  1. Everybody is not prepared for death of physical body, almost everybody wants to survive without miseries.
  2. Spiritual journey is very long in most cases. We need personal development for our survival, so that we can continue our journey smoothly. We can't surrender to existence right now, we can't accept everything happening as it is, we want to survive. A person who doesn't do personal development will find difficulty in survival in modern society. In eastern civilizations , personal development was not necessary for a spiritual person to survive.
  3. A scientist is a person engaging in a systematic activity to acquire knowledge that describes and predicts the natural world. Science was considered a "branch" of philosophy. That's why we still go on giving PhD's to scientists. PhD means doctor of philosophy.
  4. Ultimately, there is no division. You are the knower, you are the known, you are the seer, you are the seen, you are the experiencer, you are the experienced , only you are. Swami Ram Tirth always said, 'The moon and the stars, revolve within me, the sun rises within me.' People like Ramtirth have expounded upto cosmic-body. The endless boundaries of the universe are now their boundaries, so they will experience all revolvings within themselves. Such an individual can say, 'I see the world being created and being destroyed, I see the moon and stars taking births and dying.' So, when there is no time, there is no space, only you are.
  5. There have been men like Marpa, Milarepa, Naropa, Tilopa , great siddhas , and they all used to drink, now this is delicate, but they never got drunk. They achieved to such crystallization of consciousness that the whole body is filled with alcohol but it doesn’t affect them. Alan Watts was a drunkard. Before he was dying, he was still drinking and a disciple asked him, "Have you ever thought... if Buddha had seen you drinking alcohol, what do you think he would have thought about it?" Alan Watts said, "There is no problem. I always drink in an enlightened way." The question is not what you do, the question is how you do it.
  6. King Trisong Detsen, ruler of Tibet, was the emanation of an Enlightened Being and only had one wish, to establish the sacred Dharma teachings in his kingdom.

  8. Mahatma Gandhi in India became celibate — he was nearabout forty — because he wanted to live up to the age of a hundred and twenty-five to fight the freedom struggle and to bring it to a conclusion. That was the reason to go into celibacy — to prolong life. There is a possibility that if by some scientific means a man’s sexual energy is absorbed in his own body, the body will go on renewing, rejuvenating itself for a long time. But ordinarily these so-called celibates are not celibate. The energy is released in some way or other. Even at the age of seventy, Mahatma Gandhi was having nocturnal emissions. Mahatma Gandhi has said — and he was one of the most honest men — that even at the age of seventy he was having wet dreams. He has said, “I have come away from sex as far as my conscious mind is concerned but the moment I fall asleep I cannot do anything. In dreams, sexual imagery comes in and the semen moves out.” He was honest.
  9. In tantra, particularly in "leftist" tantra, they use alcohol to help meditation. It looks absurd; it is not. The seeker will take alcohol in a particular quantity and then will try to be alert. Consciousness must not be lost. By and by the quantity of alcohol will be raised, but the consciousness must remain alert. The person has taken alcohol, it has been absorbed in the body, but the mind remains above it; consciousness is not lost. Then the quantity of alcohol is raised higher and higher. That is one of the ways of tantra, a method: one has to go on increasing the amount of alcohol and getting attuned to it, but remaining conscious. First you take just one teaspoonful. you remain conscious; then two; then three; then you go on. Then you drink the whole bottle. But now you are so attuned your consciousness is not disturbed; then alcohol won’t do. Through this practice a point comes when any amount of alcohol can be given and the mind remains alert. Then you move to more dangerous drugs.
  10. Science is perfect term to describe the search for the facts about objective world. Scientific facts can always change with new findings. Science is exploration into the objective world. A scientist can tell you earth is round or flat , if you are referring bible for shape of earth, you are looking at wrong place. If you want to know about soul, God; don't ask a scientist. Subjective world is not territory of science. 'Objective science.'
  11. The emperor Ashoka (Died 232 BCE) is considered to be one of India's greatest monarchs. Historian call him Enlightened. Ashoka, was so troubled by the effects of the conquests on humanity that he converted to Buddhism. Asoka went under the Bodhi tree and found enlightenment. This was the same tree that the Buddha sat under. Ashoka was responsible for the spread of Buddhism. Chandragupta Maurya (Died 297 BC) , great king Ashoka was the grandson of the famous ruler Chandragupta Maurya. Chandragupta was the first emperor to unify India into one state. Chandragupta Maura sought enlightenment by becoming a Jain. Pre historic enlightened kings Krishna Janaka
  12. Faith means hoping for that which seems almost impossible. Faith means hoping against all hope. Faith is that which is given; trust is that which is found. Faith is given by your parents; trust has to be found by you. Faith is given by the society; trust you have to search and seek and inquire Trust is personal, intimate.
  13. If you want to remember your dreams, taking vitamin B6 supplements before going to bed may help, suggests new research from University of Adelaide in Australia. http://www.thehealthsite.com/news/want-to-remember-your-dreams-take-this-vitamin-pill-ag0418/
  14. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (Matthew 6:33) You just live in God, that's all, and the rest happens by itself. First seek the divine, and the rest will automatically follow. If you keep searching for everything else you will not get it and you will miss the divine as well. Live herenow as totally as possible, as fully alert as possible, and as lovingly as possible; and all else will be added unto you.

  16. People who are spiritually-oriented are stargazers. Sheela was not a stargazer. The reason Osho had appointed her, his secretary. Osho was silent for three and a half years, and in that silent period the group of Ma Anand Sheela exploited the innocent sannyasins. All communication flowed from Sheela to the rest of the commune, and the world outside it. Sheela only served 29 months of that sentence as part of the plea deal bargaining.
  17. Out of 5000 followers, only few disciples betrayed him and tried to destroy commune (Rajneeshpuram). Everyone knows that Osho was arrested and presented in US courts. Government authorities tried to prove charges against him in every way. But they failed to prove it. In 1985 Sheela pleaded guilty to attempted murder and assault for her role in the bioterror attack. She was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison and paroled after 29 months. Muhammad and Krishna were directly responsible for many killings. Jesus was directly responsible for whipping and terrorizing money lenders. Osho was not directly responsible for bio-terror attack. Existence work in secret ways. Judas betrayed Jesus , he was crucified, but he became Christ. Crucifixion was not a positive thing, he preached for three years but he could have preached for thirty years more.Jesus was crucified between the two thieves, he was treated as a criminal. You can see the result of thing which went terribly wrong. Almost all images and sculptures of Christ show him in great pain on the cross. The priests say that Christ suffered for our sins. It seems that crucifixion is responsible for popularity of Jesus. We can't conclude that betrayal by some of his followers will prove to be a disaster in future. The hate against Osho has given him too much negative publicity and media coverage, otherwise he may have died unnoticed by mainstream society.
  18. My whole life was devoted for spiritual growth. Meditation is an attitude not an activity. It is the attitude of being in the present the essential thing. To develop psychic powers, you must understand, how to create , conserve life energy and refrain from unnecessarily wasting it.
  19. I developed some psychic powers, but quickly lost them. I was forced to do a job which drained all my energy and I was not able to maintain discipline required to sustain them. It is very arduous to develop psychic powers if you want to adjust in society.

  21. Focus on the visualization of a nice fat bank account of a few million, but if there is a belief in our unconscious mind that we don’t deserve to be rich, that we will never win the lottery. No matter how much and for how long you visualize those millions, you will never get them! Conscious mind is not what is running our lives. Our lives are run by the sub-conscious mind.
  22. You are such a miser. Just twenty minutes in twenty-four hours…not even twenty-four minutes!
  23. What was he doing before he created the universe? Who created God, if everything needs a creator ?
  24. Western world has been told to keep his head high. He has been educated not to surrender in any case; it is better to die than to surrender. To bow down to a master's feet are the moments when you have put your ego aside. The ego is afraid to bow down. Buddhist Mantra in Pali Language is Buddham Sharanam Gacchami – I take refuge in the Buddha Sangham Sharanam Gacchami – I take refuge in the Community Dhammam Sharanam Gacchami – I take refuge in the Ultimate Teaching The Bible tells us that Jesus is the Good Shepherd and that we are his sheep. Do you find this 'a low conscious teaching' of Buddha and Jesus ?
  25. Nothing went wrong, we can't understand ways of an enlightened master to spread his message. Even Jesus was not moving with respectable people of the society, rabbis, saints and priests. He was living with laborers, farmers, gardeners, fishermen, woodcutters, beggars, prostitutes, gamblers, drunkards. Jesus is crucified, because he was not fulfilling the expectations of the society. Judas , who saw so many miracles and heard so much of the Master's teaching could ever betray him into the hands of his enemies. What happened to Judas? He was very close to Jesus. When Jesus was crucified all the disciples escaped, they all ran away. Only Mary Magdalene watched Jesus's crucifixion from a distance. In ad 591, Pope Gregory I declared Mary Magdalene a prostitute. Paul was beheaded. Peter was crucified, upside down. Andrew, said to have been crucified. Thomas, died when pierced through with the spears. Philip, arrested and cruelly put to death. Matthew was stabbed to death. Bartholomew, there are various accounts of how he met his death as a martyr for the gospel. James, was stoned and then clubbed to death. Simon the Zealot, was killed after refusing to sacrifice to the sun god. Matthais was the apostle chosen to replace Judas. Tradition sends him to Syria with Andrew and to death by burning. John is the only one of the company generally thought to have died a natural death from old age. At first, Christianity was declared illegal by the Romans, and for 300 years Christians suffered persecution. Do you think everything went wrong? No, Jesus succeeded in spreading his message !
