  1. Meditation is not just one practice, it can be many many different techniques etc. Not just sitting still doing nothing Meditation includes yoga as well as observing as well as realising your Self. Therefore in its entirety it is still the #1 habit
  2. So I've been thinking and feeling some new stuff in my life because of my kundalini meditation and self-enquiry, and the more times goes on it feels as if "I" can let go more and more. This is kind of a scary feeling because I keep realising there is no one behind the wheel of my vehicle/body. How about you just spend a day completely letting go and letting your body do everything for you? I tried this and it actually worked, like just being the perceiver of your life, it's kinda like a movie No mental effort for anything, just letting everything go smoothly by action and there is no suffering at all. Is this close to enlightenment? What are your thoughts on this, living without any control?
  3. So this is more of a philosophy question, but I'm wondering, what actually makes a good person? If we look at the notion of not being egoic/selfish and what seems good in the eyes of society etc. Let's look at an example: A man has DISTURBING, sick, evil thoughts about people, judging them and hating the world, although this might be more of a compulsion for him and he doesn't want to be like this – but however in the real world he displays goodness and is very kind, never acts on his thoughts and everyone thinks he's a good person. Is this a bad person or a good person? Where do we cross the line?
  4. @TheAvatarState Let's not go into some "I'm more enlightened than you"-type of debate. I've had plenty of non-duality experiences and glimpses to know my question (or no other question on this forum) for that matter doesn't makes any sense. That doesn't mean there should be a discussion about it. Saying "There is no point in arguing because we all have different perspectives" is also stupid. I know we all do, but there is something in our psychology to the common human mind that knows what is wrong or right. Enlightened or a psychopath, there are still logical collective agreements to what is Good or Bad. My question was not denying that Good or Bad is relative – I know that. Read my question again and look deeper Also, I know that there are beautiful things and good things and accepting things in any horrible situation. Imagine a murderer and a rapist, you can still find goodness in their actions, because you shouldn't label it. As soon as you label you separate and moralise. But only problem is that doesn't work in the real world. Actually TRY to use that. This is why we have to adapt whilst accepting their lower consciousness perspective – THAT is true growth and and understanding. Thinking your upper higher consciousness perspective is above is also a value system and a moralising system
  5. Understand all of your answers. Going with the non-duality approach here I think is kind of stupid simply because normal human beings don't think in those terms. Good luck even mentioning consciousness or the absolute in a moral debate, they'll all look at you like you're crazy. We're not there yet so we need to adapt. My original question is basically is it Action or Thoughts that constitutes what makes a person good or bad?
  6. Well a person who has a "good mind", clear and calm, no anger or subconscious demons or unconsciousness or nothing probably wouldn't act in a bad way. So there would be a logical distinction where Good mind cannot (or will most likely not) equal a bad action, and a bad mind doesn't necessarily have to result in bad actions
  7. I'm currently writing a book on how we can transcend perspectives, in fact I'd suggest Leo to make a video about this. Further in detail of the flaws and limits of perspectives. This is the way I see it: We all see the same reality but we all have different perspectives, and that's fine. The problem arises when we say one perspective is more true than the other. I wish for a world where we can transcend the perspective and holistically view very perspective as True for that certain point of view, however we can see the limits of it when it comes to enlightenment etc. Also what works in reality/society and so on. Every time if I get into an argument based on politics or whatever the case may be, I try to see the most holistic perspective as possible where full acceptance is at stake. The problem with doing this however is that THAT becomes another perspective again. Ultimately what this boils down to is spiral dynamics right? What can we actually do to transcend this? I know the pursuit of enlightenment might be the ultimate answer, but still we want to enlighten other people too and make them realise there is something above their current level of consciousness. They of course never believe it because of their dogma, and I have full acceptance of that. Doesn't release the urge (which might be limiting for me and egoic) though and this is a part of my life purpose, to find the ultimate TRUTH PERSPECTIVE, which is not a belief or a perspective at all. ...then what the hell is it? And how does one communicate it?
  8. @Aakash Yes Mr. Sadghuru Language is so extremely limited. Another video idea for Leo. Everything communicated takes a perspective, but we can still aim to be less dogmatic about this certain perspective. To know that it's not the entire truth, that there is more out there. Here is where open-mindedness comes in
  9. Because the acceptance of that it might not be is the truth I'm looking for
  10. I'm not trying to communicate what Truth or the ultimate perspective actually IS, but rather want to communicate that it exists and is possible to achieve without making it seem like another perspective
  11. That's the problem. I get emotionally frustrated finding Truth (who doesn't?) and that in itself is a paradox because then I'm missing the point. I've had awakening experiences and the only real "answer" which has appeared is Nothing, that is it. Cannot be put into words or anything. However, just saying that we shouldn't try to communicate it or anything is pure laziness. I would have never gotten those experiences if Leo in the first place wouldn't communicate it through his videos. What I'm trying to find is not just the enlightenment, but like the ultimate perspective of every perspective in the same thing, however being able to see what actually works in certain situations, and communicate that this is possible to do. But whenever I express that it puts me in a perspective which is different from the others, which is not my intention. The struggle is real. I guess this is like some yellow or turquoise stage thing. However I get all emotional and shit cus' I'm really passionate about it
  12. @ajasatya We should still fight for the communication of it I think, for people to be aware at least that we can transcend the perspective. I believe it can be done. Might be a quest for my updated purpose. I want it to be like water flowing through everything solid, making the solid pieces aware of this water which is full peace
  13. I've been taking my meditation and self-enquiry to the next level and every day I have new insights and greater understanding, but today I might have had one of my biggest ones so far. While self-enquiring I always try to reach a point of deep relaxation first or else it's just monkey mind shattering taking place. When I reach the point of feeling like my head is empty and the thoughts are very quiet that's when the self-enquiry truly starts. When doing this practice we can do it in 2 ways: 1. Asking through the ego. 2. Asking through the experience. We want to ask through the experience. This means that we do not really ask ourselves who we are but rather try to feel what we are. I realised that "I" am awareness itself. Everything happening is part of my field of awareness. Let's say I feel something on my knee. Right at that point I am that feeling. I am that phenomena. Usually we say that I am the one experiencing this phenomena but if we take a closer look that phenomena is actually just what we are. This means that I am everything that is happening. I am basically nothing as well since you cannot define me into anything specific. My greatest struggle has been thinking I am the head, because there is this sense of vibration going on there. However, that vibration is just a part of the phenomena in the field of awareness. It does not have to be a me experiencing it but rather just experience happening as a part of this field of awareness which is all I am. My purpose in explaining this is that when we do enlightenment-work and self-enquiry or meditation, it is of great importance to become aware of our body and the sensations going on there. We usually mistake ourselves by thinking the body is ours and it experiences all the phenomena. But it is rather just a part of phenomena and has no greater value to what you think is You.
  14. Fighting self-deception It is a HUGE thing
  15. @Beeflamb You do not hear or read between the lines He is pointing towards the moon but you're looking at the finger. Actualized is the total opposite of a cult, because that is dogma The best way to explain "Leo's" work for us is Nothingness in words, in a modern way to make it understandable It is not so complicated to be honest, and still super complicated When I read many of these posts on this forum I don't know whether I wanna laugh or cry, so many are so far away from what is really being said.
  16. Leo, it would be cool if you'd sometime make a video about Dynamic Meditation (moving body/dancing/going crazy while being the witness) Here are some examples. Anyone got experience? Look at all the stages! He explains it in an extremely detailed and bright way.
  17. Balance your feminine and masculine energies This has nothing to do with gender.
  18. Do not choose the majority of life based on a stage of consciousness or a way of thinking. Rather choose what you love and what you can do to help humanity grow. Calling it yellow or any other colour will not make it any more valuable than the value you give out. So get rid of that mindset first of all, develop yourself and grow your consciousness and maybe then you will touch the "yellow stage".
  19. This is the best thread on this forum
  20. Imagine if suddenly everyone on the planet would awaken to the Truth of reality and existence and they would realise their own Ego – basically everyone would become enlightened What would happen? Would it become a utopia? Would people drop their beliefs? Would people become confused? Would politics look different? Would there be war? Would society advance or stagnate?
  21. I am gonna make this as short as possible: Can sleep deprivation help cause mystical/non-dual/enlightenment experiences? I recently didn't sleep for and entire day and noticed my mind becoming a bit more fuzzy and thinking in other ways than usual, also experiencing reality a bit more "magical" than usual. After 36 hours I meditated for like an hour and afterwards experienced a completely non-dual/ego-separated state. (The word "state" does not make the 'experience' justice). I basically became God and Reality/Truth and had an inner understanding I had never had before. The edges of my body and ego dissolved and I completely merged with reality. It sure scared the shit out of my ego first but then I let go and it was unbelievable. Cannot even describe. The ones who knows – you know. So... I know sleep deprivation is not good in any way. But it sure helped me reach a totally new level of consciousness/knowing. Would it be beneficial to try at least once to go a full night without sleep, live your day normally and then meditate for a long period of time with the purpose of reaching, well, voilá?
  22. What is the question in this thread and what is the point? I do not understand anything You think there is too much theory and not enough "nothingness"? What is the point? The English is totally off
