  1. @Anthony1000 first give yourself a mental "highfive" that you found out about this now and not in your 60s. The only advice I would give you is to put a lot of focus in your diet, fitness and lifestyle. Focus on daily exercise regiment and transition as close to wholefood diet as possible. Meditate daily and look for ways to reduce your stress. This way you will live beyond your 90s and will have pleeeeenty of time to realise whatever your heart desires!
  2. @Anthony1000 he talked about that in one of his Top 20 Dreamkillers (can't recall which one though). The mp3s are available if you create an account on the actualized.org and than look under "my products".
  3. Seems like a progressed scoliosis, in most cases it is subtle unlike kyphosis or lordosis. I don't think this can be fixed without a lot of deliberate unilateral exercise. * You mentioned yoga.... excellent!!, keep it up! Look up yogawithadriene and her scoliosis video. This could be your starting point, from there look up similar videos. * you may want to try visiting chiropractic ( I assume you intend to do that already) * there is a possibility that some adjustments via surgery would help you but this is best discussed with an Osteopath. * look up a good literature. Usually there are books for all anatomical conditions and pathologies. I have beaten my asthma with a book focused n proper breathing. Don't rest until you find the one that suits you! Human bones develop along stress lines meaning that if unfortunately the stress comes from single side, they will grow to adjust accordingly. This is the body's way to adapt and to perpetuate survival even with a mild or severe handicap. The amazing thing is that the human machine has ways to fix itself if the stressor changes. So the best thing you can do is to make sure you are always well balanced, well postured, carry bags equally...that and of course finding someone who can guide you through this process...look for someone with at least 20 years for experience and who has done this many times, not a hotshot from the uni. Best of luck !!
  4. oh man, ..this is so true, I didn't realise how much I've been doing this. Probably a habit from the gym. Been focusing too much on ego-drive and too little on the spiritual experience. Thanks for posting this, I needed to hear (read) it !
  5. @Lynnel I do 24-36 hour fast once a week, supplement with chlorella and generally just try to stay away from the most polluted things. Exercise and infrared sauna should help move this stuff around but can't tell for sure.
  6. you may simply be obstructing the blood flow into your leg by sitting cross legged when a bone of one leg is pressing onto to the other and squeezing the artery. I get that very often. Of course could be something else like guys already suggested above.
  7. Greatest contributor of heavy metal exposure are, not surprisingly ,animal foods because toxins like to "hang out" in animal adipose tissue (fat) and smoking is also a big one. (even passive). Living in polluted areas with high traffic is evenly likely to give you a lot of exposure. Dr Greger's article has several videos linked that you may find interesting, have a look. https://nutritionfacts.org/topics/heavy-metals/
  8. A plant- based eating propels compassion like nothing else out there. It comes so fast that it is scary.
  9. @Ryan T can't see anything wrong with that. You will certainly get more beneficial advice then from your regular GP. Just pick someone reputable who's been in the business for a while.
  10. A good indicator is a mess that the food leaves on your plate. Do you have to use a chemical cleaner to get to grease of the plate? ....bad choice. Is the plate nearly as clean as it was in the beginning? ...good choice
  11. Been taking Chlorella for around 8 months now ( 10 tiny tablets daily 20 on fasting days). From own experience I can tell that this is one of the best and most potent things out there. What I've noticed is (all of these could however be related to my transition to plant based diet) improved energy balance throughout the day, no more mind fog after lunch easier waking up better recovery after gym improved calmness and piece of mind ( could be related to meditation) improved awareness throughout the day ( could be related to meditation again) lower cravings for sugary food haven't had any sickness for a long time overdose is not a problem but turns your poop green For both Chlorella and Spirulina it is super important to buy a highly digestible source otherwise you will poop it all out. Curious about baobab, never heard about anyone trying to eat it.
  12. @Nahm love GOL products. I think they are one of the very few left who are still clean and reputable. Perhaps along with VEGA and Sun Warrior, top 3 producers of sports nutrition and food supplementation.
  13. @Max_V if you are unsure on how to thrive on vegan/vegetarian diet I'd suggest read Dr Michael Gregger's book "How Not to Die." This is purely based on collection of scientific research, no bullshit. Very easy to read and packed with potentially life saving information for some people. Give it a go
  14. @Charlotte Quick search on NCBI showed peppermint oil https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4289931/ as well as levander oil https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4843973/ to have some effect Didn't read the whole thing though so have a look at both papers before trying anything yourself Other than that minerals like Zinc, Iron, Selenium Vitamins A, E and certain B vitamins may be helpful, ideally taken in form of food not supplement. Adopting a wholefood diet could be a way to help boost the hair growth and quality since it is really easy to get in all these nutrients.
  15. One of the best videos out there. No bullshit, based on actual research.
  16. @Leo Gura They will get another chance in the next incarnation. I know I am deviating from the topic but care to explain how exactly do you mean that?
  17. @Quader if I can add my 2 cents. What convinced me the most was a document called Eartlings - Land of Hope. I would encourage you to watch it full and formulate your opinion on that. This is what it takes to develop the awareness, this is the movie that woke me up.
  18. @Marinus there is an overhwleming evidence that diet is related to acne. Milk is the number 1 suspect https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21335995 "Both, restriction of milk consumption or generation of less insulinotropic milk will have an enormous impact on the prevention of epidemic western diseases like obesity, diabetes mellitus, cancer, neurodegenerative diseases and acne." https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2715202/ "The evidence assembled here suggests that dairy-sourced hormones, not being subject to any innate feedback inhibition, may be the source of the androgenic and mitogenic progestins that drive acne, prostate and breast cancer." https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/27241803 Consumption of low-fat/skim milk, but not full-fat milk, was positively associated with acne. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15692464 We found a positive association with acne for intake of total milk and skim milk. We hypothesize that the association with milk may be because of the presence of hormones and bioactive molecules in milk.
  19. @pluto , yeah spirulina is a Blue-green algae and Chlorella is green Algae. BG and G have slight difference in cellular structure, the way the feed, reproduce and where they are located. They are also different in nutritional density so taking both is a good idea to complement. The only downside of Spirulina is that it is ridiculously difficult to digest, the cellular wall is nearly unbreakable by the chloric acid. That goes both way for Chlorella however there are companies who produce both in a very digestible manner. I do not have much experience with Spirulina but the most reputable source of Chlorella I found is SunChlorella in Kyoto, Japan who use the DYNO-mill method https://www.sunchlorella.co.uk/products/what-is-chlorella which allows nearly 100% digestibility, they have donated some of their products to research, there were few studies on NCBI, look them up if you are interested . A packing of 1500 of these costs 130 USD on Amazon, a bit cheaper here, in UK. Don't have any E3 experience myself since it is nearly impossible to obtain here unless I would want to pay some ridiculous custom tax but their products seem to have a lot of good reviews.
  20. haha nice workaround mind can only focus on one thing at a time eh?
  21. Many of the "fast readers" actually just fly unconsciously through the book and end up remembering nothing. I used to do that so that I could brag about how many books I've read. Yes, you can probably do that with crappy vampire books but a true valuable book may take weeks, or even few months of note taking, underlining, practising and rewinding. Perhaps instead of that, think where you are wasting time in your daily schedule that could also be invested into reading.
  22. Exactly as @pluto said. Why would you eat the fish oil when you can get it from the very prime source. Blue&Green and Green Algae are the ancient forefather of all live on this planet. They are one of the most potent plants on this planet if not the most potent. The speed with which they replicate is mad! Yes, fish oil does give you the levels of ALA and DHA that one needs to protect from cardiovascular diseases and brain degradation but along with it come all the pollutants contained in the oceans like mercury, cadmium POPs, plastics and pharmaceutical drugs. Ever heard of the "Great Pacific Garbage Patch"? Goggle it before putting another capsule of FO in your mouth. And no, Algae do not take in that stuff, if anything algae help you pull that stuff out of your body. E3 Live from Klamath Lake in Oregon, is probably one of the best products on US market currently. This stuff is now becoming quite affordable for majority of population to buy.
  23. Powerful stuff indeed! Curcumin is the component that is so appreciated in it. Very powerful in GIT/respiratory cancers, inflammations and bacterial infections even shown to slow down the alcohol intoxication. The only issue with Curcimin is its poor digestability and low bioavailability which often leads to overdose causing rash, diarrhoea, nausea and headaches. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3535097/ Excellent summary of various studies.
  24. Heard that people have been able to cure cancers with it , fight infections etc but you can do that on a Wholefood diet with active lifestyle. This seems a bit bonkers. .. Why would you flush back all the toxins, heavy metals and pollutants that your kidneys, spleen and liver have worked so hard to remove? There is probably something that can be recycled that goes away during the Urea Cycle but seriously, there is a reason why it's called waste product....but I might just be biased by western education. I'd prefer to drink fresh wheatgrass every morning which tastes equally shitty but gives you tremendous amounts of nutrients and even helps removal of toxins. Instead of looking what to start doing, it is sometimes better to look into what to STOP doing.
