Sufism changed Islam radically, because they knew that Muhammad was not enlightened, and probably had nothing to do with spirituality. If you want to learn about Sufism, you can check Ibn Arabi, Rumi, Al Ghazali, ect.

@Loreena Great question Things that do not bother me anymore are: Familly rules, having to visit my grandmother, aunt, cousins, ect Goals Society norms

@Alicja_ I think the more your awarness grows, the big your vision will become. So, it is wise to build the vision of your Life Purpose slowly. I think of a life purpose as something related to our personality. Insight meditation will give you a great vision of how you should live life.

@Nathan it is good to stay positive. I am also facing some extremly dark days ( this is how my ego perceive it) but I have known a lot about myself. I am sure you can relate

@ajasatya I dont see what you mean!! maybe I dont grasp the English lango very well, lol. Does facing social anxiety straight mean, for example, taking actions: talking to ppl, socializing, etc. Or straight is doing self- inquiry? Or both?!!

@Mondsee I think to become enlightened, nothing should be a barrier. Sex, relationship, money problems, etc. However, it is wiser to have those things before becoming enlightned

Hi, guys. I would like to share an insight, which becomes very clear to me as I am raising my awareness. You suffer= You see the world and everyone around you suffering. You don't suffer= You see no one suffering ( or you accept everything as it is ).

@Razvan Yes, I think it is possible to transcend your ego. How? Visualizations/ Affirmations, when you sit down and do them, always think of your higher self. Do not let your mind ( ego ) tricks you to believe it is your ego doing the visualizations. Do self-inquiry work. Ask who am I? Where do thoughts arise from? When thoughts arise, know The content vs The meaning of a thought. The content is the image in your head. The meaning is the way you identify with your thoughts. Do self-inquiry for as long as you can.
