  1. @Saarah I know why I'm backsliding and I'm going to distance myself from the things that make me. But now I'm in the process of rebuilding that's why I'm asking should I rebuild them one by one or go straight back in to all of them? Since I've previously already made them?
  2. @Mad Max That's generally how long it takes to build up a habit? And Leo always emphasizes to start slow and build 2/3 rather than 6 or else it will be too hard. @Leo Gura I would love some help from you Leo since I'm really struggling with this and you seem to know a lot about this
  3. What I love: The ability to grow myself. Teaching others. To help people. to come up with new ideas and implement them. Having the ability to travel the world. Having the ability to follow my hobbies. Learning things I find interesting/ challanging, but not too challanging. Competition. What I don't like: What dont I like Having to deal with tough/ neurotic people Having an unhealthy lifestyle. being forced to work a ridiculous amount of hours. e.g. 10+ hours a day my A levels= Politics, Economics, and History. What degree pays well and fits these? I was thinking of doing finance and accounting but I don't find it enjoyable, I just like the pay.
  4. @Key Elements I got that book lying on my bookshelf. But, more importantly I'm curious as to why you said that. So, why did you recommend that book?
  5. @Shiva I was interested in accounting for the money and the skills, so maybe that will be a safe option for me, considering that I want to start a online business. Thanks for the advice bro
  6. @Laputan Machine lol, what about Connor Mcgregor, he is considered small. He's my height
  7. @cle103 Neither have I, lol. But remember Leo said that may take you anywhere from 1-20 years to find your life purpose. So try be diligent bro and hopefully you will find it. I would recommend that you try take your top values and strengths then try find a job/business that fits the majority of them. Good luck!
  8. Thanks @Nahm but I now drink Evian instead of fluoride polluted water, which should help decalcify the pineal gland. But, I will continue to eat meat and use fluoride in toothpaste, it's really silly to think that people use no fluoride toothpaste, because there really is no point to brushing your teeth if you don't have fluoride, ask any dentist and he will tell you this! But, even though I only removed fluoridated water I think that removes 90-95% of fluoride from my diet, so I'm good bro. But thanks anyway, and I hope you're doing well! Lol the cinnamon stick on the last product is what people in India put into their toilets , that picture just reminded me of my grandma's toilet Additionally, I love how the clever marketer says made with real plant based food, but it's a peanut butter chocolate bar , to appeal to the low consciousness within you.
  9. I would recommend that you all watch this video, as it can have a profound effect on your lives if you the teaching shown!
  10. I would ask myself what's the most emotionally difficult positive thing I could do in this situation? Then that is what I would do. This is simple to understand, but hard to execute. But, t simple sentence's rule can have a profound effect on all areas of your life. Also, the mind like to over exaggerate this amount of time you've been trying to do something. E.g. if you ask someone how many times have you watched Star Wars they may same "Man, I've seen it like 20 times!" But, have they really? Obviously not. Similarly I doubt you've been helping for years if you're upset by the fact that they need help now. So don't let the mind fool you, and so always be mindful of how it may be distorting reality.
  11. @Siim Land Subscribed.
  12. I've been having the same issue bro, to be honest with you I'm always measuring myself with a tape measure and comparing my height to that of celebrities to make sure I'm not below average height so women find me attractive, but I am . But then I realized I only do this because I want to seem attractive to others and get girls. But, you have to realize that this is just something you don't really require in life, life is so rich and so beautiful you don't need any of these distractions. Enjoy reality for what it is, and realize that there are things that are far more important/profound than having sex. This can be found through meditation. I know you must feel sad/frustrated too, but just accept yourself for who you are. Love yourself, because no one else will love you like you will. What I suggest you do is do is watch the vid below; do the exercise daily and meditate daily and that should solve the problem bro. Also watch some Rupert Spira. Really hope you can overcome this I know how bad it can feel <3
  13. You will find that the deeper you get into to spiritual work the harder it will be to relate to others who aren't doing it. Judging by how you've written this, it seems like your parents or whoever is close to you is hindering your progress by not giving you the support/ freedom that you need along the path. Thus, the best thing you can do is have a talk with them to change their mind about the topic, but if that doesn't work I would limit your time around them by as much as possible or potentially move out. That's the simple solution, but it's difficult to execute. Also, take a look at the video below:
  14. @harisankartj It's very hard to give a description of it. Echkart Tolle himself said this, thus it is more vital that you get in touch with being, but it's like being it touch with reality in a magical way, similar to how a fascinated/ curious child is. Hence, it a state that is very blissful. That's why @sgn has literally written nothing. So it is clear that you will find that the deeper you get in to spiritual work the harder it will be to explain to others not doing the same work. That's why it's explaining spirituality is paradoxical! And sounds so contradictory!
  15. @Pelin I'm in a situation where I want to be the best version of myself possible both in terms of spirituality and health, but I still want to have my teeth till I'm old so I can eat and smile. But, now that you cleared it up I think I'll continue eating meat for protein and brushing my teeth with fluoride, but making sure I don't swallow it. Also, to limit fluoride consumption to open up my pineal gland I'll start drinking bottled water, since my family already buys it. So, I suppose that removes 90% of the fluoride from my diet. Thanks for all the suggestions guys <3 no homo (nothing wrong with that though if you are)
  16. @Siim Land My brother's a professional Dentist and he says baking soda literally destroys your teeth overtime. Also, do you have any high protein/ healthy substitutes for meat? I try to eat as healthy as possible but I can't reach my protein requirement without it, also according to what you said I still need 124g of protein a day, I find that hard to reach eating meat products which are super high in protein e.g. Lean Chicken Breast, so how can I get that from veg? + I'm pretty sure eating food high in fat causes you to get fat, that's why personal trainers suggest to keep carbs + protein high and fat low.
  17. @phoenix666 Not enough protein, I'll have to eat like 20 plates of it just to get enough protein. And I don't want to do that, since I hate eating shit tons of food.
  18. @LaucherJunge So, I can't replace my toothpaste. However, it seems like nuts are too high in fat, I want to stay lean and not gain weight. Do you recommend anything that gives 30g of protein for eating a small amount e.g. chicken breast? that is low in fat similar to chicken breast?
  19. Such a large proportion of the population focus on materialism. Why is it bad for them? Why do they need it? How do we reduce materialistic items in life? How do we live a simple/ sage like life? To have greater levels of happiness. How important is this on a global scale e.g. Western Society vs Eastern. @Leo Gura
  20. @pluto I heard a lot of flour promotes fat storage and makes it harder to lose weight is this true?
  21. Hey guys, regularly I have been eating Jacob's plain cream crackers with nothing on them, but I'm trying to lose weight and become healthy. No jam, no jelly, no butter, no cheese. They are made of: Flour (84%) (Wheat Flour, Calcium, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Vegetable Oils (Palm, Sunflower), Vegetable Fibre (Inulin, Pea) (3%), Wheat Bran (3%), Raising Agent (Sodium Bicarbonate), Barley and Barley Malt Extract, Yeast. and have: (1 Serving=1 Cracker/8g) Calories34, Protein0.8, Carbohydrate5.3, Fat 1, Fibre0.3 I usually eat 7/8 crackers daily to make sure I'm getting enough carbs. Is this healthy? I substituted this for nature valley honey and oats bars. But, I can't really have a lot of fibre atm. Since my body is getting used to having Leo's smoothie's for breakfast.
  22. @Clint Eastwood probably like once a day
  23. Hey Guys, to be honest with you I'm really confused right now, and not sure what to do with life, besides meditate. So yesterday, I was watching Leo's video have an enlightenment experience with the neti neti method. First I did it once, and nothing (I knew the answer in my head was that I am nothing, because I listened to Rupert Spira) But I didn't experience it, so I felt like saying that I was enlightened then was me fooling myself. I did it again, and nothing. I did it again whilst brushing my teeth before going to bed and asked myself what am I? I then felt like all the dots were connecting in my head I saw how I was just awareness and since I am awareness I will never die, since it will always be around and it is infinite, I thought I am everywhere, I am everything, I am everyone but no one. I am god, and before I was born I was always alive as well, as the awareness was always there. So then I looked at myself in the mirror and had a huge grin on my face. But then I was kind of saying to myself in my head shut up, when I asked myself am I enlightened? So what was this? I'm so clueless right now because I read about spiritual enlightenment happening to others and I heard they started crying and dancing with joy and screaming and falling to the ground? So I thought since I did none of that stuff, so surely I can't have had an enlightenment experience since mine was a bit underwhelming? This was all yesterday btw. But I've realized that I've also lost my anger issues and no longer tempted to watch porn. What did I have? I don't think it was enlightenment also because, I'm not filled with happiness and love like people like Sadhuguru and Rupert Spira are? I just feel normal and confused and a bit demotivated to go to the gym now that I have realized there is no I. I'd love some help @Nahm @Loreena @ajasatya @Shin I suppose you guys seem to have a fair amount of knowledge about this or may even have had a similar experience, so I'd love your help/suggestions in a confusing time like this.
  24. @abgespaced To get an infinite amount of questions to answer for people, just go to the suggested video section on the forum and answer the questions that Leo doesn't.
  25. @kuwaynej That's like saying my alcohol addiction is good for me, because I get to run away from my problem, rather than face them, to get rid of them. Sure, I'm sure your bad diet is great for you as well, because it's an emotional crutch for your problems. But, sure it depends on how fucked your life is. @phoenix666 I think so.
