  1. Of course 1 session won’t do anything. But if you can sustain it for 2-3 years, you will get some amazing breakthroughs. “Good things come to those who wait.”
  2. I spent two years meditating everyday for 1-2 hrs. You can certainly do it in the city. Just meditate 30 mins in the morning before work, and 30 mins at night after work.
  3. @Consilience What you know about the object is the object. There’s nothing more to it. If you’re walking on the desert and see a snake, the snake is real. Until, on closer inspection, you realise that the snake was in fact a rope, in that moment, the snake becomes a rope. The rope only came into existence when you thought of it.
  4. @karkaore it’s true that every path is equal, but that doesn’t mean you should choose any. Choose the best path for you. The path that will make you the happiest. What else is there to do in life?
  5. @VeganAwake what I found is that the spiritual ego is a phase on your journey to melting the ego. You can’t skip that stage. The mistake would be to stop there. And anyway, I think that the spiritual ego is superior to a normal ego. A spiritual ego is just a half-melted ego.
  6. How will knowing the critiques of Zen Buddhism help you?
  7. @Leo Gura How does fear relate to other emotions. Byron Katie said that all negative emotions stem from fear. Is this true?
  8. Let the sadhguru of the next generation deal with those problems.
  9. I also reached that point a while back. I can barely get myself to read any of the books in the booklist (or any books for that matter) because I have no interest in “manipulating” reality that much.
  10. It seems that Eckhart Tolle is aware of the collective human consciousness that Leo has talked about in his blog. He believes that a conscious human being is raising the collective human consciousness just by being present. It’s an interesting idea. Can an enlightened person really help another just by being in front of them?
  11. What do you mean?
  12. That won’t get you to enlightenment.
  13. He's claiming that a powerful yogi lived in the spot he was standing just by swinging some clock or something. Then he goes on talking about the eighth dimension. I guess he went too far down the yogi road and became a new ager.
  14. I guess we will never know.
  15. @Leo Gura Well, it would certainly convince many people here if you could get the infinite intelligence to submit a proof of p vs np. I know that infinite intelligence is real, but many materialists in this forum will need more convincing.
  16. Interesting how Sadhguru and TYT have opposed each other on the issue of the revocation of article 370 in India. Who do you think is in the right? Sadhguru supports the decision made by Modi to revoke article 370, whilst TYT is against it.
  17. @Leo Gura David Koch is gone. There’s no need to continue attacking him.
  18. I found this shocking article about Leo, and was wondering if anyone else saw this as well. How do people find the time to write this crap. https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Leo_Gura_(Actualized.org)
  19. No, I fill the worksheets beforehand. The 30 minutes are just for the inquiry. For me, it’s not hard to fill in the worksheets because you can always find something that you don’t like about your life. If there was nothing that you didn’t like about reality, your life would be perfect and you would be living in heaven. A good way to find a worksheet is to think why your life isn’t heaven. Every reason will be a worksheet of its own. Until when you finish, you should be able to say that your life is literally heaven! The perfect life!
