  1. Sensitivity can be shared in a thousand and one ways. The most fundamental is a lovingness, not a love relationship, but just pure lovingness without any conditions. Not asking anything in return: pouring your heart because it is overflowing with sensitivity onto people, even on strangers. Now scientists say, you can shake hands with a tree and if you are friendly, you will feel a tremendous sensitivity in the tree itself. There are old stories unbelievable, they cannot be factual, but one never knows .. may be they are factual. It is said whenever Gautama Buddha passed by, trees which had been without leaves suddenly grew leaves to give him shade. Whenever he sat under a tree, suddenly thousands of flowers blossomed and started falling over him. It may be simply symbolic, but there is a possibility of its being real too. And when I say that modern scientific research about trees is in my support. It was the first Indian Nobel Prize winner, Jagdish Chandra Bose who proved to the scientific world that trees are not dead. He was given a Nobel Prize for it, but since Jagdish Chandra Bose much has happened. He would have been tremendously happy if you could come and see what scientists have managed. Now they have something like a cardiograph attached to the tree. A man comes, a friend to the tree with love in his heart and the tree starts dancing even without any wind and the cardiogram becomes very symmetrical. The graph on the paper becomes almost a harmonious beauty. And when another man with an axe with the idea to cut the tree even though the has not come close, the graph of the cardiogram goes berserk. It loses all symmetry, all harmony. It simply goes insane: something is going to harm him. It is strange because he has not been harmed; it is just an idea in the woodcutter's mind. The tree is even so sensitive that catches your ideas. And the same man, with the axe, but not desiring to cut the tree, comes and the graph remains the same. There is no fear, no nervousness in the tree. And another thing they became aware of was that if one tree is trembling with fear, they had not thought about it, one scientist just put a few cardiographs on other trees surrounding the tree when the tree started trembling with fear, the other trees also participated. They must have been old friends growing in the same grove. They must have shared their love with each other, they must have been friendly. They also react immediately. The whole existence is full of sensitivity and man is the highest product of this existence. Naturally your heart, your being is ready to overflow. You have been hiding it, repressing it because your parents and your teachers have told you to be hard, to be strong because it is a world full of struggle; if you cannot fight and compete you will be nobody. So only a few people like poets, painters, musicians, sculptors who are no more in the competitive world, who are not hoping to accumulate billions of dollars, they are the only people who have left some trace of sensitivity. But a mediator is on the way to being a mystic. He will become more and more sensitive. And the more you share your sensitivity, your love, your friendliness, your compassion, the closer you will come to the goal of being a mystic. "My poor husband," said Mrs Ginsberg to her psychoanalyst dragging her husband behind her. "He is convinced he is a parking meter." The analyst looked at the silent, morbid fellow and asked, "Why doesn't he say something for himself? Can't he talk?" "How can he," said Mrs Ginsberg, "With all those coins in his mouth?" In my vision, a sannyasin is one who is making every effort to get rid of the insanity that he had been conditioned for. Sensitivity will help immensely to make you sane, sensible and if you go on moving in the right direction, it will become your meditation and finally your mystic experience of enlightenment.
  2. All these techniques are concerned with how to achieve the inner center. The basic mechanism used, the basic technique used is, if you can create a center anywhere, in the mind, in the heart, or even outside on a wall and if you concentrate totally on it and you bracket out the whole world, you forget the whole world and only one point remains in your consciousness, suddenly you will be thrown to your inner center. Your mind is just a vagabond, a wandering. It is never at one point. It is always going, moving, reaching, but never at any point. It goes from one thought to another. If you stop at A or B or any point, the mind will fight with you. The mind will say, "Move on," because if you stop the mind dies immediately. It is not important that chakras exist or not, but these techniques have helped many people. If imagining chakra or any other point makes anyone centered, peaceful and blissful, he can use the technique. I can give examples from the Vigyan Bhairav Tantra , where imagination is used for entering into a meditative state. (13.) Imagine the five coloured circles of the peacock tail to be your five senses in illimitable space. Now let their beauty melt within. Similarly, at any point in space or on the wall – untill the point dissolves. Then your wish for another comes true. (23.) Feel an object before you. Feel the absence of all other objects but this one. Then leaving aside the object-feeling And the absence-feeling, Realize. (5.) Attention between Eyebrows, let mind be before thought. Let form fill with breath essence to the top of the head and there shower as light.
  3. You continue, don't be disheartened, I love these debates !
  4. Leo never claimed that he is fully enlightened. Nobody is claiming that he is perfect. Which master's answers and videos are trustworthy for everyone? Nobody is forcing anyone to trust him. If he doesn't resonates with you, ignore him. Every master can't help everyone, why there are so many masters, each of them teaching different things? Buddha was a great master, but India has ignored him. He lived in India, but there are very few Buddhists in India. India was not prepared for his teachings. You can reject Leo, you have right to criticize him. What's stopping you ? There are hundreds of masters in Indian history, there followers criticize others masters and their teachings. No master is useful for everyone, if you don't find Leo useful, find another spiritual teacher if you are a seeker.
  5. You are working as a Yoga instructor and you have clients which are among the elite Buddhism monks. You are on the internet and destroying Leo Gura by arguments. These are not the ways of a mystic. Years of practice doesn't makes anyone a mystic. If you are a mystic, you must know that mystics are not found on internet discussion forums.
  6. Knowledge about chakras or about esoteric paths of bioenergy is generalized. It differs from individual to individual. There are chakras, but the number differs with each individual. One may have seven, one may have nine; one may have more, one may have less. That is the reason why so many different traditions have developed. It is not necessary to pass through chakras. One can just bypass them. If the energy flows upward and you have blocks in the passage, only then do you feel it. If kundalini moves and there are no blocks, then you will never feel any chakras. That is why someone may feel nine chakras, someone else may feel ten chakras, and someone else may feel only three or four, or one, or none. A theoretical acquaintance is not helpful and meditation as such is not really concerned with chakras at all.
  7. Jesus said “If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple."
  8. Time and space exist in consciousness, consciousness doesn't exist in time and space. A Buddha does not live in time, does not live in space. His body moves, we can see his body, but body is not the Buddha.
  9. Gheranda Samhita, Hatha Yoga Pradipika and the Shiva Samhita are three classic texts of hatha yoga, you can read them. Gheranda Samhita says that the performer of Khechari Mudra gains complete control over thirst, hunger, fainting and laziness etc; he too overcomes fear of physical ailments, decay and death. Hatha Yoga Pradeepika adds that the performer of Khechari Mudra gains immunity over deadly snake bites and poison too. 10. You deserved it, you can't choose more than what you deserve. If you don't accept it , you will create more miseries. If you accept everything good or bad that comes in your way , your life will transform. So, don't complain, don't resist, thanks for everything which you have but you take it for granted.
  11. @Shanmugam Do you agree that if he speaks like Osho , it will become difficult for him to survive in India ? PLEASE FORGIVE THE POOR INDIANS. They don t have anything else to brag about. You can brag about other things: money, power, atomic or hydrogen bombs, airplanes, that you have walked on the moon, that you have penetrated to the very secrets of life, your science, technology; you can brag about your affluence. Poor India has nothing else to brag about; it can only brag about something invisible so there is no need to prove it. Spirituality is such a thing you can brag about it and nobody can prove it, nobody can disprove it. For thousands of years India has suffered starvation, poverty, so much so that it has to rationalize it. It has rationalized it so that to be poor is something spiritual. The Indian spiritual man renounces all comforts and becomes poor. When he becomes poor, only then do Indians recognize him as spiritual. If he does not become poor, how can he be spiritual? Poverty has become the very foundation of Indian spirituality. The more poor you are, the more spiritual you are. Even if you are unhealthy, that is good for being spiritual; that shows your antagonism towards the body. Torture your body, fast, don't eat, don't fulfill the needs of the body, and you are doing some spiritual work. So you will look at Indian so-called spiritual saints and many of them will look physically ill, in deep suffering, in self-torture; their faces are pale because of fasting. But if you ask their disciples they will say, "Look, what a golden aura around the face of our saint!" I know such people -- just a feverish aura around their faces, nothing else! But their disciples will say, "A golden aura -- this is spirituality!" ~Osho
  12. Before you can lose your ego, you must attain it. The real can be known only through the false, so the ego is a must. One has to pass through it.
  13. Philosophizing is a poison, meditation is the antidote. Meditation means the very anti approach , anti to philosophy.
  14. Patanjali is the greatest name as far as the world of Yoga is concerned. He recommends Kriya-Yoga in chapter 2 of Patanjali's yoga sutras. tapah svadhyay-eshvarapranidhanani kriya-yogah ||1|| तपः स्वाध्यायेश्वरप्रणिधानानि क्रियायोगः ॥१॥ Verse 1. KRIYA-YOGA IS A PRACTICAL, PRELIMINARY YOGA, AND IT IS COMPOSED OF AUSTERITY, SELF-STUDY AND SURRENDER TO GOD. Verse 2. THE PRACTICE OF KRIYA-YOGA REDUCES MISERY, AND LEADS TOWARDS SAMADHI.
  15. What is your daily routine ? Do you think too much ? In India many escapists are there, sitting in their Himalayan caves and just vegetating. The real silence has to be in the marketplace, in the crowd. When nothing distracts you, then you are centered.
  16. Forget about paranormal abilities, you can't grow into a meditator, if you are in a hurry. What are you going to do in the remaining twenty-three hours and forty minutes?
  17. COME, COME, WHOEVER YOU ARE; COME, COME, WHOEVER YOU ARE; WANDERER, WORSHIPPER, LOVER OF LEARNING... IT DOES NOT MATTER. OURS IS NOT A CARAVAN OF DESPAIR. COME, EVEN IF YOU HAVE BROKEN YOUR VOW A THOUSAND TIMES. COME, COME, YET AGAIN COME. Jalaluddin Rumi made a meditation of whirling.
  18. @Cortex In Indian state of Bihar, government hospital uses black magic to treat patients instead of doctors. The doctors are afraid of the occultists and don’t dare to speak anything. The woman on whom the black magic is performed was bitten by a snake. The occultist claims that his black magic completely cured the woman.

  20. We are not yet blissful and peaceful people, if your mind is in a lot of turmoil, the chances are that you will come in contact with evil spirits, because then you are like an open door for them.
