MrDmitriiV replied to MrDmitriiV's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Rilles He isn't black, but semi-black. That's a big difference! Maybe the guy just spent a lot of time sun bathing))) Anyway, white males are DOMINANT when it comes to Enlightenment and Spirituality in general. Women and Black men are extremely rare in this domain. @hundreth -

@MarkusSweden WOW YES!!! Did you notice that there are absolutely no enlighted blacks? I haven't seen a single one!!! -
MrDmitriiV replied to Guido's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Guido Yes, lately he took an interest into covering basic stuff for guys below stage Yellow, he probably realized that his base audience are stage Green and Orange folks. -

MrDmitriiV replied to MrDmitriiV's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Dogsbestfriend @Hamilcar @Esoteric Are you guys below stage Yellow? If yes, I'm not surprised you don't see the tremendous usefulness of it. If Leo (stage Torquise) spent 4 vids covering Spyral Dynamics, then "maybe" there's some importance to it?! "Racism" ? So if you label a fruit as sweet and the other fruit as sour, that's racism too? not all labeling is "racism". Racism is blindly judging someone based on its color... (I see the irony though) -
MrDmitriiV replied to MrDmitriiV's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Esoteric Yes, I don't neglect that! However, I spend a lot of time trying to transition into torquise))) There's nothing wrong with looking below, as long as you remeber to look above as well! -
MrDmitriiV replied to Guido's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
The reason Leo doesn't talk about this stuff because it's too basic, lately his vids are mostly made for people who already have the basics (like evolution). -
MrDmitriiV replied to Guido's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Guido @Rilles @Naturalist The human brain takes thousands of years to evolve/change, while human society takes hundreds of years to evolve. Right now our society should consist of at least stage Yellow humans, with stage Torquise and stage Coral as leaders and teachers. However, the human brain didn't catch up with our evolution, thus hindering our progress to get most people into stage Yellow. During the cavemen era the brain , as it was, was perfectly fine, but the problem is we still have pretty much the same brains the cavemen had, but with technologies such as nuclear weapons and AI instead of rocks and sticks. Did you read about human evolution and our psychology? I spent years reading books about these topics, and it helped me a lot to understand the world. -
MrDmitriiV replied to Tony 845's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Tony 845 if you have mental demons then it's to be expected. These practices are meant to purge the fuck out of your ego, and if you have a strong ego (anyone bellow stage yellow) then your ego will scream hard when you'll purge him. @Mikael89 -
MrDmitriiV replied to luismatos's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
although their intention is good, the video's message is covered in too much bullshit. However there's nothing wrong with that (it's perfect for anyone below stage Green), a monkey just needs the rock to be wrapped up in a candy foil in order to it (religion in a nutshell). Leo's vids are much more distilled and bullshit-free. PS By bullshit I mean nice sounding words and images which only detour you from the true path. @luismatos -
MrDmitriiV replied to Guido's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Guido WE no longer need the ego as much as we needed it thousands of years ago. The problem with the ego (at least when it's strong like in stage Red and Orange) is that it does HORRIBLE stuff just to fail at pleasing itself: Wars, Crimes, Violence, Indirect-Crimes (they constitute more then half of all crimes), Fucking up earth (pollution), Creating and sustaining Poverty and so on... The ego wan't bad hundreds/ thousands of years ago, but now it's horrible. Don't forget that there are many degrees of your ego. A stage Torquise might activate/control or silence his ego at will. Stage Yellow has very weak ego. Everyone below have strong ego. ALL OF HUMANITY'S SHIT is a result of strong ego. read more history and just study some plain/basic human psychology. -
MrDmitriiV replied to SaWaSaurus's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@SaWaSaurus Psychedelics can be used either to hinder or skyrocket your progress towards enlightenment. Use them wrong, you'll fail. Use them right, you'll succeed. First you need a very good fundamental understanding (in an intellectual manner) of the limits of rationality, the nature of reality and just what lies beyond our ego. Then you'll learn more from your trips. Watch Leo's vids and read books related to spirituality and the true nature of reality. By far the best book I ever read is "The Book of Not Knowing" by Peter Ralston, every paragraph is packed with enormous wisdom. watch part 2 as well also his vids on psychadelics. -
MrDmitriiV replied to MrDmitriiV's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Cortex Why hundreds of options? I'm talking about an answer based on the true nature of reality (absolute infinity) and the strange loop phenomena. I personally had a lot of dejavu moments, as though my life already repeated lots of time. -
MrDmitriiV replied to MrDmitriiV's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Gabriel Antonio You can explain why and how psychedelics work. In a nutshell, they make you enter radical states of consciousness, making you perceive reality beyond your normal mind. I clearly stated many times in this post that I don't say yoga works or not, just wanted to know how and why it work. If you want to say that it's very hard to explain it, ok I'm fine with that! I accept the possibility that some stuff can't be explained! Yet people like you keep making me a moron who just seeks attention... I thought and believed Leo about Kriya Yoga, yet I was skeptic of my blind belief, thus I just considered the possibility of Kriya Yoga being fishy. So being skeptical about my own beliefs and trying to understand a practice is "projection onto others"??? In your opinion I should just accept everything Leo says without being skeptical and considering different possibilities? Stop projecting your blind assumption of me (that I seek attention) onto others, and watch the video you yourself linked. -
MrDmitriiV replied to Tony 845's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Tony 845 If they truly didn't care about anything anymore, then they wouldn't move or eat. It is true that MOST people who find Enlightenment don't care about sharing about it. Why? Because what society needs right now is Stage Green and Yellow. Society isn't prepared for stage Torqouise. -
MrDmitriiV replied to Hello from Russia's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Hello from Russia THANK YOU for sharing your experience! As someone from a post-soviet country myself (Moldova), I have similar problems as yours. Never met a stage green woman. Never met someone above stage Yellow. Did you do this retreat in Russia? -

In the common psychalogy and self-help world there's a big trend to overuse the labels "Introvert"/"Extrovert". When I got into self-help, I considered myself to be the label "Introvert", and like everyone else I used it as an excuse! "I can't do public speaking properly because I'm an introvert." "I don't love to be around people because I'm an introvert" No, I couldn't do public speaking properly because a series of failures created a bad imprint/memory in my brain which made me fear it even worse then others. (I had such bad verbal issues, that the whole class would burst laughing) No, I don't love to be around people because I have radically different interests then the average human. If you'll put me in a room full of average humans, I'll try to exit it if possible and go find something more enjoyable/productive to do. (So called psychologists will label me an introvert) If you'll put me in a room full of stage yellow/turquoise humans, I'll try to make as many friends as possible. (So called psychologists will label me an extrovert) You see the absurdity of it?! Most people who get introduced to these labels quickly start using them as excuses. As though the label causes the problems. In the last few years I realized that the problems won't be fixed by addressing the label, they will be truly fixed by addressing my association with the label and then some root causes. For example, I did lots of Tony Robbins stuff like affirmations and visualisations, which can only cover up the root causes instead of truly fixing them. In fact, whoever forgets that "Introvert"/"Extrovert" are loose labels but not facts will choose the path of covering up the root causes. Did covering up help me become a better public speaker? In short bursts yes, but as soon as I stoped using those shallow techinques the problem quickly came back. What truly helped me: Understanding that the map is not the territory.

@-Rowan Everytime I open my laptop to use it, I set a timer for 21 min. Once it passes I stand up and look outside. Try to limit the behaviors which make you spend so much time with screens.

Just stumbled upon this gorgeous vid, strange loop/inifinity: Imagine watching this when tripping on psychedelic)))

Soon I'll have 4 days totally to myself (fully alone and no commitment) - so I plan to spend them wisely (meditate hardcore), but I never did a "retreat". Do you have any ideas (like meditation plans) or common pitfalls for me to avoid? Maybe link useful resources?

MrDmitriiV replied to Dan Arnautu's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Dan Arnautu Salut! Ego Backlash is normal especially among stage Green&Orange. These "non-dual" concepts aren't for you to integrate them on an "intellectual" level (not the main goal), but rather to motivate you to explore them on an "experiential" level. One thing is to think about this as "ideas and thoughts" the other thing is to "actually experience" them. Take your time. Try moving towards stage Yellow. Maybe take a break from theory and meditate instead. -
The 2 biggest challenges I faced during meditation is physical pain and sleepiness - until recently. I meditate in the cover of night, when everyone sleeps in the other rooms. Leaning my back on the chair's backrest will make sleepiness kick in, if I don't lean my back, physical pain will start to distract me. How I solved this? By slowly drinking 750 ml of very strong Black Tea 15 min before the practice, my meditation session effortlessly skyrocketed from 20 min to 120 min in one night! Here's how it went: 0-31 min - Concentration Meditation: (on breath): I noticed how the ego will use different kinds of distractions (positive, negative and neutral thoughts) to keep me in the Great Illusion, this made me slightly angry at the my ego's nature. I also felt waves of gratitude and slight euphoria wash over me at the end. short break- to pee and just stand up (it's extremely bad to sit for more then 30 min without standing up, read google) 35-67 min - Do Nothing: I managed to enter some deep "nothingness states" in short bursts, I wasn't sleeping nor "present". short break 70 min-102 min - Neti-Neti Self Inquiry: During this practice I noticed anger build up, as though the ego didn't want to acknowledge it doesn't exist. At the end of this practice I opened my eyes and looked at my hands: 1 sec they felt mine, the other sec they didn't feel mine, then again mine, not mine, mine, not mine. During this I "felt" my consciousness "quickly shift" from duality to non-duality. This lasted for about 30 sec. Mind Blowing! short break (just laid on the floor contemplated on the experience) 110-135 min - Concentration Meditation: Now I started to feel the effects of tea wear off (fuck), so sleepiness started to kick in. Still meditated though. I slept extremely deep. My dreams were unusually vivid and long. May Infinity Bless You!

@Outer Please read about effects of black tea on the body. https://www.webmd.com/vitamins/ai/ingredientmono-997/black-tea I drunk tea my entire life and never felt any "dependence" develop to it. That might be the case with coffee but not tea.
