  1. Have you found yourself going back to childhood memories and senses? I have. A lot of garbage from past years is starting to come up, but very strange how I can now see it for what it is and peace with it, ending up feeling lighter... Do you think this might be the "purging" process Leo talks about? Thank you for your response. - Joel
  2. @Leo Gura Could ''Do Nothing" and "Strong Determination Sitting" be use to reach Enlightenment? Every time I sit to try to do "Self Inquiry" it just feels like more mental activity... Any advice, always appreciated. Thank you. - Joel
  3. Arik Thanks to this brilliant explanation of your experience, now I know I'm not alone. I'm fascinated with Strong Determination Sitting with the Do Nothing technique. I've been doing this for 3 months now and keep going deeper with it. 1hour and 30min every day is my habit, my goal is to reach a 2hour daily sit. My question is: Could ''Do Nothing" and "SDS" be a path to Enlightenment? Any advice, always appreciated. - Joel
  4. If I can do it, you can do it too. haha, thank you tho!
  5. Thank you for your quote. The benefits of no masturbation can be very subtle. YES we are more energetic, and YES we're horny all the time. However, a great deal of these benefits came from my 1 hour daily meditation habit that I've placed about 2 months ago. This meditation is called "Strong Determination Sitting" and has allowed me to develop a strong sensitivity to my physiology, senses and intuition, to enjoy daily interactions more, be present, and compassion towards women and other people. Try it out, here's a link: I hope this helped. - Joel
  6. Could I use positive affirmations for mantra meditation? Could I create my own mantra?
  7. After eliminating porn completely, and 6 months of masturbating only 1 every 2 weeks, I've notice: 1. Subtle increase of vitality. 2. Deep appreciation for whatever girl I talk to. 3. Deep appreciation for foreplay and strong sensitivity to smells, and touch. 4. Ability to see the girl as another human being, not a "piece of meat.'' 5. Less procrastination, anxiety, and victim mentality. 6. Girls notice me, and I stand out wherever I go. ( This is also because of meditation and personal development work) 7. A feeling of compassion for other humans. I've failed of course (when I fall into my lower self and masturbate 2 in one week) and this is what happens: 1. Loss of interest in whatever goals I'm working on. 2. Hard to focus. 3. Want to masturbate again, and again. 4. I no longer feel my sexual energy when talking to a girl. ( She feels that lack too.) 5. Self esteem gets hurts. Anxiety and subtle anger builds. 6. No interest in socializing or going out at all. Masturbation can be great if you know you've earned it. But if you're in a rut or a plateau, this is the worse moment to masturbate. Do not underestimate the power of sexual energy. Thanks! - Joel
