Humor is an interesting thing. Some of the greatest comedians have been very depressed. Robin Williams killed himself and Owen Wilson tried to commit suicide. Jim Carey has dealt with depression in the past, so did John Cleese from Monty Python. Eminem he describes it well in that song I posted, the thing about hiding behind the tears of a clown. Eminem he is like a comedian as well. That is what sets his lyrics apart. But at the same time his lyrics can be real acid as well. When I look at myself, my own sense of humor comes from a much darker place sometimes, like a more cynical and sarcastic worldview. Sometimes it's like my brain makes a lot of connections, it connect a lot of dots, that a lot of other people just don't. I think the inspiration for humor and comedy often has its roots in that much darker place, but it's an art to filter that darkness the right amount to make it sound funny.

@stevegan928 the 3 options that you did provide us with are all bad. One is just worse then the other. I would lean towards living with your sister as well. Altough that seems your least favorite option. What you should consider is to look on Craigslist.com and look to rent a very cheap room from a person who provides a clean, safe, and quite environment. Depending on the city where you live in, you can find a room for as low as 300-500 dollars a month. All you need is an air mattress to sleep on. Of course that's bare minimum living but you got a place to sleep, and you can use their kitchen and laundry machines. Also @Sevi did give you some good options. Try to get those jobs working in a Resort or on a Cruise ship. Another job you could go for is Flight Attended. You will make decent money, travel, and they put you in hotels a lot. If you work overtime you make even more, and on your are off days you can just rent a hotel room yourself. You got to look at the future, to not just survive but thrive. Send out dozens of resumes to the Resorts, Cruise Ships, and Airlines. Of course then a primary concern of yours should be to write a stellar resume, so you get the job interview. I believe @Leo Gura has a video on how to write a resume. Also there are plenty of examples online, and you can ask for help here on the forum as well.

@stevegan928 like Leo said in his last video: "The map is not the territory". RSD videos are good. But at some point you got to go out there and actually do it. Those 4 approaches were more valuable at this point then let's say watching another 10 videos. Keep at it and don't let other people discourage you. It's your life man. Live it with some passion!

Actually Corey Wayne gives pretty balanced advice. I think he got a realistic view on things. Blending both male and female perspectives.

You want to apply transcendence techniques to one of the humans most basic needs. Like the example that I believe Abraham Maslow himself gave: When you got a Tiger chasing you, then you shouldn't go sit down and create some poetry. When you want to be successful with women, certain things works, certain things do not. You either accept that or not.

@Drsamy I think a good start is to cultivate kids love for animals and nature. I think that often comes natural to them. And it's what this Earth needs from future generations. Also developing their love for History and the Universe. Once kids have cultivated a love for animals, nature, and History and the Universe it is hard to imagine that they will not develop an interest in Psychology and Philosophy. Maybe start an Aquarium, get some pets, also let them be creative, and let them read.

@stevegan928 you should move out of the place you are staying with her. That should be your first action. Go live with your parents for a short while if you have to. Then you should burn all bridges with her. Also you are not overreacting or wallowing in self pity. I am all about not being a pussy. But this is not it. To sleep in the same bed with your ex girlfriend while she goes out and dates other guys is brutal. No one can handle that. She is controlling the narrative, that you are wallowing in your own pain and self-pity. But from what I have read she is the one who got the bigger issues, not you. She thinks she is in control, but it seems to me that she is the one going down the wrong road. One of very low consiousness. But that's not your responsibility anymore. After you move out, feel free to go date new girls. Whatever you want. It's probably good for you. If meeting girls in the mall works for you go and do that. But there are many ways to meet girls. Your success will depend on utilizing a strategy that works for you. Also work on your self-development as a whole. Like sports, education, career, traveling, etc.

I have dealt with this so many times. Just do this. Say that you went on POF and you did see that she still got her POF active. Also tell her that you would like for you both to take the profiles down. Very clear cut. If she agrees, great. If she doesn't agree, reactivate your profile and date (fuck) a bunch of other women. Don't just pretend. Actually do it. And make sure she knows about it. Keep seeing her, and dating her. Make clear that she is your first option. That you want to be exclusive. But if she is not willing to do that you will keep banging other women. I have done exactly that. Works great. It's your best chance for her to come around. If not, then you still had fun and no one-itis. Or you might find another woman you like even better in the meanwhile. It keeps you in the driver seat.
