  1. Yeah It's kinda part of my personality and I'm working on that. I have a very judgemental vibe sometimes like all things imperfect/unefficient must die Also I'm very good at noticing what is "wrong" ("bad" or not efficient/good/perfect enough) to amazing length in situations which makes me a very effective douche That's why I very rarely critique or underline anything in people unless I believe it could be helpful in some way. I would not mix practices but that's up to you. Psychedelic are amazing by themselves. But again however you feel !
  2. @Charlotte A little off topic but it may be useful. You've been having a lot of forum activity recently. Like 600 post in something like 2 months. Be careful : about spreading your attention on so many different aspects so much. Unless you're growing really fast you can't catch so many rabbits so fast. Also be careful about posting on the forum as a way to avoid doing the real work. I mean, how important is it really at this very moment of your life to focus and understand self-inquiry ? Would you maybe prioritize ? I hope you can appreciate what I'm saying at least a little bit. Good luck and I wish you the best
  3. It's fine, it will get better the more you train. You should aim at consistent 10 seconds Keep the practice steady. Doing it first thing in the morning can help because you don't have a lot of thoughts aka nothing to process.
  4. Yeah after some thoughts my issue seems unrelated to this practice Manipura healing from kriya yoga I guess.
  5. It's so full of mental masturbation it's nauseating. I mean look at Joseph's journal. From the history of the pyramids, how salt is made, such a interesting process, best albums of the last 15 centuries, Abstract ideas about more abstract ideas and even more abstract ideas from this or that perspective ! With abstract quotes ! I mean if people would realize everything you have no direct experience of IS a conceptualization and it's a intellectual defense the whole forum would crumble Abstraction is killing us.
  6. Has anyone ever had stomach aches after doing this ? I'm have some recently and I'm not sure it's related to the practice. They seem to be vaguely related but I'm still not sure.
  7. Never exhale trough the mouth ! Only the nose unless specifically told so.
  8. @Robert There is no talent per se as you learn everything from the begining. But your environement and your genetic can play a huge role in it. For instance your mental processing speed, whether your memory is accoustic or not, even maybe the basic level of consciousness of your family. But the skill itself is only training. But some people may train faster/ more efficiently than you.
  9. I've tried 30 minutes. This technique is freaking amazing. It's hard for the first 15 minutes or so but when you get it on you don't wanna stop. The emotionnal release is very powerful. I'm gonna pace myself and not do it daily but it is freaking amazing.
  10. Costing me blood ? I hope you're saying that metaphorically. If I knew someone who could take me and teach me a healing modality in a very concrete way I would actually pay for it. I don't usually mean healing as in a byproduct of increasing consciousness. I want some sort of healing modality like reiki. The deal is reiki is annoying because I don't wanna "feel" energy, I wanna actually see it happening and know what I'm doing. Like for instance my positive thought producing some sort of red positive energy which will drive away some dark energy in my arm live. Not just abstractly "feeling" something.
  11. Is anyone else having headaches while doing mahamudra ?
  12. Thanks ! I still wish someone had a more compelete consistent explanation aside from yeah you're just moving some energies That's why I like Vadim Zeland and the kriya yoga. The depth and the consistency make it look scientific and it's amazing to digest.
  13. @Truth I do so but it makes my breathing imperfect during 0.5 seconds. x)
  14. @phoenix666 Dude that sounds fucking amazing for 3g. Congrats !
  15. What do you do if you need to swallow ? While breathing I have saliva building up and it doesn't go anywhere unless I swallow it which stops the breathing momentarily but it's still very annoying. I was hoping my mouth would kinda dry out by itself with during the practice.
  16. I've been doing meditation for over 2 years daily now, kriya yoga for 3 full month (currently at navi kriya) and last weekend I've done two shamanic breathing (short 15 and 20 minute) sessions. After those sessions I saw for arroud one minute some sorte of slight fog floating around in the air. As if you added some very subtle photoshop aftereffect. I thought it was just some after effect of the breathing since it dissapeared quickly. But today I saw some sort of cloudy shapeless mist floating arround as if you added a splint of grey into the air. I do not have any problems with my eyes or any other neurological problem. Any ideas of what this might be ?
  17. @Nahm No but seriously what could this be ? Aura's ? Spiritual progress ? Ghosts ? Brain damage ? If it gets any stronger it may freak me out.
  18. @Quanty If you're serious could you give me more details about how you obtained healing powers ?
  19. @Alexandru UK is freaking annoying for travel with all those possible visa issues.
  20. Okay guys it's been several hours since my very first session and this technique is AMAZING if it's your cup of tea.
  21. I've done 15 minutes. I felt a sort of emotionnal release with warmth arround my cheeks as it usually does for me. Aside from that breathing wasn't that hard felt sometimes scary but no headaches or anything. Doesn't feel different from when I'm swimming for instance. I had two things : For like 5 minutes after it I had some sort of slight foggy effect on my vision and by that I mean as if REAL fog was injected in my surrounding with photoshop. Felt very strange/strippy. Didn't know what to do about saliva so had to swalow it super fast.
  22. I am not looking for recipe books per se but rather general books about how cooking is done related to spices/fat/acid, etc to master and understand cooking as a skill. @Joseph Maynor You made a whole topic about tasty cooking so you might have some great recommandations as far as I remember
  23. So is the holotropic/shamanic breathing technique safe or not in the end ? I've seen a lot of debate arround it and I can't wait to try it but I have my doubts also.
  24. Seriously ? I still remember how he gave a money begging pitch in one of his free youtube videos. @-Rowan What resonates with you highly depend on your personnality, for instance I really like Todd because I need to have a clear idea of what I'm doing and I'm a TJ type. You might find any other instructor fits you best
