''Body Language - How to Read Others Thoughts by Their Gestures'' did a great job for me. Read it.

Almost every time I meditate. It starts as a slight tingling and than it becomes a gentle pressure. If I focus my thoughts on it even during in the waking hours, the same thing happens, but it requires focus.Focusing on it for more than 20 seconds makes the pressure become so intense and widespread that parts of my head start to hurt really...really bad and I feel like my head is going to explode from the buzzing. That's why I avoid focusing on it. I also have noticed that using Vayu Mudra can lead to similar effects. Note: It is said that that means movement of energy in the energy body. It can mean that your chakra is opening, or that there is energy movement in it, it does not mean that it is developed. Energy work can be pretty tricky.

This is a great way to get organised. This is how I did it and am still managing to efficiently do many productive things during the day. First list all the things you are already doing and all the new things you want to implement in this kind of table, categorize them. It will help you to easily realize what and when things need to be done. Good way to prioritize things. I found this model in one of the books I have read. Probably in : The 7 habits of highly effective people, The power of habit, or maybe in some of Napoleon Hills books. I recommend that you read some of them also. The next thing I do is form a to do list from the already prioritized stuff and list them in order (I have a ''to do list'' addon on my laptops rainmeter, you can also do it on paper/phone or whatever you feel like). And the last thing I do is do the things that I have listed using the ''time blocking method''. I divide my activities in chunks of time, some of them I do for 30 mins, some for 2 hours, some for 10 mins, depends what they are of course. I do the same thing 6 days in a week and than I do some goalless activities and contemplate on the 7th day.... Leo talks about it in this video. You can check it out. Somethings I don't do them in order, I just do the things I feel like doing in the moment while still holding on the quadrants from the model. I do not take the timing of the activities too neurotic, (I used to, now I don't) I just keep them in a good margin of time and manage them more fluidly. If you are not experienced in this area, I suggest that you add 1 positive activity in your day, and take 1 bad out every three weeks or so. It might take you down from few months up to half an year to change everything. But if you are experienced which means you are disciplined and organised, you can reduce those periods easily, and even change few things at 1 time. One step at a time. May the force be with you.

Try not to turn this into dogma debate ... It is self actualization forum after all. If you claim something please post the most reliable evidence for it. I am not writing to anyone specific, but I can see a lot of blabbermouth here.

Working on my master thesis in Semiotic Archaeology right now. I also have great background in 3D modeling, animation and visual effects, Video/Audio composting and production, Graphic Design and Music Comp/Production. Currently I am attending training as a 3D modeler and texturer in a major movie industry related company from my country.

If you use it the right way, it can be very powerful ally, if you use it wrong it can lead you to your demise. Facebook serves me greatly personally. Its a powerful contact organisation tool. I have separate groups for the 2 of my bands, the academy I am studding in, the faculty studies, my friends, family and few other communities that I am in contact with. Great for quick member responses and file sharing too. It used to lead me into great procrastination cycles in the past... schooling the wall, commenting and liking stuff mindlessly. Now usually I open my facebook and mail accounts around 8 am, write, respond, upload, download, review info from all the people I need to, and than I just have the fb messenger and mail app online on my phone for the rest of the day, I check it once every few hours. Does not get me stuck. Good luck with your quest and removing your addiction though, just wanted to point out few good points of controllable use of social media and similar contact tools.

The improved focus and discipline are worth alone. And I don't even want to mention the value of the greatly improved awareness, being able to surrender to the flow and being able to catch the music in the phase, instead of thinking it...... Such a profound abstract experience. Meditation boosts it all. -

At the moment I started doing personal development I came up with a model, it seemed quite looking from back then. I said to myself. Ok I sux big time and I stink..... I have to work this thing out. I will start first with my body, make it healthy, durable, good looking and keep it that way. At the same time I will start with working out the health of my mind (conscious and subconscious). Feed them properly, flex them and maintain them. Because those two things were the thins I was going to carry with myself wherever I go and whatever I do .... they better be great. And than I will expand: in the means of the outer world, my carrier, relationship, bands, friends, parents, education, The things I do not directly control. Though its logic is primitive it worked out great for me and it still is.

In my Semiotic archaeology master studies I had few methodology and theory of science subjects. They taught material that is closely connected with all the topics that Leo elaborates. They were a huge mind opener for me. To put it in a few sentences: What is paradigm, how all the scientific theories and all scientific ''absolute truths'' are just paradigms, how does a paradigm shift occurs, about the ''subjective'' factor in science, how to spot pseudoscience, why does it occur.... and way more. It teaches you how to blast your believe system and be seeker of knowledge, truth and a real scientist.

Yes, you can mix it up and they will be still effective, just dont mix too many unrelated things , its best done with similar topics. For eg: Nutrition, losing weight, having great body, eating healthy, feeling confident with it, ect. They all can fit in one same affirmation that is one or two sentences long. I have few different ''affirmation clusters'' that I use during the day, one in the morning, one in the afternoon and one in the evening. Tip: I also made audio files from them, in my own language and than mixed them with meditation music and appropriate binaural beats. Great way to use affirmations

@Leo Gura 1. Name 2/3 public/famous people u consider to be stage ''yellow'' or above. 2. Are you hammering a grand plan for helping people get high trough the stages described in the ''graves model'' and lead them to the golden era of human kind, except trough the videos.

If practiced well enough full lotus or Padmasana is said to be the most effective one. I can sit in it for 5 mins, and it is very, extremely, mega, giga comfortable, stable and pleasing, after that I start feeling joint pain, It takes practice to get good at it, that's why I use half lotus most of the time. Sadhguru pointed that in this full lotus pose all you muscles, all your joints, and all your internal organs are at rest, you also have stable circular ''energy'' flow. Laying pose is bad for the comfort of your organs and can make you sleepy, the sitting one is discomforting for your joints. But I guess they are both good for a start ... That are his words. -
I have not done any weightlifting yet, I have just done a lot of cardio an endurance training. Anyways I am making plans to start weightlifting in a week or 2 from now, right now I am organizing my meal plans, and the day to day workout plan. In one of his books Mike suggests heavy compound weight lifting, at weight that you can do 5-6 reps per session, 3 sessions per exercise usually, and than weekly progressively add, 1 pound or so. For eg: this uploaded img, from the book. My question is what is your experience with heavy compound lifting ? Btw I ll check out the books you listed

Well sometimes it can waste your energy a little, as the procedure to get one is a little torturing. It is best to induce Lucid Dreams during daytime/ on daylight and the perfect time would be early in the morning, lets say about 5 am, when your serotonin/melatonin balance has shifted and you can go mind awake, body asleep easily. Check out Newport's videos on youtube, he talks a lot about how that is done. I have tried and succeeded to get one even late at night, before I go to bed, but that is quite a gamble, and you just might fall asleep easily. + it takes a lot of discipline to know how to stay awake and resist the rollover signal. Generally, the only thing that can prevent you from having a normal day after a lucid dreaming session are the methods used, it not the lucid dream that wastes you, you will have the urge to sleep a little more in the morning if you induce it at night, and if you do it in the morning, you will have to invest few hours for it. Thats my experience with them Good luck. -
To add on the things people have said. Having a balanced diet is a must, and when i say balanced I mean balanced not in a fancy way, but in a literal way. U need to feed your body enough carbs, enough protein and enough fats, macro nutrients that is. If that issue is not fixed u will have energy issues regardless of your amazing micro nutrient intake (vitamins, minerals ect ..) Fix your macros first, and than do something about your micros (unless its something really severe). And to do that I suggest that you do constant research, do half an hour every day, read a book, read blogs, youtube videos. You will have to commit, its not something you can just fix, you have to understand the problem at its core and than work it out. It might sound hard and harsh to you at first, but if you do it and commit, it can get you really inspired and motivated. I suggest you look for this guy - Mike Matthews, fitness and nutrition professional, has great youtube podcasts, supplement company and is writer as well, he is also a lot into personal development. If his language sounds to complex at first u can try youtube. Sixpack factory Sixpack shortcuts Insane home fat loss Sean Nalewanyj BenCoomberTV Also HandWritten tutorials is a good one, a lot of biochemistry there, but they have easy to grasp absorption and digestion videos. You'll come across other such similar channels, by all means, be curious, the reason I am suggestingthese is because they are very newbie friendly, and a lot of their videos are not too long, they are short and specific. Its a good way for a newbie start, than you can move on to heavier stuff, if you wish.

I dig it more like: a place where u can see other people's perspectives, see the shit they are going trough so they get their results, and see the obstacles they are passing. Its a huge archive of human effort. There is value in that. It can be very helpfully if u use it the right way.

Try out Nicholas Newport's ''lucidology 101 and 102'', practical and straight forward methods to achieve this state. I have induced lucid dreams for about 10 times using his methods. But only for fun. In the means of personal development, I would say it can be good tool for doing awareness and self-consciousness work. In some lucid dream states the environment is very responsive to your thoughts, so things can manifest as u think them, your fears, passions, random memories can just pop out easily. And that automatically makes you aware of certain things about yourself. It can be useful, but in my experience I would recommend meditation over it. Unless you want some fun, and a true jedi does not crave those things -
This is the one, thats where I heard about Prerational/Rational/Postrational thinking for the first time and that is where the Graves model was interdicted for the first time, this video..... i watched/listened for 4 times. The first time, I think I had instant paradigm shift. And laughed loudly ...
