Peace and Love replied to Steph1988's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@NutellaTC From what I can see, and from what I have studied, it can work on anything physical, mental, and on a subconscious level. I work with and am attuned to symbols, and there are symbols that I have used that work with focusing on healing from the past and ones that work on the future. Not to freak you out or anything, but I was introduced to a symbol that is used for promoting enlightenment. It's not like the energy is sent and you just change miraculously ........as it has a lot to deal with the person's consciousness that is receiving the healing and where they are in their personal development journey. A lot of the time when I use Reiki I write things down on a note card on stuff I want to change and I meditate on it while sending energy, and sometimes I find answers just pop up when it is happening. -

@pluto I completely agree with you. And I've played around with this energy way before I was attunded to Reiki. There are people that gaining the ability to use this energy by other methods....tai chi....chi quong......acupuncture.....quantum healing.....healing touch...etc... We all have the ability to use this energy....is just whether or not we are willing to tap into it. -

@Whywolf Hi @Whywolf I would love to hear more information about your perspective of the law of attraction, and your studies. I'm currently being divinely guided to study the law of attraction and I was wondering if you could recommend any specific books or reading material to further my knowledge. Thank you! -
@CMB Yeah, I think he's 31. It says on his profile his bday so it's easy to calculate. I'm 33.

Peace and Love replied to Steph1988's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Steph1988 @egoeimai HI @Steph1988 I'm a Reiki Master and I have a post/topic in the forum that talks about all of this and my experiences and why I got into Reiki. I used to be an atheist, so after everything I experienced with Reiki, I made a huge spiritual shift. The post is called : Starting A Reiki Circle/ Prayer Circle For Actualized.org What is Reiki? I'm going to copy and paste my comment I left to Leo on his video "using 5-MeO-DMT". It gives a great explanation of what Reiki is. I brought it up because Martin was talking about energy and consciousness work while using 5-MEO. It just seemed synonymous to what I was doing with my Reiki stuff. The information I'm providing below mostly comes straight out of my Reiki Text books. Reiki is first off non-demonational or religious. Rei means spiritually guided and ki means energy, the vital life force or the universal life energy. Reiki is guided by spiritual consciousness. This is a non physical energy that animates all living things. And to some it would be interpreted as the Holy Spirit or God living within us. Reiki is a form of energy healing. Reiki guides itself with its own wisdom, rather than requiring the direction of the practitioner. Purging energy from your stomach as what Martin describes about 5-meo-HDTV reminds me of clearing the energy from your solar plexus chakra, which is where you hold all of your emotions. Ki, also known as prana, chi, ti, biofield energy, etc. is thought to be the underlying energy of everything that exists. Ki is influenced by the mind. If you have positive healthy thoughts, your Ki becomes stronger. If you have unhealthy, negative thoughts, your Ki is weakened or becomes unhealthy. It’s so interesting because I’m sure you’ve noticed that our physical health does have a connection to our emotions. Like when we are depressed or aka have negative energy we are sluggish and it can weaken our immune systems while being positive we have a tendency to have more physical energy and get things done. Life becomes so wonderful when we no longer allow ourselves to be governed by our emotions. It’s so nice to have that emotional control and awareness like you are mentioning in your video interview. **when i was done i did not feel weird at all and i was still nervous the next day i made it however on my first try although i don't know if that has anything to do with it. It is very possible that it may have effected you. Because Reiki is spiritual consciousness and I'm not actually doing the healing and I'm just a conduit, the energy has it's own intellect and it can effect you on a physical, mental and even spiritual level. It will guide itself to what is the important thing needed at the time. I was just attuned to this energy and the stuff just works by itself. You don't really need much training for it....like a matter of a few hours just to go over course material. We all have the ability to use the energy, it's just a matter of turning it on! I talk about my personal experiences with Reiki, and how it's affected the people I know. When I first experienced reiki (which I talk more in detail about in the other post) it effected me on a subconscious level. I can tell you there are things that have happened to me that I've NEVER EVER told anyone (counseling, hypnosis, reiki practitioners) etc....involving my sexual abuse I had when I was younger....the phobias I had...they're just plain gone after a one hour reiki session! Last week I caught a really bad cold, so after I received my reiki master certification training on last Friday (which is literally 5 days ago, from when I'm writing this post) I sent reiki energy to my cold for two hours straight. This reiki....omg....it cut my cold in half!! I had no more coughing....sneezing.....watery eyes...GONE! Yesterday I sent distance healing energy to my friend in California because he had a migraine headache and was non stop throwing up. He told me not only was the pain gone, but he said he broke down and had this huge crying jag...like he was purging something emotionally from his body and he felt really good after that. He told me that he hadn't cried that hard since he was 10! And I'm talking about a full grown man!!! Crying can also be a form of release and can heal people. I also got the opportunity to work with Leo using Reiki. He gave me permission to send energy to him, since I needed someone to practice distance healing on during my Master Certification class last week. It's really nice to be able to give the gift of healing to others that are open to receiving it. You can't really heal people unless they are open to it. I personally got involved with Reiki by accident, but it has now become my life purpose to help others along in their life journey. -
@jse @brovakhiin Sweetheart....be kind. Last week I was taking my master Reiki (energy healing) certification class and I got permission to send Leo distance energy healing. He is not well and I could certainly feel it in his chakras. My instructor was reading him...she feels that he gives way too much and that he needs to do some focusing on himself. He is not a selfish man, but generally cares about the needs of others. I'm grateful what he has given us here. Much Love and light.

@egoeimai - Find pictures that inspire you to go after the things you want in your life, and that involve your life purpose. Find pictures that inspire you for health, wealth, life purpose, and anything that you want. But try to pick the best pictures or else you'll end up with a folder full of pictures, and not enough space. lol. I did mine in paint, but you can use Photoshop or something else. A vision board is like something you can post in your room or somewhere you visit frequently to remind, motivate, and inspire you to go after the things you want!

@egoeimai @NormL_is_boring I'm so glad you mentioned this, because this is super important! There is huge misconception and pressure when it comes to sex. We have magazines depicting beautiful women making us women feel we have to look like literal barbie dolls to be accepted and loved, while we also have adult entertainment that is giving a false idea of what sex and intimacy really is. A lot of men (but not all of them of course) look at adult entertainment for REFERENCES! And it's SO SAD! If anyone should be talking about this....it should be me, considering I worked in the adult entertainment field for 6 years. Adult entertainment is for entertainment purposes and everything is purposefully staged. Although it can be fun to watch, it's really unfortunate that a lot of men have fallen into this TRAP. I actually had an ex bf that didn't believe in forplay because of the way things were depicted in PORN and in the end it caused me a lot of sexual pain (3 months of vaginal bruising) and a bad breakup. (He was my first, and I certainly will NEVER make that mistake again!) Most Adult Entertainment doesn't show intimacy, and it doesn't show how real relationships function. And my ex really did believe that's what a relationship was supposed to be like! I AGREE.....Men that are too pushy are indeed a SUPER turn off. I love some of the things PUA has to offer with men building confidence, creating effect communication, and approaching women and taking care of themselves. But I will be honest....I've heard certain men from PUA talking about approaching women so they can practice sex so they can attract the right woman later...to me that's fricken SCARY as SH*T. Like seriously....I don't want to be your practice doll....I've literally refused to go on second dates with men because of them showing me those types of signals. From my experiences and what I have seen. ...... Sex will NEVER build a relationship like great communication and connection will. Once you have great communication, chemistry, and a good bond, the sex will be amazing and come naturally. You'll both be comfortable to communicate what is you both want to do sexually that arouses you even if there is no sexual experience involved! I've dated men where I had sex early on and because of it the sex completely sucked because there was no chemistry and no communication...zero arousal. I ended up with a few very selfish men that were out there for themselves! And you also lose your respect! Intimacy is what matters!! Although sex is apart of a healthy long term relationship, sex early on puts these blinders on you....you get the oxytocin hormones in there and you're screwed....you can be attached to someone (especially women) and the person may the wrong match for you. I've tried sex early on in a few relationships and they consistently failed. The ones that lasted, were the ones where I waited. I'm going with what works for me. I think it's important to use discernment when it comes to who you choose to date or sleep with. Once you are dealing with sex, you are putting very heavy emotional attachment in the relationship, that doesn't need to be there unless you both are ready. (Of course unless you are both on the same page and are in a open relationship, or doing one night stands, etc......you set the ground rules for sex early on....... this can lead to a big problem).

@Vercingetorix I think you should know what it is you want in a relationship. But actively looking for it can be very draining and take away from your life purpose. I think that if you are focusing on growth and development and you are interacting with people that are in line with your life purpose and meditation, enlightenment, etc, you will likely find someone that is your type.
-
@Vercingetorix The hardest part when it comes to love is you have to stop looking to find LOVE. When we search we put blinders on and we can no longer see...The best thing to do is be more outgoing and find yourself. In the process you will attract the right person.

@abgespaced 1.) The 11 things that I listed above. 2.) I like the answer it gives in this article.....this is good! http://www.askmen.com/dating/love_tip_200/228_love_tip.html 1. Tap Into The “F” Word One of the top ways to rile a partner up is to tap into the feeling they most strongly associate with arousal. “Some people need to feel safe in order to be turned on. Others want to feel challenged. Some need to feel sexy or desire. Others want to feel a little frightened. Find out how she likes to feel and intensify those feelings,” says Dr. Jess, Astroglide’s resident sexologist. For example, many women associate arousal with feelings of being desired. If this is the case, you’ll want to ply her with compliments. “Let her know just how badly you crave her. Tell her that you’ve been thinking of her all day and nothing else will do. Look at her like a ravenous beast…,” says Dr. Jess. If on the other hand, her “F” word is love (she is most turned on when she feels cared for), adjust your words, body language and gestures to show her just how much you care. 2. Tease Her Blindfold her and tease around her entire body while avoiding her hot spots. “Use the backs of your hands to very SLOWLY caress her legs, back, hips, face and neck. When you pass over her breasts, let your fingertips linger an inch from the surface so that she can feel your warmth hovering above,” says Dr. Jess. Take your time. Get closer to her hot spots (you’ll have to communicate to identify these, as they’re different for every body) and then pull away to rile her into a fit of desire. “Holding out for longer can create a more intense reaction once you finally touch the spots that are craving your hands, lips and tongue,” says Dr. Jess. 3. Stimulate Her Mind *(This is definitely a big one for me! lol) Men highly underestimate the power of a woman's mind over her body. “If her mind isn't present within the sexual experience then her ability to become aroused will be difficult,” says Tyomi Morgan, sex educator/sexuality coach. The brain is the largest sex organ there is so stimulate her mind first before moving to the erogenous zones of her body. Making her feel safe and comfortable is the first step to arousing the mind and then securing her trust. “Once safety and trust are established it's a matter of helping her unwind from the stresses of the day and drawing into her emotionally. Allow her to vent her frustrations, be empathetic and then move into giving her a back rub. Show her you are interested in more than just getting into her vagina before you move into intercourse,” says Morgan. When her mind is relaxed and free of stress her body will follow. 4. Ask Her What She Likes (And Act On It) *This is a SMART MOVE! Let her be your teacher and the tour guide of her body. “Many men assume they know exactly how a woman likes it based on past experiences or what he has seen performed in films, but every woman is different and is aroused by various sets of sexual triggers,” says Morgan. Have a conversation with her before entering into any sexual activity to give her the opportunity to tell you what does it for her. Not only does this place her pleasure first, but it also makes her feel comfortable in knowing that you care about her satisfaction as much as you care about yours. And that is the ultimate turn on. 5. Caress Her Other Erogenous Zones The sexual parts of a woman's body are obvious (breasts, butt, vulva, lips) but there are other erogenous zones that are non-assuming yet effective in stimulating arousal when they are stimulated. “The backs of the thighs, the palms of the hands, behind the knee, the abdomen and the bottoms of the feet are pleasure zones that can be rubbed, caressed, lightly brushed or even blown on to generate a sexual response,” says Morgan. Take the time to explore a woman's body before sex by offering a sensual rubdown beginning at the feet and then working your way up to the backs of the thighs and eventually the abdomen. Avoid the most obvious zones to create a level of anticipation for what is to come next. Create ambiance with candles and soft music and make sure the room is warm. You don't have to be a professional masseuse to do this. Use light strokes first and increase the pressure as you go along, but always check in with your partner to make sure she is comfortable. 6. Take Things Slow *This is so IMPORTANT, I wish more men would tap into this!!!! Its so worth it! Don't force issues, feelings or sex ever. Roll with it. Read her energy. “Learn how to communicate with and read body language. Don't ever plan on having sex. If it happens on the first night, it's totally fine but it is usually better to wait until you're both sure about the situation. Your goals should be to earn her trust and respect instead of thinking what's the next move to get into her bed. It will be different with all women,” says Hawk. Desperation and neediness are major turn-offs.

Looks mean nothing, without the heart.... As we age....we will loose our appearances...these are the things that will matter in the long run...... This post reminded me of this youtube video of Keith Urban singing to his wife Nicole Kidman. I'm not a big Keith Urban fan but I love these words...in his song fighter....this makes a sexy man! Lyrics I know he hurt you Made you scared of love, too scared to love He didn't deserve you 'Cause you're precious heart is a precious heart He didn't know what he had and I thank God, oh, oh, oh And it's gonna take just a little time But you're gonna see that I was born to love you What if I fall (I won't let you fall) (STRENGTH - the provider and protector) What if I cry (I'll never make you cry) (Emotional stability- providing balance) And if I get scared (I'll hold you tighter) When they're tryna get to you baby I'll be the fighter What if I fall (I won't let you fall) What if I cry I promise I'll never make you cry And if I get scared (I'll hold you tighter) When they're tryna get to you baby I'll be the fighter Look in the mirror You're beautiful, so beautiful (Affectionate) I'm here to remind you You're my only one, let me be the one (Faithful, and integrity, partnership) To heal all the pain that he put you through (Comforting, Spiritual Partnership) It's a love like you never knew (Giving) Just let me show you What if I fall (I won't let you fall) What if I cry (I'll never make you cry) And if I get scared (I'll hold you tighter) When they're tryna get to you baby I'll be the fighter What if I fall (I won't let you fall) What if I cry I promise I'll never make you cry And if I get scared (I'll hold you tighter) When they're tryna get to you baby I'll be the fighter I wanna believe that you got me baby I swear I do from now until the next life I wanna love, wanna give you all my heart What if I fall (I won't let you fall) What if I cry (I'll never make you cry) And if I get scared (I'll hold you tighter) When they're tryna get to you baby I'll be the fighter What if I fall (I won't let you fall) What if I cry I promise I'll never make you cry And if I get scared (I'll hold you tighter) When they're tryna get to you baby I'll be the fighter What if I fall What if I cry And if I get scared (I'll hold you tighter) When they're tryna get to you baby I'll be the fighter

I love Reiki(Energy Healing) and I love LOVE (God/Absolute Infinity)! Easy enough for me. Will Do! Dedication is key! Great video!

@JKG For me ....the meaning of life is to LOVE. When you Love yourself you have a life purpose and passion, so thus you can help others. We are at our best health when we LOVE, and have positive emotions. When we are sad and depressed our bodies are weak and they crumble and we get sick. It is not natural for us to not be happy. LOVE is the most powerful emotional and vibration that exists. God is LOVE aka absolute infinity. If everything is absolute infinity....aka LOVE.....why not be LOVE? Why not live what the TRUTH is?

@Everlast @egoeimai You should do what makes your body feel at it's best. Everyone's body is different and has different needs at different times and stages of their life. For me personally I was divinely guided to become a RAW vegan. (No cooked foods at all, and no animal based products). It wasn't really a personal choice (because honestly if I could eat pizza every day and be a ninja turtle that would be AWESOME lol). But my body doesn't work that way. I have extreme food allergies to various things that most people aren't allergic too. When I cleaned up my diet, I noticed a huge shift in my focus, being able to study, completing tasks, staying motivated, having plenty of energy, reversing health issues, and if you believe in the paranormal or spiritual realm...it can connect you to that too, and clear out your pineal gland, making it easier to meditate, etc. RAW vegan is my diet that will lead me to enlightenment and heightened personal development and awareness. The TRUTH is A healthy body (physical, mental and spiritual) will lead to an enlightened body. The real question is what works for YOU? What is going to put you in that state of mind so you can do this? And are you willing to give up those comfort foods that may be stopping you from the goals you want to achieve? Good luck on your journey!

@Key Elements Great Video, this guy has a point here. I was having the same problem!!! Doing too many things at once and it was making me physically sick! I see how hyper-focusing on one thing is really important to completing tasks. Thanks for the insight. I needed to see this!

God/Absolute Infinity. I would also say myself, but I don't really exist.

Good Question! As a single woman....I could say that yeah...there are a whole lot of physical things that make a man sexy, everyone has their personal preferences which if fine, but true sexiness is an inner skill that is developed. It is developed from the heart. If done correctly this can be a non-egotistic thing....this can be a very good personal development journey, especially for PUA guys. I was doing a search on google and I like this one specific article that comes up with a list of things that make a man "SEXY". I'm going to copy and paste. *And I personally agree with every single one of them. I've always personally been a sucker for intellect and sense of humor but all of them are really important. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/erica-jagger/things-that-make-a-man-hot_b_6546886.html 1. Strength — I don’t mean how much a man can bench press, although a nice set of pecs doesn’t hurt. I’m talking about internal-fortitude strength. Firmly-planted, I-know-who-I-am strength. There is nothing sexier than a man who’s grounded, who’s in command of the impulses and anger that may have derailed him when he was younger, whose quiet confidence telegraphs, without a hint of arrogance, that he has nothing to prove. 2. Vulnerability — A man isn’t strong unless he is also vulnerable. This means he can tell you what he wants, when he’s afraid, how you make him feel, what he did that he’s made amends for, what he’s overcome, what brings him to his knees. Without transparency, there can be no genuine intimacy, that ingredient that makes sex remain sexy when the initial high of infatuation dissipates. 3. Integrity — This ingredient separates the boys from the men. While they may dazzle in the beginning, womanizers, scoundrels, and narcissists use lies, cheap tricks, and smoke and mirrors for personal gain. There is nothing sexy about a man who pretends to be something he’s not, who lacks any depth of feeling, and who doesn’t care how much blood he leaves on the tracks. If you gave me a choice between bedding Don Draper and Atticus Finch, I’d choose that soft-spoken lawyer any day. 4. Intellect — A beautiful mind is sexy. IQ points are great, but that’s just a piece of smart. Critical thinking, an unquenchable thirst for learning, and a gift for distinctive self-expression create, for me, a kind of male siren’s song. I don’t care how gorgeous a man is; if he can’t entice me with his mind, the sexual chemistry won’t be there. 5. Sense of humor — A man who lacks a sense of humor is like a cold shower on legs. It’s impossible for me to connect with someone who’s ultra-literal, hyper-serious, and rarely laughs. For me, intellect and humor are inseparable bedfellows. Smart people read nuances and see the humor in situations. And the brand of humor is critical. Even if a guy is hot, if his version of funny doesn’t sync with mine, the sexy won’t stay sexy for long. 6. Warmth — It’s exhausting trying to connect with someone behind walls. Compassion, empathy, a ready smile, an easy laugh — these traits and actions are disarming in the best sense of the word. Kind is sexy. It just is. 7. Generosity — Stinginess is a turn-off. Not only stingy with money, but also stingy with feelings. While squandering one’s money and emotions indicate a lack of control or self-worth, counting pennies and withholding genuine contact suggest a preference for things over people. I’ve also found that stingy men aren’t as good lovers as their more generous counterparts. It’s not sexy to sleep with someone who holds back physically or emotionally in bed. 8. Affectionate — Affection is warmth in action. A soft kiss on the back of my neck as he walks by. A palm reaching through the hole in my jeans to squeeze my knee. Laying his head on my chest because it’s one of his favorite places to be. A man who loves touch for the sake of touch, whether or not it leads to sex, is sexy. 9. Mindfulness — Not that long ago, I was attracted to men so ambitious that they appeared to be driven by motors. What I’ve learned is that that kind of “ambition” often masks insecurity, avarice, and aggression, qualities which are not remotely appealing. Mindfulness — the ability to be aware and present in the moment, even if that moment is painful — is the ultimate form of ambition because it requires a commitment to personal growth that is not for the faint of heart. A man who radiates quiet confidence, who is able to remain calm and centered in the face of challenges, makes me weak in the knees. 10. Partnership — The only place I want to be dominated is in the bedroom, and that still requires my consent. In all other contexts I want a man who doesn’t try to dominate me, who understands the need for compromise, reciprocity, communication, and respect. I have no time or patience for men who play games and control women in order to feel like men. 11. Sexual confidence — True sexual confidence has nothing to do with penis size, smooth moves, and bedpost notches. It’s an ambience distilled from quiet authority, an ability to read my body and my breath, a sensual lingering in the moment that may or may not involve gazing in my eyes, but always requires a desire to be vulnerable and present. A sexually charged man who is in command of his urges and firmly situated in his sexual expression will turn me into a breathless, perpetually aroused Alpha Submissive in no time flat.

Peace and Love replied to paul2016's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Annie @paul2016 Thank you for bringing up this topic! I've never heard of New German Medicine, but I'm quite familiar with the effects emotions can play on our health. The Video you posted does briefly speak of the author Louise Hay who wrote the book "You Can Heal your Life. She talks about how certain thought patterns bring out specific diseases in the body. And the movie is right, there is so much more that we don't know about this....... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is what it says in the book: pg 8 All Dis-ease comes from a State of Unforgiveness. Whenever we are ill, we need to search our hearts to see who it is we need to forgive. The Course in Miracles says that "all dis-ease comes from a state of unforgiveness," and that "whenever we are ill, we need to look around to see who it is that we need to forgive." I would add to that concept that the very person you find it hardest to forgive is the one YOU NEED TO LET GO OF THE MOST. Forgiveness means giving up, letting go. It has nothing to do with condoning behavior. It's just letting the whole thing go. We do not have to know how to forgive. The Universe will take care of the hows. We understand our own pain so well. How hard it is for most of us to understand that THEY, whoever they are we need most to forgive, were also in pain. We need to understand that they were doing the best they could with the understanding, awareness, and knowledge they had at that time. When people come to me with a problem, I don't care what it is poor health, lack of money, unfulfilling relationships, or stifled creativity, there is only one thing I ever work on, and that is LOVING THE SELF. I find that when we really love and accept and approve ourselves exactly as we are, then everything in life works. It's as if little miracles are everywhere. As our health improves, we attract more money, our relationships become much more fulfilling and we begin to express ourselves in creatively fulfilling ways. All this seems to happen without our even trying. problem: Cancer probable cause: deep hurt, longstanding resentment. Deep secret or grief eating away at the self. Carrying hatreds. "what's the use?" new thought pattern: I lovingly forgive and release all of the past. I choose to fill my world with joy. I love and approve of myself. Problem: cold (upper respitory problem) probable cause: Too much going on at once. Mental Confusion an Disorder , small hurts. New Thought Pattern: I allow my mind to be at peace. Clarity and harmony are within me and around me. All is well. *The Cold thing sounds so much like me right now! I can't believe how accurate this stuff is! @Leo Gura Problem: Knee Problems Probable Cause: stubborn ego and pride. Inability to bend. Fear. Inflexibility. Won't give in. New Thought Pattern: Forgiveness. Understanding, Compassion, I bend and flow with ease, and all is well. Problem: Intestines Probable Cause: Assimilation, Absorption. Elimination with ease. New Thought Pattern: I easily assimilate and absorb all that I need to know and release the past with joy. There is so much more I can write on this. _--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I also was just recently certified as a Reiki Master (energy healing) and I was taught how to use a specific symbol to help heal disease and illness from the original source in the aura and energy fields. I was attuned to this specific symbol and tried an experiment on myself to see how far it would go. I recently got a cold last week, and I spent two hours (a few days ago) using the Reiki symbols and channeling energy to my body where it was needed. Within two hours I saw a significant improvement in my health, including a huge reduction in my coughing and sneezing. I did the same thing today and it's almost gone. I'm able to exercise again and move around while before I was stuck to a bed sleeping non stop. I noticed my thought patterns changing to while I was receiving the Reiki, because Reiki does deal with emotions and the subconscious mind. Great post. Thanks for sharing! So TRUE! -
Hi Actualized.org Family! I thought it would be great if we had a safe LOVING place to talk about our childhood vows (destructive or negative habits, behaviors, and beliefs). And what we are doing now to fix them (which includes creating new positive vows or affirmations to lead us towards success. These new vows will replace the old negative destructive ones). We all need and deserve LOVE and SUPPORT. Let me further explain. We have two parts to our mind: Our conscious mind and our subconscious mind. Our conscious mind is 10% of our brain and comprises of our logic, decision making and will power. And our subconscious mind makes up 90% of our brain and comprises of our habits, behaviors and beliefs. Thus you can see that we are what we believe ourselves to be. That is why so many people struggle and can't complete or achieve their goals and life purpose. They have an emotional blockage. They have a belief that is ingrained within their subconscious mind that prevents them from moving forward. But....If you change your beliefs and your vows...you can change your actions...and your actions will lead to success. When we have negative vows or beliefs they can lead to destructive habits and behaviors such as smoking, drinking, over eating, etc. And we use them as coping mechanisms rather than dealing with the issues at hand. Sometimes negative beliefs or vows can lead to phobias and extreme fears. Other times our negative vows can lead us to believe that we have no self worth or a low self esteem which in turn causes us to attract abusive relationships whether romantic, friendship or business. Let us come together with UNCONDITIONAL LOVE and SUPPORT. Let us come together with NON-JUDGEMENTAL eyes and ears as we all progress on our journey to spiritual enlightenment and unity.

HI Actualized.org Family! I wanted your input on this recent experience I've been having. As many of you know on here I practice Reiki Energy Healing so when I meditate I usually send reiki to myself and to other people usually via a prayer journal that I've created. To experience Reiki energy healing you don't have to be physically present to experience it's benefits. It can be sent distance wise, and can also bypass space and time and be sent into the past and into the future. It can also be sent to words on a piece of paper and the spiritual consciousness of the reiki energy sends healing to whatever you would like to focus on. If there is no specific intent on sending the energy, it will go where it is need the most whether physically, mentally, or spiritually. I decided to try a new meditation technique. Something completely new. So instead of sending healing energy to certain specific people, I send energy to the Earth and the entire Universe! Usually when I send out energy I get what I give out, and feel really calm and relaxed. This time it felt incredibly different. I imagine the Earth literally sitting in the palm of my hands and send energy to the Earth, but I also imagine the energy emanating from my body and just stretching out every where to everything. When I started to send energy to everything, without bias I felt this overwhelming sense of calmness and peace. In fact it was so strong that I was feeling unconditional LOVE and a sense of awww. I could feel my roles and my identity dropping, and my mind was completely wiped and empty. I just felt like this nothingness, a sense of just being, but it felt really good and I wanted to be there. I just wanted to MERGE with God/absolute infinity. I wanted to be the sea foam on the ocean, and the rain drops in a cloud. I've done this about 3 times already. The more I do this, the stronger it gets. It got so strong this time, I started feeling like I would literally give my life up for it! Like I would die for the universe because I love God so much. I don't know what is happening to me but I LOVE it!

Exposure to nature not only makes you feel better emotionally, it contributes to your physical wellbeing, reducing blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tension, and the production of stress hormones. It may even reduce mortality, according to scientists such as public health researchers Stamatakis and Mitchell. Research done in hospitals, offices, and schools has found that even a simple plant in a room can have a significant impact on stress and anxiety. Nature soothes In addition, nature helps us cope with pain. Because we are genetically programmed to find trees, plants, water, and other nature elements engrossing, we are absorbed by nature scenes and distracted from our pain and discomfort. This is nicely demonstrated in a now classic study of patients who underwent gallbladder surgery; half had a view of trees and half had a view of a wall. According to the physician who conducted the study, Robert Ulrich, the patients with the view of trees tolerated pain better, appeared to nurses to have fewer negative effects, and spent less time in a hospital. More recent studies have shown similar results with scenes from nature and plants in hospital rooms. Too much time in front of screens is deadly “Nature deprivation,” a lack of time in the natural world, largely due to hours spent in front of TV or computer screens, has been associated, unsurprisingly, with depression. More unexpected are studies by Weinstein and others that associate screen time with loss of empathy and lack of altruism. And the risks are even higher than depression and isolation. In a 2011 study published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, time in front of a screen was associated with a higher risk of death, and that was independent of physical activity! http://www.spring.org.uk/2014/07/10-remarkable-ways-nature-can-heal-your-mind.php 50% more creative Going into nature for an extended period can have remarkable effects on creativity. A recent study had participants take a four- or six-day trip into the wilderness. Their study showed that… “…four days of immersion in nature, and the corresponding disconnection from multimedia and technology, increases performance on a creativity, problem-solving task by a full 50 percent,” (Atchley et al., 2012) Why does it work? The psychologists explained: “Our modern society is filled with sudden events (sirens, horns, ringing phones, alarms, television, etc.) that hijack attention. By contrast, natural environments are associated with gentle, soft fascination, allowing the executive attentional system to replenish.” (Atchley et al., 2012) Reduce acute stress The Japanese are big fans of walking in the forest to promote their mental health. The practice is called shinrin-yoku, which literally means ‘forest bathing’. One study conducted by Japanese researchers has found that the practice is particularly useful for those suffering acute stress (Morita et al., 2006). Their study of 498 people found that shinrin-yoku reduced hostility and depression as well as increasing people’s liveliness compared to comparable control groups Ease dementia symptoms Gardens in care homes may have therapeutic benefits for those suffering from dementia, according to a review of 17 separate studies (Whear et al., 2014). Researchers at the University of Exeter Medical School found that gardens reduced patients’ agitation, encouraged activity and promoted relaxation. The study’s lead author, Rebecca Whear, said: “There is an increasing interest in improving dementia symptoms without the use of drugs. We think that gardens could be benefiting dementia sufferers by providing them with sensory stimulation and an environment that triggers memories. They not only present an opportunity to relax in a calming setting, but also to remember skills and habits that have brought enjoyment in the past.” Improve memory Short-term memory can be improved 20% by walking in nature, or even just by looking at an image of a natural scene. Marc G. Berman and colleagues at the University of Michigan wanted to test the effect of natural scenery on cognitive function (Berman, Jonides & Kaplan, 2008). In the first of two studies participants were given a 35 minute task involving repeating loads of random numbers back to the experimenter, but in reverse order. After this they were sent out for a walk – one group around an arboretum and the other down a busy city street – both while being tracked with GPS devices. They each repeated the memory test when they got back. The results showed that people’s performance on the test improved by almost 20% after wandering amongst the trees. By comparison those subjected to a busy street did not improve.

@Sarah Marie - I'm guessing it's called the Spiritual Eye. I've had two different distinct experiences. 1.) The first experience is I actually see an indigo blue dot every so often with my eyes closed. I'm not sure if it's the same thing as this. https://www.ananda.org/meditation/meditation-support/articles/the-spiritual-eye-what-is-it-what-it-looks-like-and-how-to-see-it/ 2.) The second experience is I've seen an actual physical eye look at me with my eyes closed. About a month ago I was going through the grieving process of my dad passing away (he died in October 2016). It got to the point where I did not want to live anymore (I was feeling suicidal but I just wanted the angels to take me so I could cross over and merge with God). So I asked my friend who was a reiki practitioner what to do. She told me to take a sea salt bath to help cleanse my aura and chakras. So I sat in the bathtub literally bawling my eyes out. With my eyes closed I saw the very same eye I've seen several times that has shown up randomly. This time it had a blue indigo pupil dot, but the rest of the eyeball was red. I told this eye that I saw that I wanted to go home, just take me already. I heard a voice in my mind that said "look at me, just look at me". When I looked into the eye it sent me healing energy in the shape of one of my reiki symbols in a blue sparkly outline. What ever that thing was that heard my cries ...the energy that it was sending was calming me down...I stopped and I started to feel more balanced, especially in my solar plexus. - I'm not making this up, this really did happen. Thank you so much for your responses!
