  1. But to ask ‘why’ is assuming that reality could’ve been some other way, which is just a fantasy. For me, the reason ‘why reality is precisely the way it is,’ is because any alternatives to this reality is just your fantasy.
  2. The problem with asking ‘why is reality precisely the way it is’ is that this question is coming from the mind. There’s nothing wrong with the mind, but the mind is less than reality. More precisely, the mind is a subset of reality. Because you can be in a no-mind state where the mind disappears and reality remains. And pure reality (without the mind) cannot ask ‘why’. It just is. There are no questions. And this is the ultimate truth.
  3. It’s interesting that the brain actually affects the body quite radically. Byron Katie said that shortly after her experience, there was a period of 27 days where she never ate or drank anything. She said it was because of her ‘radical state of mind.’
  4. No, Leo’s parents were also atheist. He’s never been religious.
  5. They can be reached. It’s just quite rare. Most people will need psychedelics, but a few can do it naturally.
  6. @Matt23 I’ve heard western teachers with no religious background whatsoever saying that they experienced teleportation.
  7. Where did the ‘J’ come from?
  8. God also told me to stop that. But I had an interesting experience a few days ago. I decided to do a serious meditation routine. I meditated for 5 hours each day for two days. On the second day, whilst I was at 5 and a half hours, I was contacted by God and was told to stop this nonesense. I won’t get into the details because it’s hard to talk about, but in a nutshell, the meditation sessions killed itself. I stopped after that experience.
  9. @Conrad Intetesting book: https://ia601205.us.archive.org/11/items/StrivingForDivineUnionByHuda/Striving for Divine Union by Huda.pdf I specifically like the examples of people who spoke out about ‘Fana’ (annihilation) and then were shortly executed afterwards. Their names are many.
  10. I haven’t looked into it that much. I know that it is a Hadith qudsi. Perhaps you can do a bit of research on it.
  11. @Conrad Also another Hadith: “I am Ahmad without the meem.” Of course if you remove the meem you will get Ahad or ‘The One.’ He was probably dropping hints here and there.
  12. @Conrad It’s pretty interesting that there is a Hadith from Abu huraira which says, “I have memorized two kinds of knowledge from Allah's Apostle . I have propagated one of them to you and if I propagated the second, then my pharynx (throat) would be cut (i.e. killed).” Bukhari. This could imply that Abu huraira was receiving mystical teachings from Muhammad, but because the ideas was so radical, the companions wouldn’t tolerate it, and they would kill Muhammad for it, so Muhammad secretly teached a few people about it.
  13. When Peter Ralston talks about the distinction between relative and absolute, he’s not really talking about it for himself. He’s making the distinction so that communication to unenlightened people can be easier. It’s unenlightened people who need that distinction. For enlightened people, Absolute is all that exists.
  14. Of course, the bible isn’t to be taken literally. For Turquoise, we are the Christ. We incarnated into a human body (Christ) from the formless substance (Father). Try to play around with this. If you think about any statement long enough, you can find a relevant meaning to it.
  15. Was MLK really enlightened? I’m not questioning his good leadership, but the book Spiral dynamics says that he was BLUE/orange, the existing phase of BLUE.
  16. Trump is more evolved than Hitler. Hitler was very unhealthy BLUE, whilst Trump is very unhealthy ORANGE.
  17. @Leo Gura Just curious, how is your embodiment work going? Are you less focused on it now?
  18. @Cody_Atzori I stopped meditating a few months ago. It simply came to an end. God told me to stop meditating.
  19. @Nahm Well, why would you think that reality ‘goes on forever.’ That’s just pure fantasy. Consciousness is the only thing that exists. Nothing is hidden from you. To say that something goes on forever implies that reality is going on behind your back so to speak, and we all know that this is delusion.
  20. @Nahm Well, I first heard Byron Katie say it. Then I thought about it, then I experienced it myself.
  21. In the absolute sense, he’s right. One’s current experience is the highest, because everything else is just imagination (to him).
  22. @SoonHei If you’re trying to ‘get rid’ of those negative thoughts, let me save you all the trouble by telling you that you can’t. It’s impossible. You might be able to suspend them for a short while, but they will always come back. If you’re suffering from negative thoughts, you have to meet the thought with understanding, and embrace it. If you do it well enough, then it will let go of you, not the other way round.
  23. I’m afraid that, the War with What Is cannot be won. You’ve already doomed yourself if you think you can.
