  1. GREAT answers everyone – thanks a lot!
  2. @Telepresent You totally misunderstood me. No one is inferior there. What are you even talking about? Laugh at no one. Laugh out of joy, not out judgement?
  3. Watch this video with your Spiral Dynamics goggles and and prepare to laugh. Now of course, we must not only think of people/view them in colours and create more concepts etc. But in terms of understanding the Clare Graves Model, this video is awesome when it comes to see 2 different perspectives/levels of consciousness interact.
  4. Ignorance is bliss, that's how I view it.
  5. Good video. However, I think the critical moment is when you are just about to do it. Or you become conscious of (what I call the "key breaking point") the limit to your comfort zone. Sometimes the only thing we don't want to do is to just get started. Once started however it might be the exact thing we want to do. For example procrastinating on a book you're writing. Once you actually get started it is what you love and you experience creative flow. However, getting started is the difficult part – so there has to be a breaking of comfort zone. This is quite a orange-stage thinking but in the subject of procrastination this actually works. If you wanna solve that 'problem'...
  6. @Leo Gura The presentation is more of a teaser but thanks for the advice
  7. Hey everyone :-) I'm currently both working on a book about the mechanics of change where I'm sort of sprinkling the Clare Graves model into different historical events etc. and I'm also about to have a presentation/lecture on the subject soon. I was wondering if anyone has any good resources to describe the subject more objectively? What I mean is if there are some analogies I could use to easily help describe the action taken by the level of consciousness in an everyday situation? It's just to help the people understand very simply how a "stage green"-person for example might think and act in a certain situation. For example: Sitting at a dinner table, the stage coral person takes the saltshaker while passing the other spices to the other guests based on their need, acting as a leader helping everyone else. (I found this in a video trying to explain stage Coral) Another example: While in a sinking boat with the opportunity to get rescued, the stage blue person chooses death before life and tells everyone to sit down while accepting their faith, God's will. Sacrificing for the sake of a higher power. (Came up with this myself). Anyone got any similar analogies/resources? Thank you!
  8. @ValiantSalvatore Thanks a lot!
  9. Great seminar about science vs spirituality. Personally, I ask myself always why there should even be a debate. I think science and spirituality goes hand in hand, because everything is a part of reality. Why can we not just combine the two as it is? The separation is also a part of reality. Transcending the duality is our goal!
  10. I love science and I like to follow scientific articles on Instagram. There was one picture posted saying something about the "heart of the universe" or something and I found this comment where another person started to argue. It's pretty funny, not sure if a follower of Leo but there were some similarities. It's not my comment btw, I just spectated. Could this be Zen-Devilry? What would be the reason for a person to even argue about something like this, lol?
  11. I recommend this audio book for anyone interested in non-duality and taoism:
  12. Philosophy major, I think
  13. Anything communicated through and to the ego seems egoic. Seems like many don't understand what he talks about cannot be communicated. They're just words. But I guess if an ego tries to explain it, that's kinda what it sounds like: delusion, craziness etc. Because the ego is what filters it.
  14. Don't mistake the lowest stage of consciousness with the highest stage. They might look similar but a line drawn by an unknown painter is not the same as a line drawn by someone like Picasso.
  15. That must be a giant baby this time too Or slow-ass internet
  16. Yes, if you mean a negative visualisation, as a stoic technique (Leo has a video on this) As well as positive visualisation, however you need to trick your mind in a way by adding an emotion to it. And your mind cannot tell the difference the picture alone in your mind wont do much unless there is a strong, emotional bond attached to it. This is how you program your subconscious mind. This leads to subconscious beliefs based off of your purpose doing it
  17. Because nothing exists Your computer does not exist either, it is a concept based on separation. The experience still exists though, just like the experience of gravity. Only it's not gravity – it's a concept by carving out a piece of reality and giving it a name, understand?
  18. Probably worth the wait
  19. @alankrillin For the sake of humanity I chose not to read your comment.
  20. @alankrillin Dude relax, are you upset or something? Need a daily dose of Leo? Meditate a bit, breathe... Also, I feel more interested and so do many people here.
  21. @alankrillin Guess you don't know lots about psychology then, but people's interest will actually be higher
  22. What kinda stupid ass question is this?
