lion in the world, its the fastest, strongest, and smartest lion, I will worship this lion. So why do it with a human being? why handicap yourself? -

The ego bowing down to what? another ego? what do you see in a guru? it's flesh and blood, and an ego cosplaying a guru. Yes i think it is unconscious. I see no difference between putting a guru on a pedestal and worshipping him or puting a maple leaf on a pedestal and worshipping it. The maple leaf probably won't leave you chasing after land, money, followers, finding loopholes in the law, and killing opponents because you worship it though, unlike Osho caused Sheela to do through their interaction. The only difference in every object is the interaction caused by it. Buddhism is a religion so it has it dogma, and so does every religion, true spirituality has no religion, it is only the self. And all Good spiritual teachers know it is the self they are looking for, even Osho said this a few times saying I'm not your guru, etc, all the people who had a guru who had an awakening said "I realised the thing I was looking for was me". When you worship a Guru or any object you're putting only one part of yourself onto the pedestal, tunnel visioning, and ultimately making yourself blind. Every guru is you, everyone is you, the whole planet is you, the whole universe is you, you realise just how unconscious and stupid it is to look up to just one guru, one abstraction of yourself.
