  1. What a relief to be free of tinnitus while meditating , your story makes me curious if with time and practice you could rid yourself of it permanently with longer multi hour sessions. The premise that anything is possible comes to mind

I am not a traditional enlightenment seeking human , I want more from life much more so be forewarned this will challenge your beliefs , I mean no disrespect I want to share my opinion as different from yours as it may be Classic Asian enlightenment is not what I desire , I want more then finding the absolute least of it , talk about boring and seriously ignorant. I think is a scam put over on ignorant people by ignorant people. , I mean listen to the claim all is nothing - what a scam .. I find absolutely no joy in the realization that nothing matters nothing is important and everything an illusion , I seriously desire more from my teachings and teacher , what a cop out the no stance stance. Instead I want to be all I can have all I desire a healthy relationship a custom home a business that makes a difference in others lives. Having tried the think nothing technique extensively it did lead to a awareness of thoughts but it also predisposed me to not thinking at all or thinking of nothing. For me it was not very illuminating but did provide mindfulness. But Mindfulness is how you treat others. How does one learn to treat himself if he is training to be mindful of others ? I abandoned the method after realizing that fact and stated working on myself as the saying goes Heal thy self before others. First i need to get on my feet being as considerate or mindful to others as I currently know how
  3. I suggest it was Not real as well as low budget as well as being vague and tasteless. Aliens and conspiracy theories are just a distraction we think about to avoid working on our own problem or situations. To get on with life its best to work on you and ignore the bad news propaganda that many conspiracy theorists bite on to. Its impossible to focus on yourself if your worried about the world and everything odd in it , let it go. I have been there and done that and highly recommend it

Birds of a feather flock together , the law of attraction can be put to good use if your mind is in a positive space it will be visible on your body and other positive people will notice you and be gravitated toward you. Likewise negative people pull toward each other with out effort or planning.
  5. Sounds like you really needed the meditation session and your body knew what to do to relax and let go , of stress.
  6. If we don't have a defined goal in our lives life can become repetitive without deviation plain boring and unhealthy. Big goals are more effective at steering our lives then small ones that are met quickly. Many big goals take years of working on. The important thing is for you to have a goal that excites you enough to take action in order to accomplish it. Write your goal on paper with steps needed and start at what ever you feel is step 1

  8. I stopped doing acid in my 20's when I would do a trip every few years , I would often feel alone in the world and quite imperfect and sad even with a full life. I was left with an increased sense of empathy that haunted me for months after I dropped I would be super empathetic to others their situation seeing and feeling their pain sadness or neglect in their faces. I'm less aware now and happy to be !

  10. I have been off sugar for 6 weeks now , I have bought a few brownies during that time but they made me feel ill now i don't crave them , bonus.
  11. Hey Dodoster your gf sounds like she has energy that's untapped and up for grabs. Right now her keyboard is winning and your losing. Become more important then the keyboard or social media and the tv or you will lose out to it no matter what lady your seeing. With that said , the two of you should find something new to do together instead of clicking and clacking

  15. @spicy_pickles Your desire for positive change is all you need and you have it , you can grow or expand on the desire for change by studying material that's relevant to your particular situation. Your complete situation including the ego etc.
  16. Wisdom Insight and Awareness is what I desire , my guiding light All three are one and the same awareness is insight and insight is the wisdom. Insight causes awareness that leads to wisdom
  17. It depends on your interpretation of enlightened but.. If you fully realize the law of attraction you should become enlightening during the paradigm shift from dark low vibe to a bright high vibe that positive healthy desire instills.   18. Not with a fear of heights. I overcame anxiety by straight up exposure to what caused me such feelings. With me although not anxious at home or with close friends I was when dealing with the world. For 7 years the Doctor had me on Benzodiazepine's and I would still be on them and suffering if I had not chosen to deal life and face my fears. To face my fears I stopped the benzo's much to my doctors surprise and started exposing myself to dealing with the public and dealing with myself , accepting myself accepting being imperfect and being worthy of everything i desire. My self esteem was damaged by the anxiety or vice versa... what was important for me , was acceptance of myself to myself. I was someone who over compensated for a lack of confidence. Being tough on the outside not many people knew I was fearful. I also had encouragement , without encouragement I might never have tried. A willingness to learn , acceptance of oneself combined with exposure are enough tools to make big gains in one life. Its something that you have to decide to do and do. If you try you may well find that you beat your fear in short order , wanting to change makes the whole process doable and feel natural. edit: I must add that fear is a Lie , the sooner you realize it the quicker you grow !
  19. I was listening to some inspiring CD's that had suggested I read Napoleon Hills books , when I was looking into Hill I found Bob Proctor with his many Videos and good approach. Hill's teachings are the base of my actualization transformation from ineffective to effective. The original book versions are reported to have more tips that were removed in previous versions. I bought the paperback a few days ago and the audio book for ' Think and grow rich ' To top it off I picked up a CD , think and grow rich , Stickability : The Power of Perseverance

I have been doing my weight training in the evenings starting a few hours before bed for the last week , in that time I noticed that my muscles are no longer stiff or sore the next morning and day. At first i thought I must not be pushing myself hard enough so i trained to failure with max weight and got the same outcome , without sore muscles for the following day. I now feel solid , not weak with soreness like what normally happens to me in the next morning after lifting hard , to failure. I am thinking it is directly related to Dr. Nuns late night training advice. I'm curious if anyone trying lifting at night has noticed a change in their soreness ?
