  1. Do you remember mentioning, "To me, John Flores is sucked in the evil twin of enlightenment."? Looks like you don't bode well with the truth. Did you recognize the answer had been in front of your face when you said, "I don't know what 'people make such out to be'... No, please if you'd like explain by yourself what you mean."?
  2. Contemplate: if you seek "enlightenment, that is an act of will which you hold. Therefore that is use of decision and proof of free will. Now, since you exist, obviously a self exists. However, if you classify self as other than you, you are merely treating yourself as a stranger which is contradictory because you are not other than you. The whole "self" thing is you. But I bet as you read that you still read "self" as though that were not you. But you're wrong. The truth about people is that they are a combination of elements which respond according to that which you are subject to. Even your will responds according to its composition. Nothing impossible has ever happened. Therefore existence cannot contradict logic. Even imaginations are existent. They are merely a rearrangement of the things of existence. A unicorn is a mix of a horn, a horse, and the colors of the rainbow. Even concepts do the same thing with words. However, though someone can form the "intention" to do the impossible, that does not mean that intention will work. However, if you treat yourself paradoxically (considering yourself a stranger to yourself) you obviously are struggling against nature which does not favor paradoxes. Naturally your experience becomes hellish because you are trying to build a foundation the wrong way and nature is tearing it down with the use of gravity, wind, and so forth. That is why Paul the Apostle suggested building with truth. consider this: if imaginations and concepts are real, how much more real is that which nature cannot contradict and runs on as a gear? Therefore truth is very real and by treating yourself with a lie you have not abided by that which will please you in the survival of the fittest.
  3. Perhaps you should ponder whether that which you do is as important as you consider such to be. A great advice is: "only commit the necessary and forsake the non-essentials." Of course you may understand just how futile your [ast actions are and boil your idea of that which is essential down to something of use like wisdom, efficiency, beneficiality, and effectiveness. ... I became aware of all of the aforementioned and more by applying the principles stated in the original translations of the Bible.
  4. That's preposterous. If you aren't prepared, how can you help someone else. The Bible obviously states that the "sick need a doctor", not another sick person. But you said, "Enlightened people who focus on self-work don't exist." Perhaps you're right and the only thing that makes you right is that enlightenment isn't the thing people make such out to be. I think you can refer to John Flores who commented before me to understand that which I mean.
  5. I sent a message regarding an option to delete one's account and/or personal posts.
  6. Anyways... let the man make decisions without you. What makes you think you're so wise and yet you don't ask for details before replying. A wise advice is, "Be quick to listen and slow to speak." The names of the books as well as the Author I mentioned likely met the awareness of something in your life and you, perhaps a slave to them, are attempting to make a horrible stand. One book gives advice on how to approach lifestyle and the other reveals an attribute of the things that go on in the realm of things invisible to mere man.
  7. I recommend reading C.S. Lewis's "The Screwtape Letters." and C.S. Lewis's "Letters to Malcolm: Chiefly on Prayer" Perhaps you should utilize the advice of not to ever make assumptions and to only affirm or deny if the situation is proper.
  8. Leo, I don't assume you would know the answer to this, but your feedback may interest me. I've been doing studies using myself as the labrat (and that wisely, with carefulness). These studies concern free will. I've boiled down a mass of information to something which may interest you. It reminds me of the "I think, therefore I am." principle. "To endeavor to place focus on controlling the self, even to involve physical action in that pursuit, is to direct the mind and body and thereby demonstrate free will. You yourself, when in pursuit (even of something like controlling yourself), must at some point decide to continue. Free will is not just obvious because of perseverance, but by adaptation to a situation if it doesn't meet the expectation. Therefore free will is obviously existent. -Gabriel David Gomez
  9. if the self were separated, it would be like a numb arm. The example of a numb arm is that the arm is actually separate from the strings pulled by the self. It is the movement you can enforce with the numb arm that is caused by you using the strings so that the arm becomes your tool. Similarly, to have another self you must be in unity with it, so that would be like two or so working non-contrarily to each other. What "seems" to be the object of this conversation may either be a question posed indirectly by forces you are familiar or unfamiliar with. Soul exists. Spirit exists. Yes.
  10. If you try to control what you cannot, that is the definition of insanity. You would be trying to move a numb arm expecting something, but that is the definition of insanity. Unless there is another force involved. Thomas Aquinas also explained this in the Summa Theologica when he spoke about how to make something levitate. He said that there must be an additive force. Therefore, miracles are only logical events in nature. To summon them in an attempt to boost your confidence or ego is not the additive force your require. In fact, perhaps some of the witches burned at the stake in england were not witches at all. Perhaps some had wisdom and love.
  11. So the self exists as a combinations of elements which react similarly to those of the universe. Therefore, because the universe is only a name for a body of elements which react in different ways, the universe is not in synchronicity; this explains why someone whose actions are determined by the the reactions of the elements they are moved by can be part of the universe. It also explains why the bible states that there is such a thing as predestination. Every reaction can be tracked to find what will later react to its stimulus to find what lies in the future. Time is a concept. Cause and effect are more complex. Time is simply a matter of identifying the periods during which a cause and effect happen. If you could reverse the cycle of cause and effect, that would be to "go back in time". The Bible explains that the universe operates within the boundaries of logic, "By wisdom the LORD laid the earth's foundations, by understanding he set the heavens in place." Therefore, the question, "Do we live in the best of all possible worlds," is answered by, "Yes." Because the wicked are perishing not by an unjust God, but because the laws of nature do not agree with them so that the elements they are composed of separate and they die. This is why the messiah said, "They will be chopped into pieces and thrown in the fire." Perhaps the fire is to represent an oven with which a new element is born and that is why another area says that the wicked will be ashes under the feet of the righteous. The righteous will prevail because they did not "Rebel against the laws of God." One theologian said, "Nature is grace." Therefore, the stories of the bible make sense. Even Thomas Aquinas mentioned that catholics are wrong to reject the proper explanations given by science. This is because the "fake church" lacks true faith. Now, there is much more proof. But on your question of the self, your notion that you do not choose to react or respond or act is wrong. You are compelled to act due to what you are composed of, and since it is in fact you which is composed of it, you do not disagree. In some aspects, things like the body may act apart from yourself. This is because it is not in fact controlled by yourself. Just like a numb arm that you can barely move, the self only carries out the actions it can do with it. But there are other forces which are at play.
  12. What are you talking about? Of course there is a self. Basically, your choices are as explainable as the manner chemical reactions take place. You are part of the universe. Not that you are one with the universe, but that the elements and existence which compose you serve a purpose and react with other things just like the universe reacts with itself. Just as the universe, what you combine and react will affect your condition. The point is that the elements you are composed of are so complexly combined that your choices seem to be free of the laws of nature (which operate within the boundaries of logic). The fact is that your will is carried out by yourself, and since it is based on chemical reactions, your will blends in with the nature of your elements. This means that your will is in fact in agreeance with the qualities of the elements you are composed of. An "unconscious movement" is when one of your tools (like the body) become detached from the grasp of the self (such as by blood flow or other factors which deem an instrument unusable). The body is only a tool and therefore the detachment of it does not destroy the self. This is why amputation does not kill you if you can preserve the vital members. Knowledge and mind is also a tool, because it can be forgotten (which is like psychological amputation by lack of use and deterioration, this can happen with the body as well considering The superman actor died from sleeping in the same position too long without movement). So, basically, the common idea of free will is that our will can extend beyond the boundaries of nature and logic, but not that we can carry it out if it is impossible to achieve. But the correct information is that our free will can only be exercised within the boundaries of nature. Imaginations and concepts like unicorns are constructed by taking tiny bits of the universe and combining them to form a very existent image. Even the idea of something's reality is copied and pasted and fit to the unicorn's image. But free will is in agreeance and alliance with the elements you are composed of so that your will is like unto as if two chemicals had a consciousness and their only free will was to carry out the logical action. At least, that is the smart manner of going about it. The truth about a lot is that, as infants even, people become familiar with the option of rebellion. They tend to classify the rush they get from it as profitable and safe. It is by copying and pasting the option of rebellion to a natural process that a person can expect a different result than the natural. That is why the definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over, expecting a different result. So basically, its like two chemicals with consciouses who mix with the intention of making what obviously (by logical terms) will not be the result, this being possible by engraining a mindset of rebellion, the attribute learned from parents etc. So the fact is that the things you experience and partake in affect your choices because your character is formed much like how elements mix. If you mix something just right, the idea to commit a specific action may never cross your mind. This is why people search for a sort of "formula" to fix the mind, because it is common sense that they must have a reaction to something in order to be fixed. I know more about the universe than plenty of people. I learned it all based on my method of observing the bible and applying it to other things.
  13. ...Construction cannot exist without deconstruction and deconstruction cannot exist without construction. Consider both before either and for the benefit of all... I believe that this method of mine is useful to learn both offense and defense as well as to increase in strategical skills and tactic. During the course of writing my book, this advice came to mind and I have only recently thought to apply this advice in my search for experience to flavor the remainder of it. If someone has feedback, that would be appreciated Experiment with a mindset to deconstruct when you construct (the splitting of wood by nail and hammer) and with a mindset to construct when you deconstruct (aim for the the shape which remains after deconstruction) In regards to life, martial artists discipline the enemy. This is different than simple violence. The act is meant to shape something by deconstruction of only that which isn't beneficial to all. Also, a person can increase in wisdom, strategy, and develop tactic if they focus on building something by deconstructing something else, they can learn the very many things involved in their construction. To strike a nail is to take from mass and to deconstruct the surface of the wood. I'm sure this can be compared to a much bigger example of which the variables often not considered are helpful in the many searches of science. The ky is to balance your focus on deconstruction and construction so that you yourself do not become unbalanced.
  14. No need for representation, mere fashionable things, and non essential extras. Follow bruce lee's advice and hack away at the non-essentials. Also, do nothing that is useless. If you presented that to someone who desperately need that information, they may turn you away because they don't like "Kali", but if you present the useful information, what can they have bias against?
  15. Keyword, Kali "represents". But a representation isn't what it represents. Forget the mythology and stupid non-essentials and focus on the point. Strong emotion and wonder doesn't equate with convincing truth. There are enough futile traditions in the world and the guidelines for this website is against that afore revealed thing,
  16. It is the explanation before the last which details why Rene Descartes could say, "Each problem that I solved became a rule, which served afterwards to solve other problems." Because everything in existence abides by logic. In fact, you could say that logic is a sort of string which you can find by comparisons between the things of existence to find facts about one portion of it with another. For instance, reproduction can be used to summarize reproduction and find details of etymology. By combining the likenesses between the two, it is made obvious. A man plants his seed into the womb which is the earth (mother earth) and after laboring hard, the result is the fruit of the womb. Perhaps this is why Miyamoto musashi said, "From one thing, know ten thousand things.", because other riches can be found. In fact, Thomas Aquinas once said, ""All the efforts of the human mind cannot exhaust the essence of a single fly." and this reveals the wealth of existence which is available to find the rest.
  17. The idea is to lower the amount of unnecessary actions yet act only as necessary. The problem with the first one I assembled is that I did not perform necessary tasks simply by not performing the unnecessary ones. However i did identify the unnecessary one's, and by having knowledge of the basics tasks which were necessary I could identify the nature of them to organize a technique which is a map for all useful actions. It boiled down to abiding by logic and not expecting an illogical result, though an illogical result be the aim. It is the illogical result which does not happen during a logical action which is desired, but because the illogical result does not become a reality (nature favoring logic since nothing impossible has ever happened) suffering occurs. Thus it is desire which is the cause of most suffering, and not pain. This is why I found that my senses should be managed more efficiently. So I found that it is logical and beneficial to allow pain (a danger indicator) and resist what causes it. After all, to resist the senses is to be unaware of danger. The same goes with stress, which should not be resisted. Now, the reason why the following method is useful is because it shows people how to manage their body and mind, which they often try to influence in ways which only cause suffering due to their technique. This is why the technique is as follows. Do not seek to better control the mind by relaxing the body. Do not seek to better control the body by relaxing the mind. Do not seek to better control the body by exerting the mind. Do not seek to better control the mind by exerting the body. Do not attempt to influence the mind using the body. Use the mind to influence the mind. Do not attempt to influence the body using the mind. Use the body to influence the body.
  18. That question is rhetorical. I don't need your answer. It is not that I fully say it is me but that the mind is not the actual self. That is the basis of the realization. The mind is only a tool of the self, and not one that the self is obligated to use (just like the body). If I didn't say it earlier or explain it enough, I haven't directly discovered myself... I have rathered indirectly discovered it because I have found free will. By the awareness of the ability to control, I can infer that something must operate it. But then I myself, being able to control, must have something controlling me. The conclusion is that my actual will blends in so neatly with nature that my responses and actions I general work much the same as and are like a chemical reaction. I am like many elements combined which, under certain circumstances, react in certain ways. Now, nature operates according to a specific guideline called logic. This is why nothing impossible has ever happened. But because only the logical can happen, what exactly do all reactions boil down to? It is the fact that every human is not composed of the same amount of or types of elements. Thus we literally act as we naturally should according to natural reactions. The reason why the definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over, expecting a different result is because its like mixing water and fire together to make metal. It is not the goal that is wrong, it is the process and the reactions which are not logical. Thus, every person must abide by what everything in the universe operates along the guidelines of: logic. This is why Thomas Aquinas said, "A man has free will just as long as he is logical." and also why the Bible says, "By wisdom the LORD laid the earth's foundations, by understanding he set the heavens in place" (because wisdom is logic and a thing must abide by its foundation: wisdom/logic/truth)... and also why predestination is possible (because, if you could track all of the reactions in the universe, you would find every reaction which will ever take place within creation). Now, I'm sure you're wondering how I came up with this information, but if you were to dare ask and become subject to knowing the truth about creation... you would be astonished. Maybe you would copy and paste it into a book to get it published and receive an award, going down in history for something I found. But this is why I am a newly published author expecting major results in the world of philosophy, sociology, agriculture, psychology, elite warfare, body-language, metaphysics, and others just to prove that a 21 year old without fancy equipment is relevant enough to solve age old questions such as "Do we live in the best of all possible worlds?" (to which the answer is yes, because nothing impossible has ever happened and this platform has never failed) and others. Now, the self is deeper than the mind because it can conjure memory, this is common sense. But a deeper awareness is found using an exercise I will reveal that has potential to (if used correctly) show you a more detailed awareness that you are actually doing. A leg can be amputated, but the self remains. Knowledge can be forgotten (severed/thus amputated) but the self remains. The self is the mover which succeeds all tools of itself and is only moved by things conceptually considered external outside of it. Everyone operates with the universe as the universe. Therefore, individuality is to say that a specific group of chemicals represents the self. But, know this, that that specified group of chemicals can be expanded upon (if you track every reaction and stimulus, or to be more simple... every action) until you have identified the smallest and biggest but pretty much all of the matter in the universe. Therefore to do things according to wisdom is the way of peace and to resist nature expecting an illogical result is the definition of insanity. Free will exists within and not outside of logic. The following exercise is for people who want to discontinue "subconscious movement", make less unnecessary actions of the mind and body, and reduce stress massively: Do not seek to better control the mind by relaxing the body. Do not seek to better control the body by relaxing the mind. Do not seek to better control the body by exerting the mind. Do not seek to better control the mind by exerting the body. This will show you reveal which actions are among those that are useful and which are among those that are unnecessary. This can be used in meditation and it is meant to be practiced while deeply observing your mind and body and how you go about adjusting them.
  19. as you focus on the word "thought" watch you can stifle and quench any evolution it may take. Also, note that it is very fast conscious movements and not a single subconscious movement that forms your thoughts. It is necessary to maintain that thought of the word thought as it is and allow no less and no more than it. This also helps relieve stress. In doing this exercise you will have regulated thought. Also, though you may not remember having conjured it, you will have conjured it. Oftentimes, people begin something consciously and they forget. People then become protective and say that it was subconscious. It is their way of regulating fear because animal instinct says that it is only wise to keep track of the not so far ago past so as to know what may come. Sometimes it is just plain futile.
  20. Want to find out how to be a thinker? First ignore everything you are currently thinking about though it looms it the back of your mind almost succeeding in flooding to the front and do not personally engage in any particular and detailed thought. Next simply attempt to conjure, not any specific brand of thought, but the very thing which is thought itself. Focus and meditate on that which thought is, even the word thought. Also, even attempt to conjure a memory, any memory. The value of your attempt combined with actual results regardless of the targeted memory proves that I am a thinker because I succeeded both in the attempt, willing continuance and perseverance having applied the act to continue, and in actually conjuring a memory. Another exercise is quite simple. I obtained this from Miyamoto Musashi after translating it further. The idea is to engage only in low physical action during high psychological activity and to engage in fairly high physical activity during low psychological activity. You must first attempt to discontinue any unnecessary actions and, for every task you assess, assess it in the fewest yet most useful and effective number of movements. This entire exercise is best done while first being still and slowly graduating to higher levels of movement. Also, the secret to quitting a habit (this said because unnecessary actions are the habit of many) is not action. It is non-action and replacement of unnecessary action with useful actions or no action at all. Byt practicing this in completion you will have utilized both awareness of your mind, your body, as well as regulation of the body, intentional discontinuance of habitual behavior, and other things which you must press past suffering using free will so as to accomplish. Suffering is only necessary until you realize it's not.
  21. Olden Martial Artists recognized the Martial Arts to be something not only applicable within the boundaries of warfare, but in everyday tasks. In fact, anybody can begin washing the dishes using the Martial Arts. The philosophy of Martial Arts is meant to extend to areas of human habit so as to sharpen performance and enhance life and peace. I studies Martial Arts and, when I was a child, always wondered how they always moved so quick. The answer is what makes Martial Arts blend in with the natural laws of the universe. Listen closely, because the exercise I'm about to reveal you can also help you stop an unwanted yet useless habit. This information is what I gathered after studying the philosophy of Jeet Kune Do (formulated by Bruce Lee) and Krav Maga. The actual practice of these resides within a main point: beneficial purpose. How to succeed. Bruce Lee stressed that simplification is the way to go. This is one of the things which make the Martial Arts possible. The easiest and most efficient route is near at hand (meaning close); and 'if' it is even slightly farther than the nearest option, it is still most efficient and useful. It is often harder for some to take the easy route because they are so accustomed to taking the hard route that the hard route has become easier to recognize than the easy route which is more efficient. So the technique is now only partially revealed. Here is the basic yet essential advice which I (even as of this moment) try to incorporate in my everyday life. "Forsake unnecessary action, and that not by action but by non-action. Accomplish each task in the fewest, most efficient, most beneficial amount of movement possible." I actually put this advice together myself after much study and physical labor. The result of much writing and labor led to this main technique. It can be used both my the mind and the body. So, if you wish, gimme some feedback about your use of this advice or give me some advice myself.
  22. You can cover your ears and act like it's bad because you don't understand it and you can act like its bad just because you don't like it. But just because you like something doesn't make it right. Strong emotion doesn't equate to convincing truth. I hardly understood a word you wrote until I considered what it meant based off of what i know. You don't need to communicate more directly but you maybe could.
  23. Should you insist on stating that Leo already made videos about the topic and yet not quote me and why i'm wrong? Of course you can. Of your own free will. But my statement stands by common sense and logic. Not by the laws of Leo and an unproven powerful accuracy, but by the laws of existence.
  24. Experiences build an understanding of how things truly are. Have you ever had that moment when someone smiles and you can't help but notice you can almost literally see the happiness in the smile as though it were there? That is a hallucination which is meant to explain what the situation may involve. It is not something to be immediately trusted. The same thing happens when you hear music and you associate an emotion with it. The fact is, emotions aren't always proportionate descriptors. Strong emotion doesn't equate with convincing truth. That is the reason people still practice futile traditions and hold opinions (lies people choose to be comfortable calling the truth and are only almost convinced of). With every emotion or experience of that sadness or happiness you can almost see combined with a frown or smile and for every song you hear that you associate an emotion with... consider this: ... animal instinct is formed rather rapidly because pain or pleasure is of the first things a newborn develops an opinion of. I had to learn as a baby almost immediately that no one would ease the pain of not breathing when I came out of the womb, and I learned that pain was not profitable because of agony which was also not profitable. Thus I learned about profit and non-profit and loss almost as soon as I came out of the womb. By exercising and writhing about squirming and exercising my muscles, I learned to breathe which felt profitable. Thus I practiced this method of breathing. However, a person can please a crowd and make allies by going against that instinct and holding their breathe (which is pleasing if you can sit through a chokehold from the "dominant dog"). So, experience builds understanding of things. You (of your own doing) use your mind to find things which correlate to it so that you can build an understanding of new experiences. This is what flavors your reactions and responses. Because you experienced the act of rebellion and felt a rush you compared to something profitable, you can learn to rebel. You can even rebel against sense and simply no require an explanation for your opinions and thoughts. You can rebel against everything you ever thought proper and not require any reason. You can actually reshape your will by going against it (which turns into a new will). The fact is that experience builds understanding, the mind uses the understanding like a map to understand new situations and old situations, and those things you see and hear are always only likely and most probable explanations of everything. I believe empathy is impossible. But nearly accurately empathizing is possible. Now, the most deceptive concept I have ever heard is that someone can get to know someone's personality. People are always changing. The explanation of the baby is an example of that. This is why Bruce Lee said something along the lines of learning being a continuous process in his book "The Tao of Jeet Kune Do". My experiences taught me options which gave me an array of choices out of which I chose or did not choose. I learned new options by both not choosing the latter options or choosing the latter options; yet each experience caused me to change. I recommend investigating many things (kind of like batman did if you know that he willingly became subject to horrid conditions during his personal studies so as to build experience and become a more fit individual); gaining new experiences which will build your character and help you sharpen the accuracy of those hallucinations which detail probable explanations and details about that which you see, hear, feel, taste, and smell. I recommend not taking for granted the moment in between stimulus and response (free will) by immediately trusting those offered probabilities and instead further investigating, which will flavor you with experiences and help you more accurately perceive and make decisions; placing you near the top of the food chain among the society of existence in general during the survival of the fittest.
  25. First of all this is basically to do with your emotions. Let me show you a technique because you likely have no clue how many unnecessary actions you perform. Like a blind man in the dark. If done properly, this exercise can increase your caliber of focus and help you to avoid exaggerating about everything. Often times the mind becomes wrapped up in its emotions and views of things, so what tends to happen is an exaggeration based on strong emotion which leads to responses to each of those emotions further resulting in chaos in the everyday life. So the exercise is to engage in physical movement during calmness, and to disengage physical movement during a more than fairly active mind. If you do not pay attention completely, you may find yourself confused. This is to demonstrate just how much work it takes to have a complete balance. Upon calmness, you must engage in physical movement. If, during your attempt to physically move during calmness, you respond almost immediately with much psychological activity... respond with physical rest. Also, if, during your attempt to become rest during much psychological activity, you respond with calmness (which is psychological) engage in physical movement. You will find how quickly this process works, so the best way to begin is to lay down or sit comfortably. Start with this as an exercise until you get the groove and then begin at more intense levels of activity. This is based on Miyamoto Musashi's advice, “Both in fighting and in everyday life you should be determined though calm. Meet the situation without tenseness yet not recklessly, your spirit settled yet unbiased. Even when your spirit is calm do not let your body relax, and when your body is relaxed do not let your spirit slacken. Do not let your spirit be influenced by your body, or your body be influenced by your spirit.”
