  1. @Harvey Adding to what Leo said, if you would like to improve your english vocabulary then try and read a dictionary and do that daily, to really improve quickly and try to use new words that you find, as much as possible when you come into contact with others who speak English. Also, once you become very good at reading and writing English by using the Dictionary, try to pick up a thesaurus, which will expand your English vocabulary, even further within the foreseeable future. But, make sure you do plenty of reading and writing whilst using that dictionary, as that will have the greatest affect on your language and communication. Which will result in your English improving a lot. Good luck!
  2. @Akeberg find the one that says black in the title (not going to say the full name, or else others may try get it for free, without giving any form of credit to Leo) that book helped me out immensely, and many others. It's the best book in the book list to aid you with not giving a fuck about what people think of you. Good luck!
  3. Keep up the good work! @Frode I'm loving the vids. They're extremely helpful.
  4. @ModernArtist Build a meditation habit, as this psychologically affects the amount of stress you experience. And, overtime the amount of happiness you experience. However, if that area is immensely bad, then they could possibly consider relocation, if this is not possible right now tell them to take 100% responsibility and simply work hard to do what's necessary. Which will probably result in her fears and worries vanishing within the short term, whereas meditation will be a long term factor to alleviate fears and worries. Good luck!
  5. @BeginnerActualizer Karma Yoga, Bakta Yoga, Nyata Yoga/satsangs, raja yoga. Don't know if I spelt them correctly . But, that's besides the point. Good luck!
  6. @Frogfucius I believe this is something that I have also recently learnt. But, I wouldn't want to world to burn . I would simply want to detach myself from reality and not give a fuck about what reality is anymore, as the majority of it is utter crap, so I try to remind myself, that if I suffer and get angry at the world no good will come from it. So therefore, thoughts about what reality is vs what it should be stop, which results in my anger diminishing, overtime, as reality won't change even if you get angry or laugh at its establishments trying to get a sense of superiority. It's meaningless, just stop! Enjoy the beauty of the world and of nature and of this magical existence and not give a fuck about those who won't change, which will allow you to be detached from what you want reality to be. Which is what will allow you to become happy and content. If you think laughing at establishments will help continue doing it, but if i'm brutally honest I think that's just a false sense of superiority building up inside you from your ego, which may increase suffering for yourself and those around you. So just don't give and fuck and continue meditating... Good luck!
  7. @Callum Milner You could potentially take out a student loan if you are struggling financially, which requires you to make at least 25,000 before paying anything back. Which means, you won't necessarily have to pay anything back, unless you make the money. However, if you do make the money don't worry as it can easily be repaid monthly, and I'm sure the loans are very flexible, as well as it depends on your University degree and accommodation costs, if you wish to live there. But, I suppose it depends on which country you live in. In the UK this is what we have available to students with limited funding wishing to learn. Do some research and take a look around! Good luck!
  8. @Firebirdz You can try to contact him through this forum. There is a direct messaging function. As, for whether or not he will want to see you is a different story, but good luck.
  9. @Preango How do you deal with competition? I don't care about it. I used to be very competitive always asking and comparing grades with others in school, then I stopped. As, it's meaningless and it results in fear, as you are always fearful of losing if you are number 1, preventing you from enjoying life. So, I don't compete, but if someone has something useful I can add it to the list of things I want. And wish them the best, to prevent my ego growing. How can a person rise above competition? Raise his/her consciousness this can be done through meditation. Which may also allow you to transcend selfish motives e.g. money or sex. Pleasant or unpleasant? Competing, as I said can be unpleasant if you are number 1, as it will leave you in constant fear and stress that others are always trying to become better than you, which allows you no time to simply be happy and enjoy the beauty of life. But, if you are at the bottom of the competition ladder, then I suppose you could utilise it to motivate/inspire yourself, but it has a cost to it like I said. Personally, I have a life purpose, so I don't compete with others I compete with myself. parents forcing you to compete? Competition seems like a rat race to meet, just rats in cages jumping through hopes in order to get cheese. If you don't like it become the master observing the rat race, not one of the rats competing. But, if you do want to compete try compete with yourself! P.s I wanted to watch a movie today or go for a walk do you want to come?

  18. @alea I doubt you're stupid if you're making decisions to do something great. I would recommend trying to ask yourself "what can I find interesting about this subject that can fascinate me?" When that is found it won't be hard to do work, if you can't find a reason do a google search and find out why others love it so much. With the difficulty answering questions, just persist, as Thomas Edison said "I haven't failed I've just found 10,000 ways to do something wrong". And, like him you should be persistent and learn how to solve the problem, as it will allow you to grow mentally. So just persist and believe in yourself, as you ARE JUST AS GOOD AS ANYONE ELSE!
  19. @Pia You're doing what's right! Do visualisations and affirmations. Consistently just be patient and you will successfully change your self image. Personally, I do affirmations. I'm going to start also doing visualisations, but I don't want to burn out. So, try do one and try build that up into a solid habit by upping it everyday by 5 mins perhaps. Good luck!
  20. @DimmedBulb Then make a 100% commitment to start tomorrow! It's as simple as that. Your ego wants you to say that! Go against it, and fight for your higher self not your lower self aka what your ego wants, as it hates change. Which is what overtime will leave you fulfilled, happy and satisfied. But, right now it just seems painful, as it's likely that your procrastinating, if that's the issue watch Leo's video on how to stop procrastinating.
  21. @Lamp Meditation usually gives me the most emotional releases, as I am not worried about the future or the past, therefore making me content with the moment. However, for me personally my emotional releases come at random moments usually during meditation and sometimes after I have finished. But, I've also heard the yoga also definitely helps so give those are try. As, for the others I haven't tried them. Besides, cold showers, but all they seem to do is make me cold .
  22. @DimmedBulb Ask yourself this "will becoming sad help me to find my life purpose?". If the answer is no take 100% responsibility for YOUR LIFE, and do what's necessary to find that purpose or to buy that course. YOU have a limited amount of time on this earth, and are you going to sit there weeping? NO! GET up, get up and fight for your life. Fight for your purpose, and make your life purpose become true! Don't waste anymore time. GO AND DO IT!
  23. @Akeberg I've been using this technique for a while, and it is helpful. But, the thing is there are techniques that he suggests that are far more powerful. A while ago, I purchased Leo's book list which had 140 books(try and save up to get it). The books provided within his list have some amazing insights into how to avoid criticisms and to not give a shit about what anyone says. I'm a schoolboy (17 years of age) I'm a minority in my school as I seek to get Actualized. Everyday, I got criticisms I would take them to heart and become sad, and frustrated. But, then as I utilised this technique along with others, such as Leo's other video on how to deal with trolls the most powerful question that aided me to do this was 'are you going to allow a figment of someone's imagination control you?' which is what I ask myself whenever something gets to me through criticism, which I then answer no, resulting in my sadness or pain disappearing. And, over the years I've become so used to using it, I don't even have to say it. I remain unmoved by any form of criticism usually. Because, I no longer give a fuck.
