For the general audience the first step to truly believing is to witness a miracle or some type of mystical experience in order to confirm it's possible. Unless someone has already done tons of work, is already gifted, and/or takes psychedelics the separation of what occurs within dream and reality is usually to hard of a wall to break just by hearing(reading) someone say it alone. The ego feels very comfortable with it's own limitations. But, the ego is what is limiting their outside perspective and their ability to confirm these mystical experiences. Once "powers" are unlocked inside the self they will be reflected outwardly to others as a normality of reality. If you wish others to drink from the wellspring of prosperity, you must first dig the hole to the water yourself instead of waiting for another to do it for you or believing it's impossible for there is no water to be found. -

I'm sure there is much we can do as humans that is unknown or sounds unbelievable to us at this moment. The dream realm would be a good parallel to our potential. But, regardless of what doing is being done, nothing is gained or lost. The most powerful induvial of all, is one who holds the keys to the universe. But, remains content with the mystery behind the lock itself. More so, the realization of potential empties the cup to be filled with what "can be". Which can be anything. But, the cup will never be filled because "can be" is not "will be" nor is it now, but rather never. -

"He who knows how to live can walk abroad Without fear of rhinoceros or tiger. He will not be wounded in battle. For in him rhinoceroses can find no place to thrust their horn, Tigers can find no place to use their claws, And weapons no place to pierce. Why is this so? Because he has no place for death to enter." ~Tao Te Ching - Chapter 50 -
I'm guessing because it has the word "Matrix" in the title.

Regardless if someone answers yes or no the very question brings up the idea of "a belief of God". It is impossible to not believe in God once this question is brought into your awareness because even the lack of the belief in God implies the possibly of God's existence therefore the belief is still held within "empty" space. No amount of non-duality jargon can get you around this one, though silence would be the closest answer to non-belief. If I was to answer I would say my perceived awareness tells me God could be Good, but not only God could be _____, but God is. Not only "God is" but God Is -

What are we trying to literally scare people "straight" now? ? God makes no flaws and there is not a single aspect of God that is out of balance or lacks harmony. This is why we call God, Great. For all is perfectly perfect, even your homophobia is perfect lol. -

@LastThursday Well said <3 -
Agreed, embracing our feminine side makes all relationships, even friendships, more fulfilling. The difference between making your own meal with love and care versus warning up some frozen food.

100% agreed and I will forever preach the importance of self love over any other practice out there. People literally do not know what they are missing if they don't truly love themselves. It is also a gift that keeps on giving to all aspects of reality that is tethered to the self.

So your solution to a 13 year old living with their rapist is to attempt to teach them high level psychology and stoicism? Call the police or try to have the father get the authorities involved. Stop trying to be a savior to her, just be her friend until the police can do something about this. Getting raped is far far worse than some narcissist verbally abusing you, though I can understand there is a parallel to those two. You can not rationalize with a narcissist, it rarely ever works. Their ego defense mechanics are far more powerful and intertwined with their personality than a 13 year old could ever combat. The best situation is getting out of there and attempting to move in with a different family member by proving there is abuse happening at home. Regardless, best wishes to her.

Omniscience is happening at all times. It is your "now" for that is "all knowing". Knowing does not imply a set of educational points we can observe that is cataloged in our mind. But, rather the very essence of being itself. If you did not Know, you would not be. Therefore everything you are "being" you are also knowing. Anything outside your current awareness is not being, there for it can not be known for it is Nothing. This then implies you are always "one with" all things that are currently know in your awareness, omniscient. Even if you had the perception of more awareness, let's say god realization, that is still your current available knowingness, which is always the Whole. The illusion is the substance itself or should I say seeing different variations within the substance. The substance is not a "sub-" to anything for it is already the All and since we are consciousness (though even pointing to this word creates a divide making it not fully accurate) our awareness is always that of the Whole. There is a delusion on us that forces us to perceive as if we are collecting new experiences and knowledge. But, there is nothing to collect for that would imply it's separate from us. It's not, nor is this knowledge "Truth". It's just a shifting of the same substance that continuously creates a narrative out of infinite imagination. Though, if we compared this knowledge we are gathering to different shapes in the sand. All of it is impermanent and it exists within the backdrop of Nothing which is eternal. -

I always find non-duality wars pretty funny. "I can say Nothing better than you." To be more clear the problem isn't always directly the person themselves. But, there is usually a group of people that valid the one who is preaching's BS which only causes their ego to grow more. There is a lot of 5D chess spiritual BS that these types of people use to deflect as well. "Your perception of me is just a reflection of yourself" or "Sending love and good vibes" when clearly they are being passive aggressive. Generally speaking most can sustaining this mentality forever and some sort of karmic reaction will happen to them. Hopefully serving them up a piece of humble pie and they learn their lesson. But, deep root narcissistic qualities aren't so easy to pluck out. -

I asked my partner @Justine about this question. She doesn't normally go to this forum, but maybe she will to answer more on what I'm about to say. To add context: She was a Muslim for around fives years of her life prior to us meeting when she was with her ex-husband. In that religion music was considered haram, or something that is forbidden, and she was a well mannered devote to the practice, She told me that it made life really boring at first and it was almost like everything else in life started to lose it's magic. Though, this could have been partially due to the totality of the religion itself and not just the lack of music, but the later played a big part. I asked her if she would still get songs in her head. She told me no, all the songs eventually vanished in her mind. But, they were instead replaced with reciting lines from the Quran in her own head. Due to how that religion sees music she made sure to avoid places that would have music, such as a store she would just leave. She would eat at Muslim owned restaurants and if they were playing music she would inform them it was haram and they would turn it off so she could eat there. She had no desire to listen to the music due to the demonization of it. Eventually, life became very content. Boredom without the bored. But, not content in a healthy manner, more content in a desensitized way. Hollow and apathetic. Towards the end she realized she was in a horrible relationship in a religion she felt was built to trap others within it. She eventually "freed" herself from the religion and she told me music was then incredible, like an eargasm, when she finally went back to it. She had a new found appreciation for the music itself and has never thought of removing it from her life again. In my opinion, though this may give you some insight on what happens when someone has a music detox. It's not fully accurate due to the rest of the mannerism and practices that affected her mental health while she avoid music. Getting songs in her head was still replaced with other forms of "words" still stuck in her mind. So I'm uncertain what would happen who did this outside of religion. -

I would agree that can be very helpful as well. There defiantly should be some sort of buffer to ease people back into regaining control of their own mind/perceptions. Attempting to rip away what once was so relevant in someone's life all in one go can cause the ego to rebel, though it's not impossible doing it this way either. I'm not fan at all how the medical industry handles those seen with mental illnesses. But, that's a pretty radical topic in full. You are free to perceive yourself how ever you wish. Personally, I thought my ADHD was a catalyst to my own awakenings. I preached this to many, specially those who also had ADD/ADHD. Later, in my own opinion, I realized it was all a lie I told myself. Reality itself is 100% self deception and will always, no matter what I do, conform to my perception of self's belief system. That, when I tried so very hard to become more awake or even attempt to become enlightened. Consciousness would "imagine" a scenario of me accomplishing my desire usually in some form of mystical experience. This brings my original intent full circle thus confirming I accomplish something. When in truth, there is Nothing that can truly be gained or accomplished. For all things are perfectly perfect and Infinite. If "now" is Infinite then it doesn't matter if I'm experience typing this message or having some sort of non-dual God realization. It's all the same value, once again showing me there is nothing I can truly gain. So, then I must accept what is with unconditional interests for there is nothing to be sought, except experiencing the "now". But, this very well could be my own delusion and some sort of 5D chess to justify some sort of laziness lol. Everyone is free to perceive reality as they wish, there is no wrong way. -

I think pursuing healing is very relative. Sometimes one must experience or be told what we are not in order to find ourselves. Overcoming that can give you a sense of fortified against it happening again. At the same time we must be careful not to demonize the medical industry, regardless of our views on it, due to how the mind can form toxic thought barriers if it perceives itself being tricked by a "trusted" source. The best discovery is self discovery and giving others these tools can be very helpful. I personally have no widespread solution for mental health in others. Though it once was a very passionate topic of mine to talk about. I no longer pursue attempting to deprogram what society and doctors have imprinted on a person. Accept the suffering with kindness. Have faith all shall be well with them. -

I do agree with you. Life should be enjoyed rather than thought about. In the end, all that would be found is Nothing within those questions. It's best to always appreciate the "now". -
Nos7algiK replied to BipolarGrowth's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I can do that. Personally, I have a difficult time giving validity to mental disorders. As someone who was diagnosed with ADHD at a young age, but "overcame" it in my mid-20s with the use of psychedelics. I realized it "literally" was all inside my mind. Confirmation biases largely based on my own inability to integrate/accept faucets of reality and greatly amplified by external sources such as doctors/parents telling me I had it. I did it all to myself and because of that it was myself that could un-do it. Now, I no longer suffer from any of those symptoms. Because of this, I went around trivializing mental health. Preaching to others how everyone is normal or we are all equally different, thus making us normal. There was no true ground to base mental health off of. Anyone could will themselves better with enough introspection and maybe the use of psychedelics to aid it. In hindsight I realized how insensitive and unemphatic this was to those that "believed" themselves to be suffering from a disorder. Also, concepts such as severe autism were hard to rationalize towards them ever having the capacity for normality or pretending to accept they are normal as a witness to them. Obviously still accepting them as a person. So I stopped preaching this to others, even if my intentions were pure, my words with not just meaningless to almost everyone but also offensive. So I learned to accept that no matter what I may believe inside I still need to accept that within this realm of imagination the " I " can dream up "other" people who perceive themselves mentally ill and I need to fully accept them as if this is not just their truth, but my own truth. I should not project my own biased opinion, even if it's what I perceived to be my own experience, onto others. Specially doing it in such blanket statement way. When I say I accept their disorder, I don't personally perceive it as a disorder per-say even now. But rather that's just how consciousness wishes to be at that moment. It's just a thing that is happening and I shouldn't attempt to change it. Even with that being said I'm aware how that makes my original comment somewhat hypocritical due to my own need for commenting in the first place when I "shouldn't attempt to change it." -

Everything for me changed after taking psychedelics a few times. Nothing too profound of a story at least not from anything you have already said. Though a few questions came with this phenomena. How aware was the artist of their work on the intricacies of it? How much are my own biases being projected onto it and I'm "seeing" something that isn't intended to be there? Has reality, the songs/movies/tv/games, literally changed or conformed to my personal alignment? Because I "perceive" myself to be more connected. Have these things manifested more connection with them?
