This version of me just started meditating again after years, where I almost lost the concept if it existing at some point in my life. So in a away it's new to me. I have only started daily meditation this week. I had to do a lot of other self-development before I legitimately got to the point where I feel like I want to meditate. I really do put time aside now. I like to do it in silence. Also I like to do it in front of the fireplace. The smell/sound/sight/feeling of the fire has a calming effect on me. I use meditation to relax my body, make it stop from moving, and stop my mind from racing. I go in and out of meditative state sometimes for longer or shorter times. In between I do do self-inquiry and contemplation about the things that come up in me. And also just sitting, working in my posture. The insights that come to me I write down on a piece of paper.

Altough it's true I meant it as a joke. Still though if you want to really learn a language you should go live there. I live in America. I could speak English already when I got here. But it still got a lot better over the years. The accent won't go away though even after 8 years.

They usually speak English very well also. As far as the language goes, idk I don't speak it. But I have seen Danish and Swedes talk in the same language with each other. They told me they speak the same language just different dialects. I am not completely sure but I believe in those Scandinavian countries Denmark, Sweden, Norway's, and Iceland they all speak the same language but different dialects. Which is pretty cool actually. There are still a lot of Scandinavian influences in the dialect of Northern England like around New Castle as well. Because that's where the Vikings invaded England. It's interesting how language got around troughout time and left it's influences. Especially in the local dialects.

Haha...well don't move to the Netherlands to learn Dutch though. 95% of the population speaks English well and they won't let you speak Dutch. They will want to show you how well they speak English ? I know, I am Dutch myself. Seriously though, the best way to learn a language is to move there. It's not an easy language to learn. There are a lot of "exceptions" in the grammar. So you would need to live there to develop an intuitive feeling for it.

That being said though, maybe she would take measures to take care if the environment. I am not convinced though. I don't want to listen to the endless women's issues.

No please no, and I am not concerned it will happen either. I have always thought that the show is about highlighting her first, and helping others second, or third, or somewhere way down the list.

I don't think the reputation system measures trend accurately. Rather it measures all time reputation count.

Just because someone is lower rank or new to the forum does not mean that they are not very successful or an all around great person in real life. That's the problem with rankings and reputation points. The person becomes is a depersonalized version of rank and reputation points. And people often fail to see beyond the Avatar on the forum, and don't consider who that person in real life is. It's like Facebook. The people with the best pictures, and the most posts, are often really not the people with the most interesting life's in real life.

And of course it would welcome more perspectives. People can go against the grain. Now people are discouraged to say things that go against the common forum culture/consensus or they won't be getting any likes. That doesn't make a comment true or untrue though.

Also it would make for more natural free-flowing conversations. Sometimes it should be possible to just reply with a simple "yes" or "no" or some other short reply. That is not going to get a thumbs up of course. But it is part of a normal conversation technique. Now it's like: "Well let's make this a long response that appears very smart because otherwise I won't get any likes".

Also it should make for better discussion. More reactions on post. It's quite lazy to just leave a thumps up or not just to show your approval or disapproval.

Yes get rid of it, it takes the Facebook element out of it. The total post count as well if you ask me. The only thing is that you might have to disable the option to change usernames as well. Otherwise people will often change their username and seemingly disappear, and it will be very hard to keep track of who's who.

It's a good list. I would like to elaborate on point 7 though. I would call it "Make your intentions known". This is very important. You got to let her know very quickly that you are going to fuck her. It is a common shit-test by women to try and friend-zone a guy. Why is that? Because by friend-zoning a guy she can tap into about 80% the guy got to offer without giving him sex. As a woman she doesn't want to give it up to too many guys because if she does that she will be considered a slut. When she friend zones a guy she can get much of his personality without having to give IT up. Now you have to make clear to her that you are not that guy. She is going to get fucked. You will be surprised what you can get away with as long as you do it with confidence. You have a better chance of fucking her when you just bluntly tell her: "You are going to get fucked". Then when you are trying to do the whole friend thing. Of course you can increase your chances with good game rather then just being blunt. Bottom line is you should communicate to her very early on that your intent is to fuck her. And if that's is not happening then you are not going to stick around. Which brings me to point 8. 8. Be willing to walk away. I heard some great advice once that to get a great deal on a second hand car you must be willing to walk away from it. The same goes with dating women. Every guy should have a line that he is not going to let get crossed, his bottom line, literally as well as figuratively or he will walk. Which brings me to the 3 date rule: If she is not giving it up to you within 3 dates you walk away. You don't date her anymore, you move on to greener hunting grounds. (Kisses don't count, oral sex and hand-jobs are grey areas). She should have it figured out by then if she wants to fuck you or not. I would highly encourage you to fuck her on the first date. If nothing happened don't be afraid to throw the cards on the table and tell her you have a 3 date rule. I did that once after the first date and by date 3 she came around. Walking away is not just about sex though. It is about everything in a relationship. In a relationship the man should never be the one below the woman. She can never ever be the boss dicking you around. You should stand above her. You are the dominant one. It is ok to come down to her level sometimes concerning certain subjects. Let's say you are married to her and you have a kid and now you have to pick a school for the kid. She can be on equal standing with you. Just not above you. Matter of fact you can be on equal standing with her as as many times as you want. Actually doing that will make for a happier more stable relationship. Just never below her. To sum it up shortly. In a relationship the woman should never stand above the man. You have boundries. She crosses those (or other people) and you walk away. No matter the consequences. All you have in this world are your word and your balls and you break them for nobody.
