  1. That's not the complete picture about Gladiator fights. Gladiator fights were not just events where socially outcasted , slaves, and criminals were helplessly thrown in front of the Lions. Although it certainly happened. But there were also many Gladiators who were very well trained in Gladiator schools in different styles of fighting. And most often they would fight man to man. Also there was the type of Gladiator that was specially trained to fight the animals. In which case the animal would often lose. They got really creative at putting these fights together. And some Gladiators were professionals who chose to do it. Also Gladiators were the equivalent of todays sports stars. And treated by the public as such. So the "people being thrown in front of the lions" is not the complete picture. As for the Romans being heavily influenced by the Greek culture, that is to be expected. They did no different then what we do today. They learned from the knowledge and customs that came before them. Even today and on this forum as well people are inspired by the Greek culture and Philosophers, maybe it's more a testimony to good judgement on the Romans part that they did this as well. You can call Roman culture a Greek rip off. But by that reasoning US culture is just a rip off of European culture. That doesn't make the US less successful or less of a cushy place to live in. But all this is really besides the point. The point being that apparently a society can be successful when it inhibits a more animalistic nature. As far as the Bible goes, its very doubtful that what's written down in the Bible are Jesus teachings. Jesus didn't write the Bible. People that came a long long long time after Jesus wrote the Bible. Then they said Jesus would approve of what they wrote down. Are you just going to believe that? And let's say now that it's the 'higher nature' of a woman that "seeks out the right guy" But is that something that a woman learned within a culture that preaches 'good' moral conduct? The word 'higher nature' in itself implies that it's an more animalistic trait. That makes sense because in the very beginning of humanity, the very first humans, they did live in these society's that you referred to as barbaric. During which time women apparently just gave in to their 'slutty side' and had baby's with anyone as per your reasoning. Which you also mentioned would mean certain death. But if that is true, then how did the first humans survive? They would all have died. Unless 'higher nature' which includes being selective of picking a mate is something of an animalistic mechanism. Actually you see this in most animals, that they are selective in who to mate with. When it comes to apes, monkeys, deer, wolfs, birds, etc even certain insects like certain beetles the females are selective to who to have sex with. They don't just have sex with anyone. Yet they don't have rigid moral guidelines laid down by a culture or religion to convince them of that. The mating ritual for the male is there to convince the female to mate with him/have sex with him. And that's where the slap on the ass comes into play as a mating ritual. It gets you laid.
  2. I don't agree with that. When you take the Roman Empire for example, at the height of it's success, many Gods we're worshipped and rites were practiced. And those were often very animalistic in nature. Animalistic drives like aggression were often celebrated during blood games like Gladiator fights. And human lust and sex was practiced more out in the open. Then there was stuff like widespread homosexuality. Yet the Roman Empire thrived in all areas including culture. The Bible as we know it has very little to do with the original Sages and Mystics of Christianity. They lived hundreds if not thousands of years before the Bible as we know it was put together. The Bible as we know it is more like a final cut that the Catholic church deemed appropriate when they put it together somewhere during The Middle Ages. Many Christian story's, or versions of story's, ideas, and teachings didn't make it to the Catholic Bible. A Bible that was put together by a church that was also very corrupt and hungry for worldly power. There have been versions of Christianity that believed that Maria was Jesus lover, and not his mom. Those other Christian movements have pretty much disappeared because their members were all killed during lesser known crusades organized by the Catholic church. Not to condemn the whole Catholic church by the actions of a few. But their moral teachings don't work that well, showing the abuse by Catholic priests. For the notion that the lower nature of women generally would be slutty, I am not sure that is truth. Women are programmed by nature to desire sex like men do so they will mate and reproduce. But a slutty nature (sleeping around) does not line up with the idea that women have mating strategy based on trying to find that one great guy that presents the opportunity to create a maximum change of survival child.
  3. I feel like that when they ask you to strangle them. It doesn't really do it for me. I guess it's just preference.
  4. I don't see why sex and sexual behaviour should be confined to the bedroom. Worldwide the circus get shutdown because it's considered inhumane for the lion. The lion belongs free in the wild. It can me destructive and scary, but it's also King of the wild.
  5. @AilinKyung Energy/nutrients/pleasure/addiction all applies to it.
  6. That's what I would do. Put it on a Swiss bank account. Pull the interest. And alternate traveling the world with living in the Alaskan wilderness for long stretches.
  7. I don't think it's that black and white. As the monkey I am/humans are, it is more like a mating ritual.
  8. @Principium Nexus go with the Van. Absolutely. I traveled all over the US the last 8 years and I lived in many different rooms and apartments. If I could do it all over I would haven't gotten a Van from the start. Or go slightly bigger. You can also go with a pick-up truck with like a RV behind it. Then you can put the RV places and drive the truck for transportation. Then you don't need to take your home to your work or the store. Living in the wild sounds cool. But if I were to do that I would go live deep in the Alaskan wilderness where nobody can find me. And come out once in a while for supplies.
  9. @SuperLuigi you probably got a strong fight or flight mechanism.
  10. How far off is a state of Being from Enlightment? Is Being like a portal to Enlightment? Or the launchpad so to speak? Or is Being just Being and Enlightment is something completely else? I can recall having experienced a state of Being several times in my life. I think I would be able to recreate that state.
  11. Thanks @Leo Gura. Would it be the case that a very young child, like less then two years old, is more enlightened then an adult? Because they haven't piled on so much useless baggage yet?
  12. Lol. Before everybody starts putting all sorts of diagnosis on@aniss maybe he is just inexperienced, needy, and desperate. But @aniss you are waisting your time with this girl. There are so many girls out there. Matter of fact you could be tapping some other ass right now, but you are waisting time on something that ain't going to happen.
  13. She told you: " Get the fuck out of my face"? Definitely she is not interested. Good job trying though.
  14. Well man if she isn't replying to your messages then whatever. If she was really that interested she would reply.
  15. @Anakin "A spanking a day keeps the brattiness away." After that she needs some Vitamin D to treat the rest of her symptoms. You see she gets upset because you are not getting angry with her anymore. From your post intuitively I can tell you are turning into a little fairy. And an emotional flat line. Watch Leo's video's "What do women want" and "Why do women fall for assholes". Those are two of the very best videos on the web. Absolute gold-nuggets. You should just drop the fairy stuff for a while and start doing/developing masculine stuff. That is self-development as well.
  16. I agree there is a lot to be learned there. And trust me I know. But the moment you can't let go of that rage you didn't just lost the battle, you have lost the war.
  17. That is that Red Pill forum boards perspective. I do think there is a lot of truth in their reasoning. And I think it is useful for any guy to read trough that material. As a reference angle.(And women as well to get that perspective.) But also the Red Pill vibe I find to be a neurotic overreaction that went completely Haywire. In the end you are not doing yourself any favors by holding on to that ideology in an absolute sense. The Red Pill vs The Blue Pill is a useful model because it's rigidity gives structure to thinking, but because of it's rigidity is is also limited. (Like any model regarding any subject.) If you want to keep thinking within the paradigm of that model I think the best place is to be a Red Pill with a purple glow. Somewhere 75% leaning towards the Red Pill on the Blue Pill/Red Pill spectrum.
