  1. Enlightened person like Mohammad is full of love and compassion, and yet he has the courage to accept and fight a war. His heart is utterly non violent, yet he plunges into the fire and fury of violence when it becomes unavoidable. Violence itself is not real, violent mind is real. It is true, you can desire to kill someone, although he cannot be killed. This is a different thing – that one cannot be killed – but if you desire to kill him then this desire is real, and this desire is sinful. Violence is not a sin, but the will to violence, a violent mind is certainly a sin. If you want to kill someone, it is enough of a sin. It is a different thing that you cannot kill, but your desire to kill is in itself sinful.
  2. It is materialistic to think that one is violent or non-violent. He is a materialist who believes he can kill someone, and he too is a materialist who thinks he is not going to kill anyone. Spirituality rejects both violence and non-violence.
  3. If you treat it as a problem, you can never get rid of it. If you start finding its solutions, you will become obsessed. The problem is existential, it is related with your being. You might be losing interest in the world. Try to increase your vitality, life energy. Have you tried the Osho Dynamic Meditation ?
  4. Weight training is a method to build muscles and good looking body but it is not a method of achieving absolute health. Weight training is not good for everyone, especially for intellectuals and people doing lot of mental work which requires thinking. Weight training has withdrawal effects, so weight training should be done very carefully. There is a stupid idea popular in the whole world that belly should be pulled in and chest should look larger, it hinders natural breathing. Breath is literally the bridge connecting all of these aspects of our being and our existence. When you are relaxed ,as the breath goes in, your belly starts rising up, and as the breath goes out, your belly starts settling down again. Try to see children, very small children, taking their breaths. They take them in a different way. Look at a child sleeping. His belly comes up and down, not the chest. That is the right way to breathe; remember not to use your chest too much. Sometimes it can be used – in emergency periods. You are running to save your life; then the chest can be used. Yoga can transform you if you know knack of doing yoga. Yoga can give you absolute health, but it can't give you quick results. Do yoga in the morning , after all other exercises, and in a very relaxed way. After doing yoga, relax for at least 15 minutes. If you have patience, yoga alone is curative. Live in a relaxed way, eat in a relaxed way, walk in a relaxed way, talk in a relaxed way.

  6. @alyra Buddha has used a strange word "no self" , the mystics have always used the word “self” for the interior-most core of your being. Buddha uses the word “no-self.” To use the word “self” - even if you use it with a capital “S,” does not make much difference. It continues to give you the sense of the ego. And with a capital “S,” it may give you an even bigger ego. Buddha does not use the words atma, atta - "self". He uses just the opposite words: “no-self” - anatma, anatta. He says that when mind ceases, there is no self left. You have become universal, you have overflowed the boundaries of the ego.
  7. Fully enlightened masters are very rare, A false master is a consolation, he gives you peace as you are, he never bothers to change you -- he is a tranquilizer. You come to him and he consoles. Even if a real master consoles you, that consolation is just like a fishing net. You will be caught in the consolation and then, by and by, he will create the chaos. You have to pass through the chaos, because as you are you are absolutely wrong. But to find a living Master one has to search, and in fact, all those false gurus help you in a way because experiencing them you become aware of that which is false. And to know the false as false is the beginning of knowing the true as the true, the real as the real. If you are absolutely clear about the false, suddenly you become clear about what is real, what is authentic. So even the false gurus are serving, in indirect way, to the real seekers.
  8. One can enter yoga, or the path of yoga, only when he is totally frustrated with his own mind as it is. If you are still hoping that you can gain something through your mind, yoga is not for you. So many become interested, but very few enter because your interest may be just because of your mind. You may be hoping now, through yoga, that you may gain something, but the achieving motive is there-you may become perfect through yoga, you may reach to the blissful state of perfect being, you may become one with the brahman, you may achieve the satchitananda. This may be the cause why you are interested in yoga. If this is the cause then there can be no meeting between you and the path which is yoga. Then you are totally against it, moving in a totally opposite dimension. Yoga means that now there is no hope, now there is no future, now there are no desires. One is ready to know what is. Unless this moment comes to you... You can go on doing asanas, postures; that is not yoga. Yoga is an inward turning. It is a total about-turn. When you are not moving into the future, not moving toward the past, then you start moving within yourself – because your being is here and now, it is not in the future. You are present here and now, you can enter this reality. But then mind has to be here. Unless you are ready to die, Patanjali's yoga is not for you.
  9. Before full liberation everyone passes through psychic realms , modern teachers intentionally not talk about them. Patanjali has cautioned seekers about them.
  10. It is much more than that, modern teachers never talk about psychic powers or Siddhis that are mentioned in scriptures.
  11. Then why do you believe that I am peaceful now ?
  12. Don't assume anything about the states of higher consciousness, you can't know about them by reading or viewing videos, unless you experience , you can't know. When you are awakened, your memories are not lost but you don't identify yourself with them , you remain witness to them, you don't judge them. Then memories don't disturb you. If past memories can disturb your serenity then you are not awakened. Don't think that only you have suffered in the past and your miseries are greater. My childhood was very horrible , my elder brother committed suicide but I managed to survive. Now my past can't make me miserable.
  13. My parents has done this no-spending challenge for their whole life. They became very rich but lived a miserable life. They were very egoist and were under the impression that they were very spiritual.
  14. Modern masters talk in this language because we are very miserable, cunning, ambitious and greedy. Jesus said, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." or "faith can move mountains" Modern masters can't talk in this manner, because we can't understand it.
  15. Rupert is speaking to modern western audiences, he can't speak about enlightenment in the way it is described in some Indian scriptures. Even Buddha removed all exotic, colorful, extraordinary associations with enlightenment , two thousand years ago, because Indians were trying to become extraordinary by pursuing enlightenment. Unless you are ready to remain ordinary , you can't grow spiritually. Masters can't tell the everything, when they speak about enlightenment, it is out of compassion. If they speak in the way it is described in some Indian scriptures, it will create hindrances for real seekers and attract wrong kind of persons towards spirituality, who can harm themselves and others.
  16. If she is awakened then her past can't influence her present behavior, if she is awakened then her past can't disturb her now. Don't expect that she will behave like normal victim of abuse, even after spiritual progress. Spirituality is inner transformation.
  17. What is the worst thing do you think, can happen (regarding Teal swan) ?
  18. This whole world is a struggle to be extraordinary. Some try it in politics, some try it in economics, some try it in religion. When everybody wants to be extraordinary, then to remain a ordinary person is extraordinary. The only miracle, the impossible miracle, is to be just ordinary.
  19. @Annetta She was a lingerie model. Excerpts from her blog: I was designed to suffer at the hands of men and to be hated by women. I could not cover my sexuality up, I could not tone myself down and so I allowed myself to slip to the dark side. I became a lingerie/nude model and figured, “fine, if this is what I am, then this is what I am… Let them use me and let them hate me”. But over the course of my healing process since then, I have learned some things that I want to share with you today.
  20. @Annetta We can't judge a mystic by his behavior, a lot of people criticize Teal Swan. She is not an enlightened master but she certainly has a higher consciousness.
  21. She is not praising Donald Trump. She said , "Donald Trump is not the problem. He is (and will continue to be) merely the reflection of human shadow. The true shadow, the true problem, is the conditions that put people in a such a state that they would feel so powerless and desperate in their rat cage that they could vote for Donald Trump in the 1st place."
