@Thought Art you may want to look into telomere shortening and relation to diet & lifestyle. Second thing are antioxidants such as glutathione that protect your cells from damage. Do your best to prevent unnecessary abuse of antioxidants. Certain foods accelerate ageing while others don't. Any way I look at this, eating only low to moderate protein (1g per kg of bodyweight is more than enough for most ppl) diet with as little animal products, sugar and alcohol while staying as active as possible but not excessively.

If you have healthy elimination channels, stuff is going out all the time. I wouldn't necessarily engage in a serious detox protocol just for the fun although of course, it may be a nice time to ground yourself and take a step back. You can already start to detox by cutting all sources of junk, phosphates, sulphates, nitrates and most cheap factory-farmed meats and eggs and dairy. Going organic where possible helps and consuming at least 60g of fibre to help remove metabolites packaged by the liver. Any detox should always start with cleaning a gut because this is where all the stuff is being dumped in. ACC is a big topic but if you don't feel like doing that, Toxin Sollution may be another option for you.

Natural fats such as nuts and seeds, not at all, they are protective actually. yeah I saw hope you found it helpful and not too complicated I think you can live perfectly well without added salt as long as you consume enough sodium-rich vegetables but I find sometimes meals need just little bit to kinda tickle the tongue, if you know what I mean. The harmful amounts are I think over 3g per day. Yeah, I've heard this independently from other people that eggs make them tired. Maybe it is the tryptophan and maybe just the sheer amount of energy it takes to digest egg protein. Diet is very individualised but speaking from a longevity and wellbeing perspective eating as little animal product as possible seems to be the way to go. I know many on the forum will disagree, this is just what I've gathered based on my research into a variety of diseases, organs and conditions. Don't know if you read my BDNF blog but when researching that I was surprised to find how much it gets suppressed by saturated fats...so maybe that says something.

I've heard about rare cases of brain aneurysm from extreme pressure caused by powerlifting but you are looking at people who deadlift 400kilograms not your average human being. Most likely you have stiff neck muscle and either need to get a massage or just take a break for few days, refeed, rehydrate and do regular stretching morning, evening.

@fridjonk In this study, men who ate >2.5 eggs were also more likely to have have higher BMI (being overweight is a massive risk factor for prostate cancer) and had the highest consumption of red meat and dairy (red meat is strong carcinogen and dairy is kinda controversial as well). They also consumed the least tomato sauce (tomatoes are super protective from prostate cancer) and drank the most coffee (high coffee intake was assoc with increased risk of prostate complications in other studies but it is still not 100% certain why this is, probably something to do with hyper contraction of smooth muscle around prostatic tissue). Another thing is that those the study participants were health professionals which would suggest that maybe they have better nutritional knowledge, doctors are not necessarily the most knowledgable in this topic and health professionals generally are among the most stressed people in the world (and stress will probably also be relevant here). Also many health professionals eat cheap hospital cantine shit food loaded in salt, oil and fat. Things like scrambled eggs and red meat with mashed potatoes and fizzy drink will probably be common. Also consider that health professionals are frequently sleep-deprived and sleep deprivation is another risk factor for cancer But these people with the highest consumption were likely to have overall pretty bad diets I assume with a lot of animal products and too little plants. As far as the prostate is concerned, the number 1 risk is a high-fat diet. I recall when I was doing my final thesis on benign prostatic hyperplasia (prostate growth) high fats diet was a MASSIVE contributor to this. Like we are talking around 45% increased risk if over 30% of calories came from fats especially animal fats. So it is possible that high consumption of eggs (eggs being high in animal fats) can be problematic. Consider that fats are often easily oxidised and most people who eat a lot of eggs fry them on cheap shitty oils like sunflower or even worse on butter which is where you oxidise the oil you fry on and also oxidise the cholesterol in eggs turning it into oxidised LDL, a free radical that acts like a tiny little time bomb. Prostatic tissue is sensitive to this sort of stuff. Also excess choline can be turned into triethylamine-n-oxide (TMAO) in the gut if the microbiome is not that healthy and this is another risk factor for bad health. We also have to be mindful that since these people were consuming 15.5 servings of dairy per week (although I can't find how much 1 serving was in this study and we know very well that dairy is loaded with growth factors such as IGF-1 which is like a steroid for your prostate cells growth. Then there is more growth factors in beef which is also loaded in chemicals and other crap and they were also probably eating more processed meats, salamis, bacons and all of that which are all classified carcinogens so it may not just be the eggs per se but the fact that there was a lot of animal food on the table. Anyway, long-story-short. Eating too much animal products may be a problem. If you were my client I'd definitely encourage you to cut down those eggs probably down to like 5-7 per week max but since you're not I'll just say try to cut it down a bit. You can get a lot of protein from things like lentils and tofu and they ar both highly protective from many forms of cancers and are even tastier imo And if you are hesitant to cut down on them, consider upping your vegetables as fibre can help remove more dietary cholesterol before it gets absorbed in the intestines. Most of all, don't fry your eggs but boil them to preserve cholesterol integrity and prevent oxidation. Also if you fry use olive oil. Long answer but hopefully helpful

What makes you think you have HM toxicity?

Make sure that your desire to achieve unachievable does not drive you into the woo woo land of buying "magical" growth remedies. Once your epiphyseal growth plate calcifies (at age 21-23) that's it, no more growth. Maybe consider how you hold your body. Some people hunch a lot and could easily gain 2cm just by walking straight, turning their shoulders backwards and chest upwards. Derek Simnet's girlfriend has evidently grown a bit buy doing a lot of yoga, you could look up her channel Kristal Kennings but not sure if she talks about this. There are also drastic surgical procedures, they are risky, expensive and extremely painful. I am 184 and where Iive (UK) that's a perfectly normal height. I'd say only about 20-30% of guys are taller than me. 183 is not all that bad

@Kamran great! There are lots of cookbooks for pressure cookers but generally they are easy to improvise with. Good luck

what determines "wrong" perspective and "right" perspective? The word perspective per say is just that...perspective. It is a naked word carrying no real value. My perspective on business, finances, money, girls, food, this forum and everything else is 360 different from yours. Does it mean either of us is wrong? If I brought you a book in my native language from your "perspective" it would be useless. From my perspective it could hold a groundbreaking information. Your mom or the other people do not see your attempt to help as an attempt to help but as an attempt to sabotage. A lot of people looking for help are not actually looking for help, they are just looking to get more love. Perhaps that is all you need to do, share more love and accept that people are where they are and in 99% cases there is nothing you can do about it. If they are ready to accept more than just love, they will come back and ask your opinion.

@seeking_brilliance thanks, man Will try it and let you know how it went.

I think it might just be his face. If you look at all of his videos you see the same facial expression. Not everybody can have a lovable face and a beautiful girlfriend like Derek Simnet.

Good post, pretty sure that majority of carnies could eat plants again if they fixed their sibo

Man this is perfect! All you need. The only additional investment that would REALLY be worth is a tiny portable fridge. Like one of those small cubes that are literally big for one pot. To store the meals from your pressure cooker. Seriously the pressure cooker is the only thing you need. And from the list of foods you mentioned, seems like you already have what it takes. You can create wonderful stews and soups in it. What I do is I cut 10 different vegetables, add 2 cups of lentils, 1 block of tofu and 6-8 different spices and then just cooked everything on high heat for 12 minutes. You get healthy, high protein, high fibre meals. Super cheap and one that will last you for up to 4 days. The only thing you may need is that fridge and maybe 1-2 large glass containers to store the food. But otherwise you got everything you need right there. You can also use the pot to make oatmeal for breakfast, to make great soups, to make meat, rice, quinoa bowl. I mean...there are no limits. If the fridge is not an option then make small amounts. Alternatively do you have a balcony as a form of storage?

It's funny he talks about frying, heterocyclic amines and advanced glycation end products yet as far as i know Thomas is a heavy keto guy and a proponent of gras fed beef smeared in butter and this sort of stuff. It is exactly all these things he mentions that are made when meat is heated much more than if you heat bunch of pasta in microwave.

It is as complex as you need it to be. I like to see the topics discussed her like a buffet. Pick what you like, leave what you don't. . Participate in the topics that interest you, leave out all the rest.

Since I'm not a medical doctor I can't really give an objective position on antidepressants. They are essential for people with suicidal depression as they reduce risk of suicide and they help people feel more stable and grounded. I think in that case SSRIs are great but I think they should be used to look for the real root cause and deal with that while the SSRIs are keeping the depression at bay. I got a few sources on my blog you may find something helpful in there. Finished the latest post just now. Also, some guys on this forum focus on spirituality and consciousness coaching maybe you could reach out to some of our members to help you ( @Nahm, @Emerald, @mandyjw, @aurum) - hope you guys don't mind me quoting you.

Hope none of this will come as a form of judgement but if you could get this under control, you would probably see an improvement in your mood. I've been researching topic of brain health a lot recently for my blog and basically being overweight may trigger certain chemicals in brain that slump your mood and it also slows down brain regeneration and plasticity (this is essential for prevention of depression) . + exercise boosts overall mood so you'd kill 2 flies with one stone. Walking daily for an hour would be a great start. Good luck!

DO you have a large pot and a place to refrigerate your food? What sort of facilities do you have available? What's your weekly food budget?
-
that's the wrong approach Gotta stay fit to fight covid off easier in case you catch it.

definitely not much as I'd like to but I love to finish my workouts with 5 minutes in deep squad, the one when your bum kinda nearly touches the ground bit of yoga here and there and a lot of moving and shifting around during the day but I'd like to make it more regular habit

Don't give up on your sleep. Your brain is evolving and reshaping when you sleep. Humans are the only living species that deliberately cut sleep short....often with catastrophic consequences
