Many people have told me that I need to put a lid on something I’m microwaving, otherwise the radiation will somehow affect your food in a bad way. Is that true?

I don’t agree with many things Ben Shapiro says, but it’s hard to disagree with him about this. He is attacking the barbaric and medieval aspects of Islam, which is definitely quite welcome. Ayaan Hirsi Ali is also doing a good job in attacking and exposing orthodox Islam. For once Ben is up to something useful.

@Petals Imagine falling asleep whilst working. Notice that you will only realise that you fell asleep after you wake up! Before you wake up, you don’t know that you fell asleep. Similarly, the person who kills himself won’t really know that their suffering ended, because to realise that, you need to wake up first, which can’t happen anymore.

People who commit suicide to attain enlightenment or escape suffering will never realise that it doesn’t work, because there is no experience after death, so you can’t experience the goal that you wanted. The person who kills himself to escape suffering will not experience peace after he dies, because there is no ‘him’ anymore. He doesn’t experience ‘the end of suffering’, so his suffering doesn’t really end.

@Leo Gura My experience is that now is all there is. Therefore those statements were false. But I didn’t fully reject that video, because I believed (still do) that you have a higher state of consciousness than me, and that when I reach that state, I will see that what you said was true. I assume that there’s much I’m not conscious of, so I keep an open mind.

@Leo Gura You stated in this video that God lives out each human life individually, one after another, saying that after you die, you will live out the next life. Are you taking back those statements?
