  1. I will never find God...God is infinite and has no limits...he somehow (in ways that I don't know) created beings (us) to think there exists things besides himself. My goal isn't to find God. My goal it to constantly at every moment in my life realize I am in a world that he created and realize that he is willing me into existence. If I don't recognize this, it is tantamount to someone giving me a new iPhone and me just ignoring that person...not recognizing that he gave it to me and not thanking him. Or someone helping me carry my bags and then just walking away without looking at that person or thanking them... Its rude. Eating food and not recognizing that every ounce of pleasure you get from every bite is being given to you by he who created the very idea of pleasure is rude. We need to recognize that everything is being created for our benefit and pleasure and give thanks to he who created it. Simple as that. No idolatry here .
  2. No, the Creator of the universe and all of reality is graciously willing me into existence at every moment. My ego has not created "my idea of God" its logical. Things cant make themselves...they have to me made by someone....If you saw a watermill in the desert...wouldn't you assume that someone made it....you would find it absurd if someone said that the water mill made itself...same thing with all the complex things in this world...there must be someone who is running the show and creating everything constantly. Pure logic
  3. Leo said this in the thread "No Free Will"? Ok from that I gather that theres something which we're calling God who is the creator of the universe (who is really all of us on a deeper level that we're not conscience of because we're blinded by this physical world and falsehood. I'm wondering if every human would die, would "He" exist?
  4. Who created the food you ate today? Did it make itself? Just curious...
  5. I'm with you...but just realize that this stage of the journey is building that one.
  6. Its not a physical seeing...its a realization that when I'm eating an apple...I realize "Oh wow God is creating right now and willing this apple into existence for my pleasure...Thank you so much God for willing this apple into existence for my pleasure" It's a realization when I wake up in the morning and I can breath with my lungs and see with my eyes that God is willing that those things should happen every second. The challenge and the search is to constantly realize that these things are being done for me. The lower-self / ego wants to ignore that these things are being granted to him, because then he would have to admit that someone is doing something for him and we like to be independent and not have to depend on anyone for anything. The search is to see God in the world. To realize that he is constantly creating everything...every second for our benefit. This is the scratching that I speak of and thats what it looks like....thank you for asking
  7. No, Im constantly searching. Just because someone knows the truth doesn't mean he's experiencing it. Or living it. Every day is a challenge and every day is a quest. Never let your guard down. Always dig deeper and deeper...this world if very deep and no one has even scratched the surface.
  8. First of all I applaud your desires. Second, you are already compassionate...you just need to unleash it and develop it....its like a muscle... I think the fastest and easiest way is to do compassionate actions...by doing compassionate actions...this will affect your insides and make your nature more compassionate. Make it a habbit to give charity to a poor person every morning. It could even be a nickel every morning. The action of giving will infuse within you this character trait of compassion. As for the kissing thing. Focus on the fact that the girl your going to kiss needs love and emotional care and your kiss is giving it to her. You are doing an amazing thing for her...the kiss is not for you. Its for her. You are there to give her pleasure and make her feel that she is loved and cared for...hopefully you do. The physical act of kissing is empty...its really an act of GIVING disguised and this lip thing. Its like shes thirsty and your quenching her thirst. Don't focus on your self (that will help with enlightenment also) focus on her and what she wants and what would make her feel good. Watch leos video on how to have amazing sex. Kissing is not a big deal...its all about the chance and oppurtunity and ability to give to this girl exactly what she needs.
  9. The material world exists...you exist...and we have free will. Period.
  10. Umm.....ehhh...hmmm... Cant a person without realizing, convince himself that he doesn't "need to ask" and really think he's enlightened and its really just a construct of the mind.
  11. Just make sure you use your brain and really be honest with yourself to make sure your not fooling yourself. Leo has a lot of wisdom under his belt. But he COULD be wrong or misinformed about something like any of us could...sometimes its easy to come to a certain conclusion and then just be stuck with that conclusion and not question it. Always question and continue learning and use Leo as a way to open your mind to new ideas...but don't take them as absolute truth. Always dig deeper! Life is like a well. We are very thirsty and the deeper you dig, the more water you'll get...
  12. I think by definition, someone who says "I am enlightened" at least for that moment, cannot be enlightened I for sure am not enlightened!
  13. Please read what you just wrote very very carefully and have a good day
  14. Ok...lets clarify something. If I wanted to right now lets say fly or split the ocean in half and make there be dry land in the middle so I can walk through or do anything else that can alter nature in crazy ways...I am NOT able to do that. The field of infinite nothingness that we're calling God IS able to do anything. If he wanted he could make the sun stay out for 48 hours or do any of the stuff I just mentioned before. If you say that he CANT do those things then he's not infinite, he has limitations...infinite means no limitations. I have limitations. When we say that "I" am "God" there is some truth in that, but its not the whole picture. The real God, the true infinite "nothingness" (somehow) has willed it that there should be this physical world with humans who have some limitations. We are only God in the sense that God is infinite so we sort of "Overlap" with him (in a spiritual way) But we are NOT him 100%. Again because if we were him we wouldnt have limitations. God has NO limitations. God has no limitations!!! Period . I am not talking about a guy in the sky with a beard or crazy stuff like that. Do you agree that if God (how ever you define that word...me, you, infinite nothingness) wanted to right now, he could turn every piece of wood in the world right now into Gold? Yes or no?
  15. Ok so just answer straight out...Your saying that you think the answer to : "would "He" still exist after all humans would die?" is YES. Ok great...Is everyone on board or do we have different opinions?
  16. Who would have killed every human? a million atomic bombs equidistant around the globe, killing every person including the idiot who detonated the bombs.
  17. Why did that guy open that business? Because he wanted to make money. Why did that girl put on makeup? Because she wanted to attract that guy. Why did they add that bump in the road? To slow down speeders. Why did that guy get angry? Because someone said something to him that he didn't like. Why am I writing all these questions? Because Im trying to prove a point? Why don't I just say my point? Examples are a god way to explain something? Why did that bird poop on my car? Because birds don't hold it in and he happened to be flying over my car! "Why" questions are just as valid as other questions...and there are often multiple answers which overlap! Sometimes we DONT KNOW the answer...and thats ok...its ok not to know something. Our minds are very small and have a limit to their understanding. Doesn't mean the question is not good or that it doesn't deserve an answer. In my opinion the answer is simple. (Warning: this might be considered "dogma" in the eyes of some...if it is and you have a problem with that I apologize...please look away) Why are you living? Well, whoever created this universe/reality is willing you to be alive. If he were to STOP his will for you to be alive...poof you would die. Every morning we wake up is a gift. A gift given to us by he who continues to will us into existence. Why is he willing us into existence? What does he want from us? What can we do for him? Nothing! We can't do or give anything to him...he's infinite. You can't give something or do something for someone who is infinite and created the very reality that you are in. So why is he willing us into existence...And why is he willing reality into existence? Simple, he wants to do good to us. He wants to shower us with his awesomeness. What is that good that he wants to do to us? What is that awesomeness that he wants to give us?.......It's himself!! He wants to give us himself. Its the ability to connect with him that he wants to give us. It's the pleasure of getting close to him (like a spiritual infinite orgasm times 10) Ok thats great...so which religion do I have to join to get this? None. Do I have to "beleive in jesus" (whatever that means) NO! Thats dumb! So, How do I get that goodness that he created this world in order to give me? (This is a little more complicated so I wont get into it now...but anyways your question was just about the WHY...not the HOW!!! [I can make a another thread for those interested]) Well, if he created this world and reality and is willing it into existence every moment and is willing us into existence every moment and the whole point is just to give us that wonderful goodness (which is just the ability to connect with him) Why not just give it to us? Why make us go through with this life of ours with these physical bodies and physical desires. Why didn't he just skip this whole physical universe and just give us that awesome pleasure (which is a connection with him). The answer is, because he understood and the best way to give someone goodness is to have them EARN it. If you give a poor man charity. He has this sick feeling inside of embarrassment. If you let the poor man EARN something (money, food) hell still get the same thing but now hell feel much better about getting it. This is wisdom. This is the wisdom of someone who wants to give in the best way possible. Ok now I know Leo might say a bunch of things in response to this. One of them is "Hey buddy, that God your referring to...IS YOU!!!" Ok, well obviously it's not AS simple as that. Obviously, If there is a being that created the universe and reality and is willing it all into existence including me...Then obviously I cant BE him 100%. I see it sort of like we are in His daydream. Just like one of us can have a daydream and the people or figures in our daydream only exist in as much as we will them to exist with our daydream...So to, GOD is daydreaming all of reality and willing us into existence (in order to bestow that pleasure to us). So in a sense we are him...because we are part of his day dream and part of his "mind" But we are not him 100%...He gives us our existence. So in a sense Leo is right that we don't exist because we are just in Gods daydream...but in another sense we exist because existence is defined as God willing us into existence with his daydream. (I hope what Im saying is easy to follow) If you want to refute this please phrase your comments very well and be very very specific and read what I wrote carefully. Enjoy!
  18. Just because the existence that WE understand is based on space and time...doesn't mean there aren't things outside of our understanding which DO have meaning. Who says existence and reality only go as far as WE understand. Our minds are limited.
  19. Can a animal willingly fast? If not, what is unique about a human that he can?
  20. Well enlightenment is all about no-self, so I guess once theres no self, you just become focused on others and want to help others.
  21. @tryingforfreedom Wow the first post in this thread that actually makes some sense to me...I'll comment on what you said later! Thanks!
  22. Cool...thanks for answering! You know about "God's" will? Please share! @Leo Gura
