  1. Is there any way of reducing the number/stressfulness of what's overwhelming you (I don't know the details, but more of a question I'd ask myself if I was trying to figure things out)? My siblings are thriving in their own way. I wouldn't say that we are thriving "more" or "less" than each other. Everyone is living their own truth. Even though your gut is not an accurate barometer, I doubt anyone can answer the questions you have better than yourself. Even a spiritual teacher would probably gently tell you to look inward for an answer. Is one of these reactions a soul reaction, and/or a mind reaction?
  2. I don't think purified and distilled are the same. Look at the nutritional information on the bottle and see what's in there. For distilled water, everything should be 0. I'm not sure about the coconut water either. Maybe compare the type and quantity of electrolytes from your tap water (maybe available from your city) to the type and quantity from coconut water?
  3. When we go to nothingness, I'll be experiencing going to nothingness
  4. Don't drink distilled water. It has no electrolytes in it, which your body needs.
  5. Interesting, the forum poll is almost inverse of the general population poll, if you take out most of the extroverts. Edit: INFJ, but marginally. Literally the lowest of the general population.
  6. @Revolutionary Think Sure, I sometimes use this to counteract feeling like a weirdo for not forming the kinds of friendships that I see and idealize in others. Problem is, doing that is an ego trap.
  7. @Russell I don't think it contradicts at all. They all have the same message fundamentally. If you have a self, getting to know it gives best clues to help you get to "no-self." Have you seen Leo's video on paradoxes. Some messages which sound paradoxical and contradictory now will become clearer when you're ready to hear them.
  8. @Paradigm The decision to be open to change.
  9. Don't have to press play to know there's probably nothing worth rebutting here.
  10. Not sure about the authority part but I think you get the drift
  11. Unfortunately then it became truer and truer.
  12. So the anxiety about what you think society asks of you and wanting to fulfill that? I have felt pressured by what I perceive as societal expectations of nicety, only I was (am) unable to fulfill them. So in your example, this is me: 1. Difficult route A - talk to them; fulfill societal expectations 2. Difficult route B - act how I feel; contravene societal expectations My steam valve ended up being pretending to be oblivious, angry, or sad so that no one would expect me to talk to them. ha!
  13. So doing the more beneficial thing in a situation is emotionally hardest? But why?
  14. @Shin Is introversion a thing? Or just another label we've created to try to understand each other?
  15. @Boogie Maybe you're not happy with your decision because it comes from a negative perspective and that bothers you? What part of you is having doubts?
  16. Sounds like how to be a Canadian too, with some minor edits 1. but pretend you actually are very smart 7. be smug because we're not the US.
  17. It's funny, these gifts from the universe have different challenges based on the consciousness climate. For Jesus it was about a family structure metaphor. For Bashar it is about an alien/transdimensional being channeling through a human. There are tons more clues everywhere for people if/when they are ready. So no need to be sad Just focus on your own journey.
  18. @pluto Thanks, never heard of Bashar but he's great! Hilarious and true. I wasn't expecting him/them to resonate because of the aliens and channeling thing, but it makes sense.
  19. @John Flores Curious to know more about your ideas. I don't know any of the names you brought up. Where do they come from?
  20. hahaha yeah. I went through a phase where I'd break the game and tell people that I don't like talking about the weather, or that I don't like small talk. That didn't go over very well; it just made other people anxious which in turn made me more anxious. So I decided to play the game again. Now it's more fun. But still difficult to remember when there are a lot of people involved in the interaction.
  21. You can come up with your definition of what a friendship is, too! Different people have different definitions. Some definitions I've observed: Using other people to not feel alone People with like-minded views All humans are friends! People who are in close proximity People who "validate" your existence People who are attractive People who are cool People to share ideas with People to share food with But maybe the best way is to figure out what you think you want out of friendship, and then keep that in mind as you meet people in the world. To create a friendship, the first step is to initiate a dialogue. To maintain one, continue the dialogue.
  22. Wow, this is wonderful!!! I have just one question: Can you elaborate on this idea? Is the idea that if you don't join in the game with all the masks surrounding you, that you embody devil?
