  1. For the past two years, I’ve been teaching at schools, and one thing I know for sure is that the more conscious of a teacher you become, the more likely you are to get fired. Why? Simply put, most children don’t want to learn. They want to play. A conscious teacher will acknowledge that and allow them to play, whilst the usual teacher has to put a lot of effort into manipulating the children to do the work. The biggest hint that this is unconscious, is that it is always stressful. It’s never easy to try to make a kid ‘be good’, because deep down it’s fear based. Without fear, you would want for the children what they want for themselves which is to have fun. As a result, very little learning will occur, and all ‘productivity’ will drop. This is what I am experiencing. Says a lot about what will happen to the entire ‘education’ system in the future. This will be fun to watch.
  2. After I took the Life Purpose course, it became conclusive to me that Life Purpose and Enlightenment will not go together. Here’s why: Life Purpose is about driving yourself to make an impact in the world. But this can only work if you are stuck in the illusion of control. In reality, you have no control whatsoever. As soon as you realise this (Enlightenment), driving yourself is no longer a possibility. As soon as you become aware of non-doership, you can no longer drive yourself to do anything, because you have no control over anything at all. So, how does the enlightened person live then? They follow their integrity/heart. Spontaneous movement happens based on what the heart desires. For most people, it is impossible, because it is blocked by all of your fears. As soon as you clear your fears, you can just spontaneously follow your integrity. You become a slave of your integrity. Wherever your integrity tells you to go, you go. So this brings us to why Life Purpose and Enlightenment really do not go together: The notion that other people need your help is a false belief. When you set off for your Life Purpose, you do things based on the belief that you are doing good in the world, you are helping others. But notice that this is a belief with no evidence at all. Reality is already perfect. Your heart will not tell you to do anything so baseless. You will just live your life moment to moment. So now you ask: Enlightened teachers are out there changing the world. I can see them. Yes, you are right. Many enlightened teachers have written books and do workshops. But how they arrived there is very different to what you imagine. One basic principle of how your heart works is out of love. It follows love. What does that mean? If somebody asks you for help, you operate on the principle ‘why not?’. If there is no legitimate reason against it, you say ‘yes.’ Whatever people ask, your heart says ‘yes’ if you can do it. If people ask for a workshop, you do it. If people ask you to write a book, you write it. And that is how your integrity operates. You help people only when they ask for help. That’s it. If somebody did not ask for your help, then the only thing that would drive you to help such a person is a baseless belief that they need your help, which your integrity will never buy. Even if the person seems to need your help, the most that your integrity would tell you to do is ask that person if you can help them. If they say no, that’s the end of it. Even if they are starving in the streets, once they say no you leave. They are doing fine. Your heart will say ‘no’ if there is a legitimate reason why not. And that’s when you say no. You live your life as a flow, not decideding and controlling anything, but being a servant to your heart and giving when people ask. Driving yourself to do something and ‘making an impact’ is not possible. Because you can clearly see that everything is perfect other than your beliefs.
  3. J@Ampresus It’s good to start with 10 mins. In the end what will work is two things: consistency (doing it daily) and sustainability (keeping the practice for at least one year without seeing results). If you take care of those two, chances are you will find your way to extraordinary meditation sessions and huge progress.
  4. @Dodo Idealism is correct, but incomplete. Solipsism must be added.
  5. @LoveandPurpose Doing dry ‘consciousness work’ won’t work (most likely) because your depression will hit you in huge waves, and you must deal with them quickly. They will not wait for you to become enlightened! But you can do both at the same time with The Work of Byron Katie. I became enlightened only with this technique. Perfect if you suffered a lot like me.
  6. @Cody_Atzori There are no people, no world. There’s no such thing as ‘absolute’ either. Even ‘God’ is just another concept. You seem to be questioning beliefs that bring you happiness. Why? If a belief is making you feel good, just keep it.
  7. @Justincredible76 The Work of Byron Katie.
  8. @Peo I used to have that a lot when I started self inquiry two years ago. It’s only the beginning, but enjoy it.
  9. @Onecirrus It was deleted by youtube. The audio is still available on iTunes though.
  10. @Aakash Something similar happened to me six months ago. Just remember it’s a state, not a stage. Expect it to pass.
  11. @Aakash No one can know what’s happening inside you. Trust what your intuition is telling you.
  12. @Bryanbrax No. That’s Byron Katie.
  13. @Serotoninluv In the U.S. not in England. It was on video. I wasn’t present.
  14. @Serotoninluv I’ve seen people in meditation and enlightenment retreats saying that they voted for trump because “they were scared.” What else could it be? Of course those people were never racist, and they didn’t vote for trump because of his racism, but despite it. And they apologised later as well.
  15. @Leo Gura Even stage Orange/Green people can vote for trump if they have stage blue shadow issues.
  16. @Nahm My friend, deconstructing my beliefs is not just something I want, it’s the only thing I want. I’ve been doing this for two years, two hours daily. My growth is the only thing I care about. I give close to no thoughts about the kids outside the school. This topic was to simply state my observations. I wasn’t wining about anything. As long as I’m following my integrity, I’m happy, no matter what happens in the external world. @Emerald Youre right when you say that I’m not cut for the job of controlling the class. But that’s me. Maybe other people are. I don’t know. I just prefer not to live a stressful life.
  17. @Bryanbrax But what will those powers do for you? For your happiness.
  18. @Nahm I didn’t understand your question. Can you ask it again.
  19. This is all unconsciousness. How do I know? It’s fear based. It’s not easy to be a conscious teacher. All the things you mentioned will be the obstacles against it. I’ve struggled through all this for one year before I figured it out. And yes, you will probably be fired very soon! Again, conscious teaching is very difficult. It’s not for everybody. But what I can tell you is that, making this transition has made my job extremely enjoyable. I was lowered from a teacher to an assistant teacher. But know I basically get to have fun with the children, whilst I let the teacher take all the burden of ‘controlling’ the class.
  20. @bejapuskas I’m waiting for them to pick it up. And so far, nobody came. That’s how I know they don’t need it.
