  1. I found that you need to have some excitement in your life, otherwise you’ll be too bored. But, you need to keep reminding yourself that there is zero importance in Life purpose. It is only for entertainment and passing the time. All importance lies in your own enlightenment, not other’s.
  2. I’ve lost faith in Philosopher AI. It thinks Byron Katie is just a fraud. https://philosopherai.com/philosopher/byron-katie-462234
  3. @TheSomeBody If you just want sex, why not hire prostitutes. There’s no shame in it.
  4. @Leo Gura Perhaps you could somehow speak with ‘extra-terrestrial doctors’, if you know what I mean. On DMT, if you can speak with aliens and other beings, maybe some of them might have information on how to heal you. Maybe you could channel them?
  5. Have you tried searching for batgap or rick archer in your mailbox.
  6. @Angelo D If you mean imaginary, then yes. All of reality is just imagination.
  7. A year ago I thought I reached final enlightenment. Soon afterwards though, I realised I was no where near the end. This path is endless my friend. Always more. Most of the enlightened people you know are famous teachers. Clearly at some point they ceased meditation and focused on teaching. Had they carried on, they would’ve been more conscious.
  8. @EmptyVase The ultimate solution to the ego will come from your meditation practice, but that will only be after a year at least. We are thinking long term. As far as what happens now, it doesn’t matter. As long as you know that in the future your ego will die, what happens in the coming weeks or months is rather inconsequential. Two years from now, you will just smile at it. Think about the future, when those problems will be permanently gone, and less on all the suffering happening now. A classic Buddhist advice: The road to Hell looks like heaven, and the road to heaven looks like hell. You are on the road to heaven. But the road is hell-like. Just endure it and think about the final destination. The only necessary thing for that is your daily practice. Good luck!
  9. @EmptyVase Ignore the ego backlash. The only thing you should be thinking about is keeping your meditation practice. As long as that continues, let your ego backlash do as it pleases.
  10. Sell it to one person. If they like it, they will tell someone else. And so on until you have a sizeable audience.
  11. But isn’t there a link between less ego and being more peaceful? Seems like a direct relationship.
  12. @danton And what if humanity isn’t real?
  13. My ideal lifestyle would be to lock myself in my apartment and live alone, pursuing enlightenment and enjoying isolation. But of course, I wouldn’t be able to pay the rent and survive. Does anyone have any ideas about how to earn a living whilst living in isolation?
  14. I’m in the middle of the shadow work, which is why I require the isolation. The boredom is a sign that you need some enlightenment. Also, getting kicked out of the house and dying in the streets is also a dream. I would rather wake up from the dream before that happened...
  15. It’s not fear. It’s just that when I am communicating with other people, I am less meditative and more distracted from my internal world, therefore it slows down my pursuing of enlightenment. My greatest progress happens when I’m most isolated.
  16. There’s always a more deeper enlightenment. The road of awakening never ends.
  17. @Leo Gura You talked about a new psychedelic in this video. Could you tell us what it is? https://www.actualized.org/insights/ego-collapse-awakening
  18. @Leo Gura Can you fully dissolve the ego through meditation? Or will there always be some ego left?
  19. Go to Google, and write down ‘how to improve concentration book’. You’ll find several books specifically solving your problem.
  20. One approach is to just leave it and let it develop on its own. If they ask for help, we’ll help them, otherwise leave them be.
  21. Self reflection is not only meditation. I’m talking about just being alone with your thoughts. That way, there will always be some percentage of your attention directed inwards. This is self reflection. The time spent alone in your inner world is far, far more valuable than time spent outwards, with no attention to your mind. There should always be some attention to your mind, even if you’re not meditating. That can only happen if you’re alone. To dissolve the ego, you need to direct attention inwards. You can’t do that if you’re conversing with someone. You need to be alone, preferably for as long as possible, even if you’re not meditating.
  22. @jimwell Check Leo’s book list. There are some great books there about emotional mastery.
  23. The desire for women is caused by the ego. Do NOT follow it. All the time wasted with girls is better spent in self reflection.
  24. I was speaking to someone the other day, and they told me how some spiritual teacher was sexually abusing his students during a retreat. I asked him how, and he said simply that the teacher was having sex with some of his students. Further research showed me that all of this teacher’s sexual activity was consensual. The accusers were not the students who he had sex with, simply people who discovered that it happened. Of course no legal action was taken against him, because it wasn’t rape. But that got me thinking, is it really bad if some teacher agrees to have sex with a student. In this teachers case, the students wanted the sex, not him. He simply did not reject them. If neither party is in another relationship, then surely a sexual experience isn’t the end of the world? (Note all the students are adults!) What do you guys think?
