I want to talk about the Tao, now you may have another word that you like to use, there are plenty. The word Tao to me seems as good as any other name. So, I could be wrong but not many will go deep into the Tao in there life, because the ego consciousness, is a very powerful force and its not something most will be motivated to break free from. But you are on this forum, and you want to know the truth so it could happen to you or maybe it has happened to you? Anyway, Let's try and say something about it. The Tao of course is everything, it is what is doing all of this, if we can use the word "doing" In its purest form, it is empty & silent, and you can go into this very deeply. There is only this and nothing else, and the self that you experience being is, let's just say a experience of being a self that the Tao is conscious of and having. The Tao is not a entity, the Tao is undescribable. I sat there after days of going deeper & deeper into the Tao, and I could hear a sort of sound, sort of like a vibration sound, I had a thought is this what silents sounds like? And then I whisper, out loud "Tao" (I pronounced it Dao) and suddenly it went completely silent, beyond sound. It was very weird, the Tao is the most strangest, indescribable and profound, immeasurable "thing" (Its not a thing) that you can imagine. Everything dissolves into it. It can be scary at first, but after a while there will be enough of a surrender to really experience your true nature with a clear head & see how indescribable you really are.

@Dodoster yeah defo you are completely right, that statement was said from a human perspective, I have gone deeper into this since then, deeper into the Tao. But calmly and in a very sober way if you will. And really looked at it. It is empty & silent and has no end, that is our true nature. There's always deeper to go of course, after a deep experience of your true nature, you take home more consciousness, of the self you play as & ego consciousness As well and the learning continues, intill you are ready for a deeper experience of God, and more consciousness.

Love is A scent of God, Deep inside your being, there is a surge of love that can pour through you, and wash away, the world. Hi, I have been contemplating whether or not to write this post, number 1 because I know that it is a egoic desire, and part of me as a self wants to show off, or seem interesting or something! But also there is another part that genuinely wants to share something of beauty and hopefully inspire you, as you have inspired me. If you have read any of the post that i have posted before, you may have seen that I have spoke about various experiences, altered states of consciousness that I have had. And I have had a fair number, and each time they are a bit deeper, or a bit more inclusive, as I am sure the deeper each and everyone of you go into your being, you will find that you can never really say you have reached the pinnacle of yourself experientially, because there is always deeper to go. This is the beauty of consciousness work. I am not going to go into how I reached this profound experience, but let's just say I was helped by a substance, one that doesn't have any visual hallucinations. It was late night and I was sitting on the couch by myself, meditative. It happened spontaneously, just like it always does, and it started off as a sense of myself expanding into the present moment, and I started to feel that deep, still, solid feeling like I have felt before on previous enlightenments. But this time it was going to be the next level, I knew that instantly, because my sense of body was starting to disappear very quickly! It was very intense, and pretty scary! I had my eyes closed at that moment, and opened them to try to lessen its intensity, Didn't work! I remember some thoughts coming in that went something like, "Oh shit!" "Oh fuck!" And a sense of panick was was starting to happen, :0 There's no words that can do justice to that moment! And you will only know what I am talking about when it happens to you, but there was just this empty void! More empty than I have ever known! So empty that it was frightening! And its not like this is the first taste of the absolute for me, so you can appreciate the emptyness (that I can't convey with mere words) at that moment. Now there was no escaping it! Do you know why? Because this empty void, this absolute terrifying Nothing! Is what I am, the self is secondary and the void is primary, and that was definitely the way it was feeling at that moment. It was death! Like you really don't get it! Fucking death! But even worse than bodily death, because the body and mind were still functioning, so it was more like death, but being alive and conscious of the fact your dead! This picture does not do justice to the void i am talking about. So sounds pretty bad so far right? Well don't fear because, it gets better. So I know the only reason its scary at this moment is because the ego is still resisting, the body kept trying to tense itself, very subtly, because when it didn't you couldn't feel a body. So I laid back, opened the body and said out loud, "God I love you I surrender" I closed my eyes, suddenly a intense vibration buzzed through my entire being, and before I know it there was pure love! No more fear, just pure love! Love love love love love love love!!!!!! I just kept saying Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou!!! It was like a love orgasm! And I burst into tears, Infinity!!!!! Infinity is pure love!!! God loves you, god loves me, loves everything!!!! All things!! God is goodness!! Is benevolence!! And also God is me, and you! You are the infinite self, whether you realize that in this life or the next, doesn't matter, we are all one. So when I had this experience of the absolute, you had it with me, because at that moment, every being that has ever lived or died or will live and die in the future, was all one. And always will be. The Timeless one. I cryed for about 2 hours, while listening to songs, and I felt like I was crying away all the accumulated pain of generations, and at the same time crying because I am one with you all and that melts my heart. After a while I went back into my normal state of feeling more like a body, than the emptyness, and I am glad because it is intense. I know it sounds to you like I am speaking from the ego, the self, and I am, but I am one, with the absolute always, so are you, it may sound like ego as well because I am writing in terms or relativity, relationship, and this experience was the absolute, no relationship, just one, one infinite being, that we all are. I hope i inspired you to find the love of God.

@Afonso sounds pretty cool, I have never experienced that before (visual phenomena). Everyone's different though, maybe its a sign you are heading in the right direction, keep going mate, I am sure there are more crazy things one can see in meditation. Like Leo mentioned in his video, about things that can happen in meditation, i.e seeing Angels, demons ect. That's probley after many years of meditation though, keep going!

What is communication? that is a genuine question that I'm asking right now. I don't want to try to figure out with the mind, because the mind is the old, and I don't want the old. I am looking for what is true. what is true is right now, so no need to ask the mind for a ready made answer, right? This is important, to see is it not? To really see, what is true, that takes a different kind of inquiry. it's not a intellectual endeavour, that will not suffice, what I want is a conscious pop!! that aha moment! and you got it the truth that's how truth works, it's not up for debate. This principle applies not only to the enquiry into communication but into everything. I first have to go on the premise that I know absolutely nothing when it comes to communication, if I have already made up my mind, then the enquiry has ceased, a true not knowing! that is genuinely what I have, because I understand the difference now between an answer, and the truth itself. I communicated earlier and this was the first interaction I've had with this other person, and straight away I noticed the self image occurring, you know like that sense of monitoring yourself, in the mind. This was noticed. Could she have been also monitoring herself as well? so first of all could this mean that what communication really is, is not between two separate entities (like its experienced) but between two images? Between two separate images, between two separate life stories. The whole sense of someone, with a life, a life with meaning, and all the concepts one has about themselves, all the past experiences that they are bringing into that situation or coming into that situation from? Look into it for yourself. Is it not consciousness interacting with itself, is the apparent conscious entity in front of me not the same consciousness? Is it not me interacting with myself through Two different perspectives? two different self images? is it not consciousness interacting with itself? communicating with itself through two different images, and two different Minds? two different Worlds. doesn't that creates a sense of separation? doesn't that create the sense of you being an isolated self, that is in fear of judgement, you can never truly be authentic. we can say all is consciousness all is one but to really, experience that for yourself in a conversation with a stranger, is what you want to be shooting for that is the only way you are going to start to see communication for what it is, I'm not sure what it is, so the enquiry continues. this is only a spontaneous enquiry into communication, but from now on I'm sure to enquire into it, when I am interacting with people, it's a huge switch in relationship to life when all things become a enquiry for you. And let life be your greatest teacher.

@Vercingetorix absolutely any free time is well spent enquiring and raising consciousness, I don't know if you've heard of Peter Ralston or read his books before but if you haven't I can't recommend him enough, his books will definitely b a great aid.

I have contemplated for a while and have come to some realization, In a earlier post, I wrote about love, that was felt during a recent enlightenment like experience, and because it was a positive experience, I then unwittingly formed a belief that the fundamental nature of reality is good, why? Because that experience was positive and also seen as the deepest connection to the fundamental nature of reality that I have experienced, put them two together and you have got the experience of life being ultimately compationate and good willed. So then that belief is formed. But if we look into it again carefully, you will see. first of all Good & Bad let's look into that. Definition of bad- not such to be hoped for or desired; unpleasant or unwelcome. Definition of good- to be desired or approved of. Right so you can see here very clearly that bad & good come from Desire Whether desire for or desire against, As a sentient being, in the interest of surviving and persisting as itself is affected by everything Perceived, thus quickly determines whether something is good in promoting its survival or not, thus this is how good & bad are created. Reality starts from nothing and as it goes along there is more possibility of creation. Do you get it, good and bad come later through us, through sentients which then gives birth to the possibility of thought and emotions, thus creating meaning and preference, Then comes good & bad. Outside of that these things don't exist, do you see? Meaning good and bad are only relative and not absolute.

@Vercingetorix Well if your putting in that much work a day that is going to be very beneficial For you, those moments of spare time can be used for some serious contemplation and enquiry, How many see it though is that there spiritual work is separate from there daily life. And doesn't have to be. When you are buying something at The shop for example make it a practice to interact with the shopkeeper as consciously as you can. Or when you are on the train, sit there meditative, when you are eating, eat each mouthful consciously. When you are talking to your spouse, observe how you are with them. There is so much people miss, when they are living in the paradigm of thinking that there consciousness practice is apart from their daily life. They do some meditation for a hour and after they are done go back into egoic consciousness, and miss so much chance for more growth.

@Elton "The lower self always wins" is a belief. Unconscious reactions, behaviors & and so on have got a momentum to them, but that is not to say these tendencies of ego consciousness, can't be transcended or transformed with enough work. From what you are saying my friend, you sound like you are having some difficulties, that's fine, how much work have you done? How aware are you being in your daily life? Don't expect everything to be transformed so quickly, this work is something one does for the rest of there life, if they are serious.

@Bodhi123 I see the concern, many years ago the concept of morality came about through religion, as a attempt to get people to live harmoniously Together. They did this by creating a belief that you will burn in hell if you are not kind & compationate. Did it work? No I didn't, in fact religion itself became part of the torture and struggle of humans. So we come to the understanding that true kindness does not come through rules that we create with our mind. It just doesn't work. True compassion, empathy, and love come when we are more conscious, this is a side effect of more consciousness, this is how we are to live harmoniously with one another, thus having empathy for others pain and struggle, because when one wakes up to the absolute truth they also realise that there is no separation that when one is struggling and in pain, empathy and compassion are naturally felt, because the other is you in a different form. If people take this insight I had and it becomes there belief to justify there careless outlook, then that just shows they have not Really understood what I realized.

@Tronds World it can be difficult to understand for a lot of people, because all they can do is refer back to there store house of knowledge of the mind and it won't make sense to them, but iam glad you get it.
