  1. I had a pretty cool realisation lately that has kind of stuck with me, although it’s more conceptual now. My realisation was that there is no distance in reality. If you stand and look in front of you far ahead, outside for example looking at cars, then if you do not move then there is no distance. The car seems smaller in your perception but that does not mean automatically that there is a distance. It’s rather just a smaller version of the car. It’s almost as if you can feel how your mind automatically wanna tell you that the distance is there. Pay attention to it and don’t trust it. I mean... there is nothing between you and the object you look at. And if you use another object in front or behind for comparison then that object just becomes a part of the field of visual perception. It might be smaller or bigger, and the resistance of the mind (top down processing) will want to claim that ”the other object is supposed to be bigger/smaller and therefore there is a distance” but you can deny that thought too. So what does this realisation contribute to on my path for now? Don’t know...:)
  2. Like most things, there is a deep problem with the marketing of LoA that makes people misunderstand it. I always try to take action. As soon as I wanna do something, let’s say write a new book, I start writing the book or take some action instantly. I don’t plan for months and engage in mental masturbation trying to figure everything out perfectly in advance because then the fear of failing becomes greater and there is more pressure and I never get started really. I learn through trial and error, and that is the best way to learn. You cannot be perfect before you have even started. What LoA does is that at the same time as you are taking action on your desired outcome, you are visualizing and creating a burning desire (as Napoleon Hill stated) and this becomes a driving force for you to use, so that you do not lack motivation and so that you actually BELIEVE that you can achieve it. But at the same time, you have to somehow externally prove to yourself that you will be able to achieve it. For example finishing a short story before writing an entire book. So LoA works if you know what it actually is. But creating an entire identity out of LoA and trying to write down the same sentence of what you want over and over, expecting yourself to just magically receive it... that’s just bullshit. Affirmations can only work if you connect it to an emotion, vision, AND practical action. So get moving first, and then LoA will take care of itself
  3. @Mikael89 Awww *pet pet*. Don't worry, we don't judge <3
  4. @Mikael89 Sigh... threads about women's legs... mind your own business, buddy
  5. Ok...what did I miss? Seems this has gone a bit out of topic
  6. I've been wondering about this for a while... like, what is the purpose of psychedelics? Why do they exist? Why did the universe create them? Why are there chemicals on this earth that can make you realize your true nature? And why do they exist in so many types of plants and mushrooms, and even within ourselves? Are they a sort of key to Truth? And how is it that they actually have the potential to raise your consciousness?
  7. I don't know... but I think it's mostly genetic. I lucid dream every week, some periods more than others. But yeah, I guess your best shot is to sleep during the day, take a nap, drink some coffee before, and spend a lot of time practicing more self-awareness.
  8. @Inliytened1 AaaaAaah..! I did it myself!
  9. @Sempiternity Good to be reminded!
  10. This is why I'm losing hope for this forum...
  11. Tier 2 people are very rare here, but luckily there are a few
  12. @abrakamowse When I am in a lucid dream I become hyper aware and I am in between dream and waking up, and I make the transition of waking up extremely slow and keep my eyes closed... I usually end up in a sleep paralysis by then (usually people panic in this state), but I keep calm and I slowly start moving out of my body, it can take some time. Then when I am out of my body I open my eyes and start walking lol, simple as that
  13. I have lucid dreams at least 2 times a week. I mean super lucid. I can also create dream characters, I know how to stay in the dream and not wake up (just spin around), I can change my scenery, and I can also convert the lucid dream into astral projection.
  14. You’re already there! You just gotta let your brain know it too; so play this video game and ”walk over to the supermarket”!
  15. @nitramadas In that case it's just a perceptual focus, like an interposition, or a relative size (aka. depth cues) and not an actual distance
  16. @Someone here Actually horizontal distance is also an illusion because on the screen of perception it's all connected.
  17. When I was in motion there was a change in perception but there was still no distance. How can there be a distance if there was no "me" to compare with the distance? My visual perception was just a screen along with all the other sensations, and that was me. Imagine it like a TV-screen. You see distance on the screen (whatever you're watching), but you know there is no actual distance right? Like a 3D-photo
  18. No it was just explaining what would go on in our mind normally. "Front" or "Behind" are just words for bigger or smaller
  19. So this dude is back at it again... https://youtu.be/J-ffpaz8tFM like seriously, what?
  20. @Osaid He took it down, then started a new channel and went in to channel war and then shut that one down. Disappeared for a few months and now back with this + another channel ”Apocalypse Podcast” (yeah, I know.. u don’t even have to check it out).
