Notice, are you looking for which beliefs to adopt? That's what countless people are up to, especially in spiritual circles. Whatever validates their worldview and theories and sounds good, they are all ears for. When presented with profound truths, however, they get bored and look somewhere else for entertainment. Let's just move towards what's real rather than towards what's believed, wanted, preferred or valued. These two are not the same approach.

It's an extrapolation based on the way you come across, not everything is a belief. Being grounded is useful. -
gotta need a 4090 for that.

A reasonable one. Sounds like you're coming from belief systems. We assess things to happen, getting it as itself is getting its nature. If that isn't held as possible for whatever reason, no point in looking into things. -

What would you be surrendering to? Better ask what it is first. -

You don't know that, that's what I mean by assuming things. You're welcome. -

@Princess Arabia To be clear, I'm not undermining the influence of belief. They can be powerful, and that's what I'm alluding to. I meant it, enjoy your beliefs, also as a way to acknowledge that that's the domain we're dealing with. What makes a difference are your actions and disposition. If belief can be powerful, imagine encountering something as is. Assumptions make that experience more difficult. In any case, you'll do what you'll do, if you want it to be powerful make sure it is indeed powerful. -
Has someone compiled every new summary into an up-to-date document?

@Princess Arabia I'm just pointing out that I see most of these as superficial and lightweight. Maybe that's why they're so popular in the first place. As I'm biased towards what's real, that's what I recommend. Otherwise enjoy your beliefs. -
@Salvijus Okay, thank you.

How is obsession considered unhealthy? Not saying it's healthy either. It's just whatever it is. Wanting to know everything there is to know about a certain matter. Being obsessed is a good way to learn faster. You don't even need discipline as the impulse to pursue it occurs naturally for you.

Seems like the key component is envisioning a powerful future and putting yourself at the source of its actualization.

Go back to the drawing board and keep contemplating what you are. You've convinced yourself you've experienced it based on hearsay. It's easy to fall into beliefs as of they were an experience. It's clear to me as your closed questions are coming from a cosmology, not a a place of genuine wonder. Neither is this a matter of experience. -

Hmm. It depends on the distinctions we use and how we define them. It does seem like intention has some aspect of wanting behind it, but not necessarily desire. Desire is a concept of want without intention. Intention is taking an action. I desire an ice cream now but have no intention of getting one now, I intent to reply to your post. I think I'm holding intent the way you're holding desire. Intent sounds like a more accurate term. If we say that intent runs everything, whose intent is it? As the way I currently take myself to be, I don't hold myself responsible for the growing of trees, unless perhaps for the ones I might have planted, hypothetically speaking -- I don't recall having planted trees. Why is desire love? By kundalini, do you mean a sort of "life force"? If desire is everything, how come aversion is experienced? What do you mean by life -- survival, the persistence of self, or of a body? And the big banana: what are we referring to by love?

Don't think so. Based on feeling seems fine.

Understand the material, master it. Of course it's good being optimistic.

I think you might be going down a road of airy-fairy, ineffective stuff. Want something powerful and real? Practice some Rinzai zen, for example. -

Whatever you assess about this matter, you'll live as that. And then die. I wonder why people undertake this inquiry. Could it be in order to avoid taking responsibility for your self and life? -

There might not be a "why". -
Easy there, might be falling into more belief.

You make distinctions within the field or activity. A new distinction changes your experience, even if subtly. I suggest you listen to it again and contemplate what distinction is for yourself, it isn't what you think. Good luck.
