MrDmitriiV replied to MrDmitriiV's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Arman A computer doesn't have a conscious observer, yet it still keeps a memory. Anyway it's all sweet words from the DUAL state of being. In the non-dualistic state of being the "observer" and the "observed" are the same things. """what you're experiencing is brain function (or more accurately malfunction)""" One can also tell that psychedelics are illusions and thus they won't give you genuine spiritual insights and awakenings. Just focusing on your breath will take way too long to obtain big gains. -

@Joseph Maynor When you are enlightened there's no one to "be" in the "moment" without "pre-judgments" because all 3 are illusions. Don't mistake non-duality with enlightenment. -
MrDmitriiV replied to Faceless's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Faceless "I" the observer of "life" unfolding is life unfolding itself! -
MrDmitriiV replied to MrDmitriiV's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Arman Well, then what is non-duality in your opinion? Isn't it having an experience of reality without "the observer" in our minds? -

@Joseph Maynor Living in a country with 250$ per month average salary surely stops me from going to Mexico and buying 5meodmt... I could grow shrooms but my parents won't understand it((( -

@SoonHei Well go see for yourself))) It may be possible to extract some goodies out of this practice. -

@Viking Are you sure you had an actual temporary ego-death? If yes, then how can it be "pleasant" and "relaxing"? -
MrDmitriiV replied to MrDmitriiV's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Well, seems like 5 min for a beginner is so much faster then first spending 2 years and then 30-60 min meditating. It's like psychedelics vs normal meditation: you can either spend decades of your life trying to get enlightenment or you can achieve it WAY FASTER with psychedelics. This technique can give anyone a taste into a radically different state of consciousness. "Another tool in your tool belt" I also did self-inquiry and meditation, but they weren't that radical. -

My most favorite book is the "The Book of Not Knowing" by Peter Ralston. It takes me sometimes 5-10 minutes to read and re-read a paragraph. The amount of wisdom crammed into that book is astonishing.

@WorknMan Watch Leo's vids on self-inquiry, yoga, nature of reality and illusions, materialism

@Viking That might be a normal result of doing kriya yoga -
MrDmitriiV replied to onacloudynight's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@onacloudynight As said by Shinzen Young, life is measured in how much time you spent in the so called present moment, not in illusions (the so called past and future) Most people barely live more then a year, because all the other time is spent in mind loops. -
@Delmo Sel-Inquiry (Neti-Neti) will make you realize for yourself that death is an illusion of the survivalist mind. In order to survive, the survivalist mind created the illusion of death.

@Capital Creativity is an illusion inside bubbles of illusions.

@spicy_pickles Visualization is Tony Robbins stuff... If you want to get rid of the SOURCE of all your problems, then try concentration meditation, self inquiry, kriya yoga, read books. I was shy around people as well, but after doing some stuff mentioned above, the shyness disappeared by itself))) (I also tried visualization, affirmations and bla bla, it's all low level crap)

(religious behavior) “Paradoxically this makes things much more interesting because that means string theory is much more predictive than we thought it was.” ---Why does reality need to be predictive??? The fact that everything in reality can be predicted is a blind belief which most scientists follow with religious vigor. (religious behavior) “I think this ...” “I’ve been ....” “I think ...,” --- So many fucking "I"s, who is this "I" they are talking about? “He asked me once if I’d bet my life these [landscape solutions] exist,” Kachru says. “My answer was, ‘I wouldn’t bet my life but I’d bet his!’” --- no comment.

he told in a thread that his mom has a photo of him when he was fat. Btw he immigrated from Russia when he was still very young! He spoke 1 sentence in Russian in one video and it had very american accent. He also mentioned that he has a brother in 1 of his blog posts (maybe I'm wrong)

@Sockrattes While their purpose is indeed to find the true nature of reality, almost all of them neglect spirituality which is ironically the most "scientific science" there is, because in it's essence spirituality is about getting rid of our mental lenses which distort reality and seeing the world as it is. Buddha and other enlightened masters have known stuff which quantum mechanics is just begging to prove, THOUSANDS of years after his death! This shows that the neglect of true spirituality will GREATLY slow down most humans in understating their true nature. Please read the book I mentioned, it is the most wisdom packed book I ever read.

Very wise response! The thing is, nothing is wrong with our society as it is. The reason most enlightened humans don't give a fuck about sharing their knowledge is because they realize that everything is illusions inside illusions, "proof" and what is "right" are absurd notions from a broad point of view. All words from turquoise stage humans are merely illusions geared towards guiding people out of their distorted view of reality. That's because all human languages are maps, not the territory itself. """According to Immanuel Kants Critique of Pure Reason, math is basically the only thing we can be certain of. Do you have any reason to doubt that?""" Math is a map created by humans, don't mistake it for the territory!

MrDmitriiV replied to SoonHei's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@SoonHei Remember that "I" is a keyboard shortcut. Instead of saying "this body" enlightened people use the keyboard shortcut called "I". """someone who is seeing ghosts/demons, that is TRUE with a capital T for him/her.""" That's a truth derived from the "knowing" part of human reality, anything from the "knowing" part of reality is merely a belief founded upon other beliefs and illusions. The only TRUTH is an insight derived from the "not-knowing" part of actual reality. "When someone with a proper foundation and mental preparation takes the magic pill" someone with a still unprepared mind might take the magic pill, and he will surely see weird stuff he won't understand, but his ego will be too strong to exchange death for enlightenment. Enlightenment can't be described in words because there was no "I" to experience this state of being. THUS, someone "recalling" his enlightenment experience is absurd. -
MrDmitriiV replied to SoonHei's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@SoonHei When someone with a proper foundation and mental preparation takes the magic pill, they will get an "awakening" experience. Now, how can "you" have a "choice"during this enlightened state of being, if there won't be an "you" to make the choice? There are no different versions of reality, reality is one. It's the mind which distorts reality in order to meet it's survival needs. "Awkening' won't lead you to a "better" version of reality, the word "better" is relative. -
MrDmitriiV replied to SoonHei's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
The "knower" and the so called "lie" are the same thing. Infinity Bless -
@Sockrattes Opinion and Insight are 2 different things. One is stacked up on and from previous beliefs and the later is derived from the "not-knowing" part of reality, the only source where what we call "truth" can be accessed from. I'm merely stating the knowledge I got from enlightened masters, if you want to disagree with them then this forum isn't for you. And YES, "Science isn't trying to proof a materialist paradigm at all cost." they don't try to prove it, they are THINKING inside of it))) Please read the book I mentioned and go disagree with the author)

They are researching "their" own reality, which is different from actual reality. Do you have any proof that the screen you're reading these words from actually exists outside of your own mind? Do you have proof that your mind even exists to begin with? What if I am just a bot writing stuff inside a computer simulation? Read the The Book of Not Knowing by Peter Ralston and you will understand what I'm talking about. Scientists most often just research to prove their already existent beliefs about reality, and they never questioned those beliefs.
