  1. Has anyone here tried the "note gone" meditation and if so please share your experience, how long you have practiced and what benefits did you notice in your day-to-day life?
  2. Try washing your eyes with cold water before meditation, it might help. By the way are you meditating with closed/open eyes?
  3. To be honest, I wouldn't trade our current time for any time in history.
  4. @Kserkkj Use both methods! DO NOT stop meditating. But if you're really serious about self inquiry I recommend that you read Ramana Maharshi's "Be As You Are".
  5. Does the do nothing technique actually work? I mean, it looks way too simple.

  7. I've been meditating for a month ( Zazen ) and I am starting to have massive doubts. I don't have a teacher, and there's no teacher even close to where I live. I am really afraid that all that time I spent meditating was for nothing, that I did something wrong. I am currently practicing the breath counting method. I am not sure what to do, if any experienced practitioners could give me some advice I'd appreciate that.

  9. Why is anything more important then anything else? The thing is IT IS NOT! Why? Well, first lets see why things are bad,good,important,unimprotant etc... it's because you assign meaning to it. Which does not exist in reality itself. reality exists to exist.

  13. @JohnnyBoy You assign meaning to anything. <--- Now read this a few times and try to make it sink into your head.
  14. @Feeble Dave Try to sit longer and longer slowly of course. Your legs will still get numb but the pain will get weaker and weaker.
  15. What are you interested in? What are you good at? Have you read any business books? What is going to be the purpose of your business? Keep asking yourself more questions and you will know the answers.

  23. @Prabhaker Thank you for your time and advice @Prabhaker. I think you're right, the reason I had no motivation to meditate is probably because I was going way to fast then I should have. ( 1 and a half hours a day on the start )
