  1. @MarkusSweden I use both.
  2. @Prabhaker Lemme guess, Osho?
  3. Lol. I did one of those in another thread a while back. I'll post it here.
  4. I have memories from childhood where I would wake up during the night and get out of my bed and walk around a bit because things looked so weird. I remember looking at the walls and the ceiling and it looked like it was coming towards me, like it was very close and that it was an extremely intense presence of it. It was so fucking THERE in some way. Kinda smacking me in the face with it's presence, lol. Scary as hell.
  5. @Thanatos13 Maybe I misunderstand you. Don't know. But you need to feel a sense of purpose and meaning? and since you don't experience that and don't know what that should be for you, you feel no motivation to get up in the morning?
  6. @Thanatos13 I made an edit in my post so it may be clearer.
  7. @Thanatos13 Sorry to hear you're struggling. Don't expect a forum to help you with your depression. People aren't really qualified for that here. Even thou they try to help and mean well. They are not licensed therapists and Leo doesn't claim to be either. I've seen many people that have created threads about their depression and expect to be helped from it. There isn't really an easy fix anyone can give you. All people can do here is to push you in the right direction and advice on what your next move should be. Depression is more complex than just hoping what someone will write in a comment will suddenly get you out of it. Some people may need a lot of therapy which a forum can't give. But this forum can help with a lot of other stuff when it comes to personal development. But mostly push in the right direction. Some of what people say when they try to help with depression may have truth in it, but doesn't really help right now. Especially when going at it from a spiritual/non dual perspective. It sounds nice but doesn't really do anything at this moment. I suggest getting help from a therapist or someone that is qualified and have experience helping people with depression.
  8. @Feel Good Thank you! Nailed it. Very good advice what you last wrote. But Joseph will you listen?
  9. @Cortex I often think like this too. Maybe we should ask ourselves what emotions we experienced more of in childhood that we now miss. Instead of thinking I miss these things, these people, these situations. What emotions did we get from this that we don't experience much of now? What emotional needs isn't fullfilled?
  10. Shame and low self-esteem that stems from childhood?
  11. It doesn't say me much because I haven't studied spiral dynamics anything yet
  12. @Feel Good Stop spamming.
  13. (yes I will shut up after this post (probably) of respect to OP because it's derailing) You gave an opinion. And I gave another opinion on what you wrote. If I see someone write something I think isn't true then I challenge it. It's a discussion forum. Others read this also and it could benefit them if they get to read several perspectives. Lol @ the passive-aggressiveness in the end there.
  14. I don't believe that. That this causes more stress. Maybe. I definitely believe that the animals in those trucks are very stressed already. For many reasons. Not because they think "oh I'm going to get slaughtered now". More that they don't know what the fuck is going on and feel unsafe and uncertain. New experience. Also the ride can be very rough I heard. Some get hurt. Bouncing around, often in darkness, in a small space, jam packet with others to the sound of a big truck. And it probably wont take long before they smell blood and hear screams outside the slaughterhouse. But let's now say that they do get more stressed when activists do this. Then congratulations . ONE thing is found of what activists do that puts stress on animals. ONE thing to pick on. But then to be fair we must also mention that farmers and butchers puts the animals under stress in sooo many more ways. And it suddenly diminishes in comparison. Also remember how many ways activists fight for reducing and eliminating stress in animals.
  15. @Leo Gura You're right. Thanks.
  16. @Leo Gura I know that many people just don't know enough, just as I didn't know anything before I started researching these industries either, so I can understand and accept that easier. So I feel it's more forgiving when people don't know any better. But when people do know.. that's when I get triggered. When people get educated but still comes up with excuse after excuse
  17. @StardewValley I know, I know It's a tough awakening. People wonder why some vegans are angry. I think it's basically because one realizes that it's so much cruelty to animals in so many ways in these industries and almost everyone supports it. Even thou the majority of people would say they are against animal cruelty and that they are animal lovers. You wake up and see this hypocrisy and ignorance everywhere. Even in family and friends. It becomes so clear that every excuse is just a selfish way of defending animal cruelty. Vegans want to end this cruelty, and they are called the crazy ones I can understand that people don't like aggressive and militant vegans and I don't think that's the right approach. But I can't blame people who act that way. They're just passionate. Her book: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DHK9P5K/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_hsch_vapi_taft_p1_i0
  18. What do you feel when you watch this video? Do you feel compassion? Anger? Keeping in mind that he murdered 17 people who died in terror, wounded 17 more, all the others he traumatized and the lives of relatives he destroyed. Do you think it could have been prevented if his brother were more open and loving to him like he shows in this video? Some related videos:
  19. I agree with you guys completely. There's no one to blame of course. People just need love
