Charlotte, nicotine numbs your appetite so it just makes sense that you start to crave foods more especially calorie dense. I'd advise mindful eating in weeks to come to prevent weight gain and maybe tracking your calories in something like cronometer to make sure you don't overeat Your body can finally start the cleansing & dotexification of residue nicotine and heavy metals it accumulated so make sure to eat well and clean to help your liver doing all the hard work . Well done on this decision ! A lot of willpower will be required in weeks to come but it is absolutely worth it for your long term health. should you need a bit of help, try L-Theanine supplement, it helps with production of GABA, an inhibiting neurotransmitter that helps calm your nervous system whenever the cravings get too bad. It is just an amino acid found in green tea, non-addictive.

@Alexander Goffrier sorry, roasting is not a good work, more like "overcooking" or burning in oven like Charlotte said. Basically by the time they start to turn brown you are receiving a cocktail of acrylamides and AGEs. Regular water cooking is fine

Could it be posturally triggered? By you performing a specific part of your movement in a way that causes a friction between two objects rubbing on each other. Or maybe something you do unconciously. I often notice some people do "an additional movement" when walking like extending knee forcefully, doing a jerky movement with a leg, constraining their leg muscle etc.... It is same to when somebody grinds their teeth and ten start developing cavities from emamel erosion. Probably not but just wondering what could be driving the inflammation. They may help you identify this in the college as well

seems like a pretty decent routine already. Why not stop there for now and see how it works? Don't overblow your night routine otherwise you will end up with a fomo-induced anxiety

CBD is just another overhyped fad supplement as was spirulina in its time or maca, acai berries and whatever comes next. Because so many people jump on this bandwagon now with everybody suffering from 9-5 rat-race induced depresssion they are looking for external solutions and CBD has been shown to have some benefits.....what I am trying to say is due to mass production this stuff is likely being mixed with other substances to afford cheaper production so i wouldn't be surprised if it not only doesn't work but gives you issues. People have been poisoned using spirulina which is supposed to be "beneficial" and same for blue algae which is pretty much infested scum from unregulated ponds being sold in overpriced supplements. Sorry for the rant but thought like letting the steam of

There is no right and wrong response. I'll tell you this, if you are in sexual relationship or plan to be, you may need to spend some time making the "downstairs" look more appealing and same probably goes for your armpits although this is personal and some girls don't mind. Other than that a well-groomed trimmed face tells you care about your looks and hygiene. I think an untrimmed face with patchy beard growing all over is quite repulsive. You may use a manual razor and get it all of or just trim with electric razor but this will mean you have to do it more often. As for the rest of the body, this is up to you Some guys who lift prefer to shave their chest to make it look better but I've never spoken to a girl that would find hairy chest repulsive. A hairy back is another story, some guys are just unlucky to look like freaking gorillas back there and in those cases it should probably be taken care of but that's not an issue for most guys.

Cronometer is amazing and imo quite accurate especially with things like sodium that does not get lost with cooking and processing. Yeah as long as you keep it bellow 3g you sould be fine but ideally stay within 1-1.5. Below 1g is not too good either. Other things you can try doing is: use only saturated oil for cooking (coconut oil / butter) or just use water only don't roast your carbs to avoid creating acrylamides get in at least 40g of fibre, if you can and it doesn't bloat you, go even higher balance your intake of Omega 3 to Omega 6 fatty acids. Try to get close to 4:1 or 3:1. limit alcohol, smoking, trans fats and hydrogenated oils (even partially hydrogenated) make sure you have sufficient magnesium, b-vitamins and iron for sufficient energy levels sleep 8 hours (this is probs even more important than diet)

I think first of all you need to find a way to be able to forgive yourself for gaining way and try to accept your current situation as hard as that can be. Realise that this is you right now, your current situation is that you are overweight and that's ground zero. This does not mean accepting being overweight for the rest of your life. You know that it is not healthy and good for your longevity so you will have to find and efficient method to start. While you are working on acceptance, of course it will be helpful to identify a technique that will help move to where you want to get. The most obvious way is usually to go to gym and start running on treadmill but that will only get you into viscous circle. And quite frankly running is quite boring and dull and not even that good for fat loss because you are not building your metabolic factory as you would in the gym. To effectively transform your body you may want to start gaining muscle. Itis metabolically more active than fat, it burns way more energy even when you are idle and this will help you to burn more stored fat. It will also help to start transforming your body much faster. Although it may slow down your weight loss on scale but because the fat will be replaced by lean mass, the weight loss will occur. Two people at same height can be 100kg but they would look completely different where one is chubby and the other ripped. If you were considering a program that you can follow, i would advise looking into AthleanX. Jeff Cavalier, the founder has a biggest youtube channel and his advice is incredible. He sells multiple programs that actually work but you will have to work very hard. I would suggest AX-1, that is really good for beginners. Watch few of his free vids on youtube and see what you think. I genuinely believe that Jeff wants to help people, he doesn't strike me as your typical douche selling shitty fitness programs to enrich themselves. In terms of diet, you probably know there is fixing to be done. Not sure what it is right now so cant comment unless you share more,

Do you know your sodium intake? perhaps its not as high as you think. Sodium is only high in processed foods and pre-packed meals. Once you stop eating those, you will never have problem when you eat wholefood ingredients.

one still needs to experience all of this in order to "put the bricks in place" and be able to climb to higher values. Can't sit on a chair with broken legs...at least not for long.

if it was so, why do parents continually get irritated with their child crying, flipping stuff, making mess, shitting itself, getting bad grades etc. I say most parents can only "love" their chils as long as it does not talk, as long as it is 100% dependant on them. Once the child gets a bit self conscious the undying love is not so present all the time. In order to be able to love unconditionally one needs to be very conscious which most people aren't so they end up popping another that does not talk back. Same with american soldiers taking vietnamese women after the war in mid century. Once the vietnamese women learned to talk a bit english and grew a bit more proud and self-reliable they would often get divorced because soldiers could not stand the talking back....the guy in Road Less Travelled talks about this selfish and needy type of love which is what most romantic love in the west is.

Around 3 months I think. Most of the time I was doing 1 video per day in the morning or after work. Because some of those required a lot of focusing and mental power, I would often focus on 1 video for couple days or re-play multiple times to get the juicy bits. Just make sure to approach it as you would an educational course. Take notes and re-read them later especially on the first part. The course offers way way more than just showing you your "dream career"..I'd say that's a bonus.

Many people have figured it out themselves but to many of us it was a tremendous help. If you feel stuck in life this may be the "pickaxe" to dig your way out of the rat-race prison.

agreed ! this is so above the usual hack&slash games and 1st person shooters. Also something like Skyrim could potentially be turned into a very high consciousness game. You can play it as a wise master, collecting the wisdom of ancient masters, perfecting the mastery of alchemy and magic and just meditating on a chair in front of fire for hours. ....Yes I know this sounds like no-life but you asked for games When you are ready to go back into real world, you do that but in the meantime it could help

factors that may lead to obesity besides the usual: endocrine disruptions (insulin resistance and diabetes, hypothyroidism, adrenal weakness, pancreatic disease, cushing's disease.....) leptin resistance (the hormone telling you you've eaten enough) disruptions of microbiota ("read 10% human" if you want to learn more) chronic inflammation in body age / sex / genetic predisposition to store more fat emotional trauma physical trauma constantly getting less than 8 hours of sleep improper evaluation of one's caloric intake and portion sizes inadequate physical exercise excessive stress high level of toxicity and acidosis (body taking in more fat to effectively isolate the toxins in adipose cells) stimulant abuse smoking cessation

Steaming is probably a bit better than cooking because you lose less vitamin C. Kale is quite rich in C. Spinach has a lot of oxalic acid that some people are very sensitive to and it may contribute to oxalate stones in kidneys and deposition of uric acid in gout. So don't go too crazy on spinach but kale should be fine at any amounts.

Actually the podcast needs people like Leo to start lifting the Orange veil. Perhaps couple hundred people will be swayed and few of them turned into full time actualizers. This world needs more conscious humans

This needs to be addressed first. The need to be busy all the time is increasing your cortisol, reducing your melatonin and killing your sleep. Few tips that may help you out Read "Why we sleep" by Matthew Walker to understand the horrific consequences of not getting enough sleep. Start going to bed and waking up at the same time every day. Aim for solid 8 hours. (ideally 8.5) Quit all electronic devices 90 minutes prior to your bed time. Blue light from these blocks secretion of melatonin drastically and prolongs time required to get into REM sleep Dim all lights as much as possible 60 minutes prior to your bed time. Only keep enough light to avoid bumping into object. Ideally light a candle in your room instead of using lamp. Artificial light blocks secretion of melatonin just as blue light from electronics. Consider purchasing blue light blocking glasses and start wearing them around 2 hours prior to your bed time. Do not exercise 2 hours prior to your bed time Do not go to bed neither hungry nor full..something in between. Have a few pistachios before your bed time, they contains highest known amount of natural melatonin. Remove any clock visible from bed that will induce "sleeplessness anxiety" If you can't fall asleep, get up and do a very light relaxing activity such as yoga or meditation. (consider doing these prior to bed time ideally) Make sure your room is as close to 100% dark as possible, all lights that can go, have to go. Good luck EDIT try staying away from caffeine after 2pm if possible avoid alcohol consumption altogether. It is a sedative preventing your body from entering REM sleep.

In order to appreciate joy, you have to experience sadness. In order to be able to cry, you would have to know what happiness feels like. Life is a roller coaster of emotional ups and downs. These are natural cycles in everybody's lifes and emotions are what differentiates living from existing. All the words such as: sad, happy, afraid, nervous, tense..etc are just projection of human mind to judge individual stages of the emotional cycle but in the essence all of this is just different chemical signalling. None of it is bad or good and by acknowledging whatever you feel without sticking a label on it, you will come to appreciate your body for sending you these signals. Thank your intuition for its willingness to communicate with you in this way. Learn to embrace the emotion, feel it with your entire body and then let it go so that new emotions can appear. Never run away from your emotion, never try to hide them, cover them with physical stimulation or enhancing substance and you will be able to enjoy everything this short but plentiful live on this planet has to offer.
